As I watch this video, I am looking at my closet because the door is open and all I see is WHITE SHIRTS 😂😂OMG 😳😳and every time I see a white shirt I’m convinced that I need it😂😂😂. White shirt should be on my No Buy List for 2024🤞🏾🤞🏾just in case 😂😂don’t judge me

Now you have me thinking about the state of my closet. There are definitely some things that need to go because I haven’t worn them in years. I also need some staple items like black pants and a button down shirt in white and maybe navy or black.
I hear you about mugs, because that is ME. There isn't a mug I can resist.

Anyways it's funny, my no-buy list (which is pinned along with my wish list ) also has mugs 🤭 I thought I was shopping wisely but Anthropologie always know to get me...
Guuurrrl! Yes…..I did a purge for the last 3 months and it was hard. I had to get rid of most of the Zara stuff except for a couple of pieces that were made well. The rest was trendy junk and had to go. Then I tried everything on and if it did not fit ( within 5 lbs of fitting) it also had to go. I kept all my designer pieces especially the couple of vintage runway pieces that still look so fab. Buried in my closet was a fabulous pair of Christian LaCroix black palazzo pants! Once I purged down to what works for me I created a buy list of 15 items. This saved me literally thousands of dollars cause for the first time in 30 years I bought nothing from the after Christmas sales.I came close but I prevailed! SO no buy January even though its my Birthday this week. Your advice is so on point. I did not look at my purchase regrets but I am adding that to me second purge. Great tips lady. Keep the content coming.
I love this video....my list....black pants, grey pants, cute ankle socks, hats, scarf, gloves, panties, lipstick, eyeshadow, pajamas, soaps (until they are all gone) swimming suits, hair scrunchies....

So timely! I am in the midst of a closet audit and counted 6 fuschia/bright pink sweaters- so that is going on my no-buy list.
I'd pushed myself to get rid of one that I dont love due to fit, style & shape.
It has a neckline like yours and when I saw you (someone with great taste) in similar cut I immediately think- ooohhh, I should keep it.
So funny thay you went on to talk about the neckline and wanting a new sweater.

Wonderful video. Glad you are almost at 100% feeling better. Colds, etc. these days are NO joke. 'Love how you even "audited" yourself from your last similar video to make this one. I'd like to add, helping your/our selves with impulse buying and sticking to our intentional "no buy" lists can help us all with better saving habits. Additionally, the 52-week challenge is simple, doable, and even customizable. There are so many templates with varying dollar goals on Pinterest, etc., and sticking to this plan (which you can literally start any day of the year) can help allocate these types of savings towards other goals, needs, taxes, or even...wait for it...our wish list items! 5🍪

Meaning, as women we buy because we like far too much. If we continue on that path, our money will never stop spinning. Yes, the mis spelling was intentional. I only buy for need. And if any of you are like me? You probably don't need a thing. Save some money in 2024. My recent purge was not only massive but heartbreaking😞

This is helpful especially in being responsible for our own clothing waste. Been editing my closet for goodwill and curating what I need on a monthly basis (a skirt for work this month) and placing spending limits on a high quality piece. 😅

I already made my first and hopefully last impulse purchase 2024…😢 luckily it’s a black and white bag that I can make go with most things… but I don’t feel comfortable spending that much and pass the return time 😬😅 I can pass it to my daughter because she loves it but it will hurt my heart if she doesn’t take care of it! I will definitely not do this again for 2024! If I am on the fence I won’t pull the trigger from now on! Bye the way… you look so pretty 😊
Okay done with the binge watching....... and now it "here I come a caroling" and joining in and subscribed ! No stinking list is going to stop my groove, I can't be saved, go on without me 😵. The only thing I can do is stay away from going into retail stores or thrift places, which since after Christmas I have succeed and the double digits below zero temps and white stuff everywhere has been a great deterrent. It been hard because on top of it all I got the hey happy birthday texts, emails, and regular mail from retailors giving me so many reasons to walk thru that door that will expire after my birth month of January is done. I am trying now to organize things and put aside items that I might be able to sell and put toward my living off of retirement funds. I had weight loss surgery. A combination of true medical need to live a quality life from pain, vomiting, and I’m a true size smaller. I have clothes to get tailored and to give away. I have purged my closet( Sumer/spring, fall/winter). I only need sexy undies, pj’s, lounge wear. I’m not buying anymore clothes other than what I’ve purchased this year after surgery. No buying in 2024 but the true needs.

Hi Carolyn. I joined your channel about 3 months ago. I ventured over from Ca$$ie's channel. I love your personality and content. I am now happily a "cookie". My no buy list is EVERYTHING! I am an impulse shopper, and if I like it, I typically buy it. 2024 goal is to be more intentional about my purchases ... I gotta now love it, just not like it! Well, this is the goal I am working towards because I am truly a lover of all things fashion, not just bags or shoes ... All of it! 😂 I do purge my closets monthly, so that definitely helps, but so many items I end up giving away are items I just liked, NOT loved! Thanks for sharing, I will be actually now making a list to get serious about my spending!

ooof, lol I dont even know. It's a sheer gel color, I haven't gotten my nails done since before Christmas. I remember asking the nail tech for a sheer neutral OPI gel polish.
