Great to see you Dave at the museum. This is the mine we was on about isn’t it I’d love to go meet them I know a few of the characters there like Andy and Margaret. Great footage too class at it’s finest my friend
Better late than never! Sorry. Many thanks for your kind comments on the film. Unfortunately I am not up to date on the dig but I believe they are still going up there.
I got quite emotional watching that.. Seeing Isaac and your son ( what’s his name? Lol ) being escorted underground by Chris I see the next generations of the Beardmore & Webb caving dynasty’s taking the baton and .. well not quite running with it .. but certainly pushing it forwards . Great to see you catching up with Andy Beardmore .. that handshake is one of decades of shared experiences rekindled. Loved it all Thanks
I'd like to think there will be further "family" trips - in fact only last week Stuart (wot's 'is name) Webb and myself were invited by Dave Barry to a dig over at Goodluck mine where we met Andy on the hauling line again. I did go down this one but the effort of getting out was not a pretty si ght. Thanks again for you interest and kind comments. There's still a few more films to come including a couple of cave rescue ones with you in a starring role in one of them.
I’ll look forward to the next instalments.. it transpires that it’s now 20 years since I last went caving and even that was a single trip a good few years since my active time.
Really enjoy these videos thank you.
Thanks - keep watching...
