    I used the new Gan 356 ME that released last year I think I don’t know correct me if u can. But I’ve used it for a year and the frosted turned into a glossy finish. And the outcome was it looked like a $4 Dollarama Gan cube from India. Glad I switched to the Gan 11 m pro UV because it has gotten cheaper these few years and it's still a flagship but just like 3 years old.

    sorry no for matte/frosted, they feel weird in hand i don't like it, it gives me a feeling like rubbing polystryne that gave me goosebumps

    I think the UV coating dries out the fingertips probably with the residue from the UV coating, have you noticed that too?

      Yes! I thought that was just me, but I guess it’s not!

    This is a problem for me for the UV coating
    The coating wears off after a few weeks
    I bought a Gan 12 a year ago and after a few weeks the coating started to make the pieces look brown basically meaning that the coating is coming off
    This is the biggest problem for me and I don’t know if it’s just me

      Interesting... I feel like more moisture on my hands, the more slippery. However, I might be wrong.

    Frosted loses its frostiness over time. I don't recommend. In 500 solves, your frosted cube will look like a cheap Gan knockoff

    • @TheSuperflip
      @TheSuperflip  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, you've got a point. I've probably done 1000+ solves on the GAN 11 in the video, and its definitely not what I would call frosted anymore. Its something between glossy and frosted. I personally don't find it *too* bad, but its definitely not what it was :)

      I should have watched a couple of videos about the matte finish first before ordering. Now I will never forgive myself.

    i just bought the gan 12 Uv is it normal to get lots scratches I've only been using it for 6 days

    • @TheSuperflip
      @TheSuperflip  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm…not exactly? Idk about the 12, but my 13 uv isn’t scratched after a good while. Perhaps the way you store your cube may also matter. Try keeping it in a place that isn’t too rough when you’re not using it. Ig it’s also possible it came scratched.
      Hope this helps!

    Do these cubes still need to be cleaned and lubed? Pls answer my question

    • @TheSuperflip
      @TheSuperflip  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course! The coatings aren’t much more than that: coatings. The honeycomb texture in ‘em help keep the lube in longer, but the occasional cleaning and lubing helps it become faster when you think that it’s slowing down.
      Hope this helps!
