I've read it and it gives off similar feelings that I had when I read Kasane by Daruma Matsuura, which is another great psychological horror where the main character has a really ugly face but can steal other people's faces by using a tube of lipstick her mother owned.

I love how even while removing the horror and supernatural elements their relationship remains DEEPLY unsettling, extremely contorted and most of all… plausible and realistic. What an excellent writing!

😆 I pre-ordered it on Bookwalker but didn't read what it was about. Just saw good art and went "ok, will try". But luckily I like horror. Seems a lot like Total Eclipse of the Eternal Heart. (which I recommend, tho their humorous other work, Go For it Nakamura will throw you off)

Holly hell this manga is insane… I love it it is so so so sad. It really gets the unsetling feelings going with the summer noises or aspects that r normally enjoyable. It also interprets dread , yearning and mourning so well its a really in the feels work 😭😭😭
