Imma have to respectfully disagree with you about The Happiest Girl, Diddy. While I’m all down for a Jisoo/Rosé duet (and truth be told it’s long overdue that we get one), Jennie and Lisa’s voices were needed for the record in my opinion. The thing that keeps me coming back to Blackpink is just how distinct each of their voices are, and that the four of them possess the ability to tell a story differently but when they all come together it’s just magical. The light higher tones of Rosé and Lisa combined with the dark huskier tones of Jisoo and Jennie make this song so powerful. And if it were just sung by two of them I don’t think it would hit the same. But I would be interested in seeing what Rosé and Jisoo would do to this by themselves. And dope video as always!
Yeah, IMO Lisa and Jennie’s voice brought some substance/Tenor to the Song. They all have different Distinctive Essence and I enjoy hearing How it would sound if Lisa or Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé’s doing it. It’s like Shutdown or Other hiphop songs we could have said it would be better Just JenLisa but No, Those Chaesoo Essence were Needed.
Agreed Jennies vocal tone is so unique it definitely makes the song. And props to Lisa! This is the first time I felt she confidently sang and sounded really good!
I'm a Jisoo bias and she did an astonishing job on Happiest Girl. Made me and a lot of people cry. But no I would definitely not take Lisa and Jennie off the track. Their performances were beautiful and they brought extra layers to the song, and having 4 distinct voices sing those lyrics made this universal, sending the message that any and all of us can relate to these emotions.
BORN PINK album is indeed a new and experimental approach- at least for Blackpink. Sonically, it's different to THE ALBUM. For sure some people prefer the previous one because it's has more loud EDM instrumentals. However this album offers a fresh perspective from the girls, and their voices matures in this album even more!
Bro i swear these haters have zero brain cells when THE ALBUM was released they were hating on it saying that its the same Blackpink formula songs now Born Pink is different so they are complaining that this isn't Blackpink bro what--
Tally- i thought the exact same thing! It’s a K-Pop Idol’s anthem to all the toxic fans who want to control every aspect of their favorite idol’s lives and always having something negative to say about anything they do or don’t do
I so disagree with u on the happiest girl ... lisa did an amazing job vocally everybody was shocked by her abilities as a vocalist we never seen something like that from her and jisoo ofcourse killed it too ..so happy it's an ot4 song
If take out LISA from The Happiest Girl, we won't recognize and appreciate how beautiful she sounds. She never gets much chance to show her ability to sing, now she proved it. She sounds amazing, her emotions delivered. Maybe not to you but most of us feel it. Same to Jennie, we need Jennie too to tell her story differently. Jisoo & Rosé really did great. Blackpink completed each other with this song.
Loved the reaction and your honest thoughts. I personally really loved this album, I feel like it's a more well-balanced project than their last one while still keeping Blackpink signature style. As you said 2 more songs would have made it a more complete work but I can confidently say that I can listen to it from start to finish. P.S. What Dame said should be put as a disclaimer on every single song released by a K-pop group/artist. Let people live their life! Straight facts💯
Agree, need a couple more songs. Especially since one was a solo. And I hope to get a couple more mv from this album. My favorites are similar, no order, Tally, Typa Girl, Shut Down, Pink Venom
I love Tally, and I totally agree with what you all said afterward. We only pay to be entertained, not dictate their life. They are just human too. Tally has a great message. ❤
Btw “Tally” isn’t edited. Whoever uploaded it censored it themselves for their channel, the song itself is explicit. It’s ironic that the uploader censored that song with that particular message 😂
It's funny you should say that because lisa's vocals were the only ones in the happiest girl that went viral not just on twitter but tiktok too. And whenever lisa sings I tear up especially that broken hearted huskiness she brings to the bridge. Honestly, lisa and jisoo held the song together. If it had just been the two of them the song would still sound gorgeous.
Lisa vocals went viral b/c for so long everyone thought she couldn’t sing ( which she always could sing she just needed to find her range) but jisoo vocals also went viral
i understand why they vote the 3 songs unlike the other 3 songs because they love the rap flows. but for me YYY (i love synth), Hard to love and Happiest girl.
For me The Happiest Girl is one of their best songs, especially in terms of the voices, it's their best ballad, the emotion they convey in the music is incredible, I really thought it was very good, and one of the best songs on the album, if it's not the best. Tally is really GOOD, i love It so so much, and the and the lyrics, too good, they came with everything on the album. And Hard love is really made for Rosé, the music is great, the lyrics, her voice fits perfectly, I really loved it. I think it's the best BLACKPINK album, and one of the best of the year for sure.
