Dude! So glad to have found y’alls channel! I’m lovin’ the detail and build in general. I would love to do something similar but I’m so far into my current van build - also an E350 - that it will sadly have to wait…at least I can learn from you guys in the meantime. Keep up the good work!
Here after watching Justin's video of your conversion. If I ever do another conversion with Justin I'm doing this. It looks amazing!! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Sub'd
We just posted a video on them today, sorry for the late response! If there are any other questions you have just let us know. th-cam.com/video/nU6UMlZdZHA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FGSuRdLcd91fu-eO
Curious why the whole framework’s top wasn’t treated by paint, as any salt water (from beach adventuring) will possibly get between the floor panel and framework to start corroding the Aluminum. I would think that total encapsulating the frame would be key to longevity. 🇨🇦🤙
@@blueman5924 with the glue squeeze out we got, it should be 90% encapsulated. Regardless aluminum 6061 is quite corrosion resistant unpainted and I honestly would feel fine leaving it all unpainted. Lots of steel that will corrode much faster even painted. I am also extremely anal about cleaning after the beach! If we did paint it first, we’d also be relying on the adhesion of the paint. I’m sure it would’ve been fine but aluminum is picky with prep and adhesives. I personally wouldn’t have painted first unless it was powder coated, which has its own set of challenges. Thanks for watching!!

Thank you!! We appreciate the support. An E350 van body is also an awesome platform for a build!
Oh yea I can tell already this is going to be a great build! Excited to be along for the journey!
Incredible!! So impressive!

Incredibly well built compared to what you can buy nowadays
Where did you buy you composite panels from?
Curious in this too. Can you give details of the panels?
