Looking to get this GTS in another 2yrs. Bought a new cayenne recently for the car seats but boy do I wish I didn't need the extra space.

Ha! I hear you lol…I stuff my son in my BRZ. I want a Cayman but need to wait until we can use mine as a dedicated fun car and not an super impractical second car to accommodate daddy;) I told the Porsche guy that the GTS has ruined me for liking any EV I can afford! Way too good and I’m sure you’ll love it. Thanks for your comments too. I’m finally where I want the show. Once I hit 1000 subscribers TH-cam will start paying so I hope to invest at that point to make even better 🙂

You and me both lol! I really liked it and was more taken with the luxury than the performance which was the opposite of what I was expecting! Super nice vehicle. I fear all other EVs I test in the near future will be a let down lol. Thanks for your comment!

Seems like range (and to some extent price) is this car's only weak spot. Myself I'm planning to get a GTS Sport Turismo this year or next (a used one though, as 200K is beyond my budget) to replace my current RS6 (and complement my 718 Cayman GTS :-).

More than ever actually and it's not that special anymore, most new Porsche customers are in their 20s or 30s. In todays world things are possible for savvy young people that just weren't before the internet was so big.

This car is way too heavy and that it's another 300kg more than a Tesla is a joke. It is unfortunate that they made no attempt at making this atleast a little lighter, even where too greedy for a mostly aluminum chassis. No matter how well the drive is tuned it can't hide physics.

It was incredible at how well it handled. Better than the F-Type I did but you definitely could feel that the car was heavy…it was strange because it didn’t go around a corner like my mind was anticipating it too. But I was in a parking lot lol so I’m sure if I backed to back it with a 992 GTS you’d see that physics prove it’s point. Cool car if you are crazy rich but it is a sedan meant for commuting at the end of the day. And agree that profit was in play because for $200k it should be way lighter

People who love Teslas typically don't gripe much about the interior or build quality because they love the autopilot and cool tech functions, they are definitely ahead of the competition in that regard. But as the saying goes, Tesla will lose against a Porsche the second there's a curve in the road, Tesla can't match the hands-on driving experience.
