Those six counties in Northern Ireland belong to the Irish for thousands of years, and they always will belong to the Irish sooner or later our day will come
That nonsensical attitude is pathetic. Maybe some people didn’t hear we had a peace process - it’s not about who the land belongs to but how we share it. By the way the Protestants have been there for 400 years and their culture long long before that ( West Coast Scots and North East Coast Irish moving back and forth for eons - long before we called each other Irish or Scots but more likely by tribe/clan. The counties certainly belong to the Irish as you say - the Northern Irish. For goodness sake read a book before writing nonsense. Our - the people of Northern Ireland’s -day has come and it involves a resounding rejection of people thinking that one sides day has come. Violence rejected - politics accepted - Unionist and Nationalist working together for the improvement of the people of Northern Ireland’s lives. The most racist view is from people who don’t accept the Protestant Unionist people rights to a political view on their form of Government. After at least 400 years - does it not remind you of people who don’t consider black people as British or American. The Unionist people after 400 years have every right to be on the island and just like every other group who gather in an area in numbers - they have a right to decide their nationality and form of Government. Places don’t belong to anyone but the people who live in them. And the shameful “Our day will come” sounds very like the Nazi “ Tomorrow belongs to me”.
