Are these builds even good anymore especially since halving sundering axe damage and it basically being core item on all these build then the nerf to glad. About just keep going set full damage
I’m surprised Cthulhu or any strong guardian isn’t on here bc tablet feels so good. Warriors axe into tablet is giving early pressure early but in the mid to late game team fight your dmg is so relevant it feels like especially if you throw in a glad shield.
@@cpt.meanbean8610 tablet is pretty bad without also building book of thoth and then you're two stacking dmg items in, with no prots on Thulu. Good players won't let you get that build online

So Im an Arthur main and have always loved him but the bluestone subsequent damage changes def hurt him a lot. I still used bluestone for about a month this season but recently have found a lot of success with sigil of the old guard on him. Mana sustain is a struggle early so consider something to compensate for that but late game you feel like a raidboss with prophetic and hunters garb spirit robe. You're able to stay alive full cycle abilities constantly and gain your ult charge much easier because you can stay alive. Im only diamond rank but with the build I have won and done very well in over 60% of the games I have played. It felt a lot better than bluestone imo.

Is it worth buying a power item (eg. Frostbound, Cad club) early for the ability to farm effectively? I feel like I can barely clear wave when going into defense first
No - always go regrowth. It’s too strong on these characters. And axe is still worth building yes. If you need antiheal go last item brawlers some games
This was casuals obviously and it’s not best in slot for solo by any means but I go for an attack speed kind of build on cu chulain with tailsman… at max stacks you’ll get 12% attack and movement speed which you get stacks off the wave, and you get MP5 which obviously translates to 50 HP5 which is a boat load. When you kill the wave transform you can chase them down and shred them with autos, alternatively if you’re being dove you clear wave and if you’re able to transform you’ll have a TON of regen and movement speed to get away or turn. I never see people build this item but it slaps

Very very new to smite on console and I'm getting the jist of the item builds but why do you have slots filled in your "starter" that don't say "build" I'm always a big fan of mages in all sorts of games so I'm trying to find the best for me but yeah. Why do you have items in starter that aren't checked off? Is that like a second setup???
Axe better late, bluestone better early. Bluestone makes it easier to win lane by out clearing and out trading. Axe makes you tankier and lets you kill carries late.
@@TheMirksta axe is still better for Squishies in most cases just for the extra tankiness too. If you go bluestone and soul eater in the same build you get blown up by the Squishies too easily. Doesn't matter both are still good tbf.
Axe is better on most gods i would say but bluestone is still good depending on who you're playing. Like Wukong i'd always go bluestone and souleater. His safety is pretty much unmatched, so you can get away with building less tanky, even in the lategame imo.
Anyone tried archdruids on Sylvanus? I feel like it might actually be pretty good on him. He's got the sustain to counteract the dmg taken and his autos would proc it easily
As a hades main in high masters and #4 hades currently. I tried tainted steel over sands of time a few times and I’m not a fan. Hades cooldowns are atrocious especially early game. I get that it makes you tanky but as someone who carry’s more than half his games as hades and can’t really rely and anyone since I solo que, the extra dmg and cooldown from sands definitely helps over being a little more tanky
pendulum aegis is core on hades and nothing anyone says will me make think otherwise. Almost 200 power and 20% cdr and you'll never run out of mana once you finish it. Pendulum aegis, thoth, fang, poly and the last 2 items depend on the matchup.
Arthur gets owned in so many matchups now and nobody cares about a cuchu late game anymore ur monster dmg is useless you'll get 1 shot before you even do enough dmg to backliners plus to really do stuff with these characters you need to build their stacks mid to late game every fight and it's just not good
one thing i can say about this season is that theres a good amount of build variety, its not just one build OP and the rest are garbage

I feel like caduceus shield should have been reworked into into a stone item like stone of binding instead of being a part of the hammer tree now.

With the Sundering Axe nerf that was JUST ANNOUNCED, I'd say building bluestone for clear is not out of the question.
2things: sundering axe still worth building for surtr in particular? Also do you drop breastplate for contagion if you need antiheal?
No - always go regrowth. It’s too strong on these characters. And axe is still worth building yes. If you need antiheal go last item brawlers some games

Glad nerf is not too bad and it still has really good stats so I don't think it'll go away. Axe might be nerfed enough to replace it with bluestone