I know this is a few months late, but they've always had a uncensored lyric version of Tally. The Happiest Girl is my favorite song on the whole album.
The Happiest Girl would not be anywhere near as good without Jennie and Lisa. Jennie adds a Husky, depressing tone to the song. As if she's been there and done that many time before and she's bitter by the results. Lisa adds naivety to the song: a star-eyed individual who's experiencing heartbreak for the first time. Without them, the pain blinks feel when they hear this song simply wouldn't exist.
I wanted to hear Jisoo as well on the chorus part of The Happiest Girl, although her parts were perfect for her, they should've at least given her a chorus as well. There's an explicit version of Tally! That shit was better hearing them cuss.
I'm 19 from Ghana and i'm a huge kpop fan, tally talks about my story and a experience being a kpop fan in my country. I've got lots of hate just for being a kpop fan. Just recently there was a huge argument between my roomate and i. His reason was why i played Kpop and saying kpop was meant for dumb people even telling me to mention anyone in my country who listens to kpop. Even on when i post any kpop on my status. some comment saying i need prayers. I really don't feel comfortable as a kpop fan here in my country tho but i try as much as possible not to listen to anyone. Tbh i always feel comfortable and glad whenever i see you guys.
Perhaps unpopular opinion, but first of all I like Ready for Love. It's a really nice pop song, sort of like a World Cup anthem. I think it would work great in concert. It features their vocals nicely. It is also tonally pretty different from anything else they've done, and that's refreshing, I think it's tempting to think of it as slapped on the end as an afterthought (as if they don't have dozens of songs in the vault that they considered). But once I moved past the PUBG mental block, and considered it as a conclusion to the album from a song cycle PoV, I believe it is meant to be resoundingly positive and a declaration of optimism. Think about the contrast to You Never Know from the Album, which is a sad, reflective ballad about the struggle with stardom. This album is doing a lot of pushback. It follows Tally which is the most assertive pushback they have against their haters. And as such, it is saying that in conclusion, their outlook is that they are open, they are ready for love, they are inviting their lives, their fans, the future with open arms. From that POV, I think it's a great ending to the album. My $0.02.
hey guys i think you should check out a comeback from a artist called-Rad Museum he is in a music label with dean and he just had a comeback called-SOME GIRL He also has a few songs with dean if you wanna check those out aswell.
Honestly I understand the fuss with dragon and Jennie, one it’s a rumor that was proved false but it would be weird since g dragon met Jennie when she was 16 and he was well into his 20s.
10/10 The Happiest Girl
What! Are you kidding? Everyone like Jisoo and Lisa in this song. They're the reason the song was incredible. Jisoo's voice is the star of the show. I thought Rose's voice is a bit weak.
I happy that jisoo got the spot she deserved especially in happiest girl but when I saw the end rosé bit weak I felt offended she's my bias..you should hear her singing in hope
Now u can hype jisoo please do but rosé voice is not weak she just wasn’t shining in this song which is okay b/c she had a whole solo on the album so they let jisoo and lisa shine
I also disagree with Diggy "the happiest girl" if there are two members that should only be on the track it should be Jennie and Lisa since they are the members who get the most hate for just existing. Like with Jennie, haters like to call her lazy, not contributing to the team so on and so forth. While for Lisa the beginning stages of her debut the industry was discriminatory towards her because she was a foreigner
Tally is explicit on the album so I have no idea why the lyric videos are edited and it absolutely ruins the song. I watch 18+ different reactors and they all missed out on a genuine shocker hearing Jisoo swear and you can never have a first reaction again. It's really unfortunate that whoever did the lyrics videos did that... Rose's "Hard to Love" had an uncensored "fuck" in it 3 or 4 times, so it's not YG, or because it's K-Pop, it's because the lyric video makers are terrible. I know the "official versions" released on Blackpink's music page on TH-cam has them edited and that's what the lyric video makers used, but they could have and should have found the originals.
I have to disagree with you about The Happiest Girl, as much as I would love for a miso and rose duet, this song would not have been the same without Jennie and Lisa. The reason being because all four of their voices are so different that it works and just takes the song to another level.

