About the Video:
In order to understand the meaning of grey market premium, let us first try to know what is white market, black market and ipo grey market. A white market is a well-defined structured market with laws and regulations where exchange of securities takes place whereas in a black-market commodities are traded illegally. Ipo Grey market is an unregulated and unofficial market where securities or shares are traded before getting listed in the stock market by unauthorized set of people. People generally trade in ipo grey market as they speculate that price of the upcoming ipo of a good company would hike in the future and can generate profits through premium.
Grey market premium is generally the price at which the shares are being offered by the unofficial parties in the grey market. The risk factor here is transferred from seller to the buyer. Kostak Rate and SS or Subject to Sauda Rate are also linked to the gmp of a stock. Q.1~ Seller ke pass company ke share kaise aaye kya usne pehle se unlisted share kharid rakhe the ya Grey market se kam me kharid kar Grey market me hi jyada me bechkar profit banakar nikal raha hai.
Q.2 Yadi hame Grey market me shares buy karna ho toh hum Dealer se contact kaise aur kaha kare.
Q.3 Yadi hame Grey market me shares mil jate hai toh listing day par unko sell karne rule alag toh nahi hai. Jaise hame listing day par pre open session me hi bechna padhega ya 6 mahine tak hold rakhna padhega kyuki humne grey market se buy kiya hai toh listing day par nahi bech sakte .
