Hello, Joe! I was away for a few days and just got back home and I've got to tell you this is my favorite street food in the summer and during the feast of San Gennaro's (soon in September). I've never made this myself but, my grandma made it all the time and we never learned because it looks so complicated and messy. But you made it look easy. One thing I would do is drizzle some olive oil on the bread ( grandma did that for me) then press it for a few seconds and voila! Boun appetito. Thanks for the recipe and the courage that I can make this. Until your next video.
Thanks Bill, Yeah love those North End feasts. Going to miss them this year...thanks a lot COVID. Making these at home brings the feeling of being there though.😎👍
@@YourEverydayJoe Hey, Joe I didn't even think about the feast of San Gennaro's being cancelled because of COVID-19. I'm in NYC and have not heard anything about it being cancelled, I hope not but, if it is now I know how to make it (sausages and peppers) myself thanks to you 😀👍
How did you dehydrate your aeroGarden herbs? I’ve not tried doing so because I figure the fan will blow them all over. I do wonder whether that might be a good use for the basket? But I haven’t tried it yet.
Thanks for the question Holly, I didn't use the air fryer to dehydrate the herbs from my Aerogarden. Although it would be a good idea, I would agree that the fan would make it very difficult. The basket may help but I didn't feel would be sufficient as I had a lot of herbs. I did use my conventional oven to do the job. It worked great. You can check out how I did it in my 5 month Aerogarden update video. Check it out here: th-cam.com/video/vn1jkPM3GBs/w-d-xo.html
Hi Joe............hope you are well and staying safe. As a senior citizen, I just found out that Baker is not including us in the "new normal" until Phase 4 which requires some sort of treatment &/or a vaccine. So we continue with masks and social distancing, no visitors. Crazy times. Best wishes to you and your family.
Hey Richard, I've missed your comments here, was getting worried about you. glad to hear from you and hope you're doing well during these trying times. I'm not a fan of government forcing "treatment" or "vaccines" on us. How do we know if the stuff they use is going to be safe in the long run. Stay healthy and safe my friend.
@@YourEverydayJoe I hear you..........I don't think we will be forced to take vaccines, who knows. With all this crap and the way this country is heading socially and politically, I am happy to be an old fart on my way out and not some young person looking at another 50 to 70 years on the planet. Nope, I'm ready to say adios.
Hey Richard, remember that some "farts" linger for a long time. Don't be in a hurry to go. The older generation has a lot to teach this not so old "fart" . I would like to invite you to my Facebook group, I would love to see you there. Here is the link: facebook.com/groups/601461726969123/
Hi Joe, new subscriber here. Your sausage sandwich looks yummy. I’m also a foodie that cooks and bakes breads. Not sure where you are from, guessing SI, NY. I originate from Newark, NJ, home of the Italian Style hot dog. Check it out, I make the “pizza bread” too.
I am originally from the Naples, Italy region but I grew up in New England, East Boston to be specific. Your videos look good, will be checking out some soon. Although the playlist I will checkout first is probably the one for Sebastian Maniscalco He's hilarious!. Thanks for your support.
Thank you. I've had my air Fryer for over a year and haven't used it yet. I will use it now.
Your welcome. Thanks for supporting my channel.

Bill Green Sorry to say, but DiBlasio might have something to say about that. Here in NJ, we have another dope, Murphy.
Great job as usual, Joe...Came out great!!
Thanks, buddy. It reminds me of the Italian feasts in the north end. Not sure if they'll happen this year, so I made my own just in case.😎👍

Thanks Joe! I’m so used to using my AirFryer that I sometimes forget that the good old oven can often be the best answer. Thanks for the reminder!
Does anyone besides me think he looks and sounds just like Ray Romano?