YEEEES 🥺❤️
that song make me cry

honestly when I first heard happiest girl, Lisa and Jisoo stood out to me 😫
Tally- i thought the exact same thing! It’s a K-Pop Idol’s anthem to all the toxic fans who want to control every aspect of their favorite idol’s lives and always having something negative to say about anything they do or don’t do
it's censored cuz yall listen to the clean ver. 😂 there's explicit ver in Spotify
I so disagree with u on the happiest girl ... lisa did an amazing job vocally everybody was shocked by her abilities as a vocalist we never seen something like that from her and jisoo ofcourse killed it too ..so happy it's an ot4 song
It just sounded like she tried too hard.
@@rosalinalee8313 nah it really didn’t
yeah lisa did great and finally we've got to hear her vocals but this shit was for rose and jisoo
i vibe with Tally and Shut Down the most in this album 😮💨❤️🔥
Desagree with the happiest girl! Lisa and Jennie voices were needed
If take out LISA from The Happiest Girl, we won't recognize and appreciate how beautiful she sounds. She never gets much chance to show her ability to sing, now she proved it. For me The happiest girl is their best ballad ever. Their voices, OMG!!!!
Lisa and jisoo in happiest girl killed it
period
Agree
Tally is 2nd best song in this album🔥 this song is so refreshing and not boring!

HARD TO LOVE IS MY FAV!!! ROSÉ SOLO ❤️🔥
There's an explicit version on Spotify 😁
JISOO AND ROSÉ ARE UNDERATED ACES . DAMM VOCALS . 🔥
This sound suits Rosé so much it might not be everyone's cup of tea...she killed the hard to love song
Lisa's vocal in the happiest girl>>>>>>>>
I love Rosé voice. But Jisoo grew so much. People don't give them much love. I love your sincerity.
I feel like this album is their best album.I love the songs they are my type of jam and i love this side of them
Agree, need a couple more songs. Especially since one was a solo. And I hope to get a couple more mv from this album.

What I love about yg artist...is they made me want to go to their concerts..bcuz yg concerts is..mind blowing performance
I am disagree with you for happiest girl because I think so Lisa vocal in this so good she put so motion in that song her voice like honey
I love Tally, and I totally agree with what you all said afterward. We only pay to be entertained, not dictate their life. They are just human too. Tally has a great message. ❤

Yah chaesoo slay it.the unique vocal of BP.

Rosé voice so beautiful

Guys there are the uncensored versión of the songs!
I really wish hard to love was all acoustic. I just feel like it would have hit so much harder if it was
Also, the happiest girl hits different 😔😔
Everyone is praising Jisoo and Lisa's vocals in The happiest girl but I really loved Jennie's vocals .. it was short but it was too good for me
The songs on Apple Music and Spotify are all the explicit versions these TH-cam videos just censor the songs
Preach! The dating life in kpop and how it affects the "fans" ... it really bothers me. People just need to mind their own business.
Rosieeeeee 🥹❤️🔥
Hi Guys,
FYI. The Curse words are not beeped in real. You can hear it on Spotify. In this video you choosed to react they muted it.
I just noticed that hard to love is only Rosé… I feel so dumb!!🤡😅
Tally has an unexplicit version. It's an audio i think but that's what i listen to a lot recently lol

11:43 For tally the actual official song is not censored at all😢😢😢
Lisa's vocal
Lisa's vocal,rap + Jisoo's vocal in TALLY🔥
I think they (the lyric vid creator) censored it so they can monetize the video lol
Tally is not censored in the original song btw
you just listen to the not explicit version of Tally. 3 of their songs have Explicit content.

Tally was edited and censored by that color coded guy. It’s not censored actually.
For me the happiest girl was Jisoo's song
They released a censored and uncensored version of the album. You guys are listening to the censored version lol.

Hard To Love is my fave
I strongly disagree with the happiest girl thing, this song is really perfect with the four of em

I agree with the dating stuff, let em do what they want. It's even worse here in Japan where I live. It's the one thing with K-pop and J-pop I hate.
There is a curse word version the person who made the lyrics videos used the censord version
Btw the dating stuff around Jennie isn’t real
Jisoo really hits diff. The Happiest Girl
Anyone know if they have reacted to the nct dream glitch mode album?
Jisoo=Falsetto Queen❤❤❤
Hard to love should have been Rose's solo in my opinion
I agree with you I really loved it
I got to agree, ppl talk to much about jennie dating and her singing those lines just fits and the obsession fans and haters that want to bring her down for that. Also, I disagree with your intake of "the happiest girl" I need to hear Lisa and I love it plus jisoo got damn. Yes, 2 more songs was needed because the solo and ready for love in it was not it, It's a good album.
Ranking for me:
Typa girl (Lisa 🔥)
The happiest girl (dislike ballads but respect this one)
Tally 🔥
Shut down ( the rap)
Pink venom (I agree the last lines of the song should've been removed).
Ready for love ( lisa rap 🔥 but it was an okay )
Sometimes I don't understand your opinions, blackpink is not formed by two members
wow being pretty disrespectful to Jennie and Lisa there
