Is that quite a new concept? Makes a pretty good job. What did you work the ground down with after our is that an upcoming video? That's one hell of a rock you pulled up for only ploughing four inches deep!
We’ve had contractors refuse to plough these fields again due to rocks which was the reason for getting it. Think they are mainly a European thing but it’s just the way ploughing was done everywhere back in the day before everyone went to giant ploughs going as deep as possible. We tried a rotovator first but didn’t leave a great finish so used a power harrow which did an amazing job
@@sandersfarmvids have you tried discing instead of ploughing? Although I would think that plough would be quicker in the long run as discs would have to go over it at least twice?
Yes it’s an onland plough. You can go at a decent speed with it. Should have got a reversible though! You either have to reverse back up the field or open out from the middle which then leaves a bit of a lump where the furrows clash
Very interesting. We need that here in Ireland ! Stones and rocks are a big problem here also.
Great video guys! Keep it up with the great work!

Yes we’ve tried discing, wasn’t happy at the job it left. It was struggling to break up the clods
love valtra
How did the field turn out after? Were you happy with it?
Yes, it did a grand job. Field is growing lots of grass now
Am I right to think that’s an inland plough as opposed to in the furrow? What’s your output like? Must be good if you’re covering 3.5m

@@sandersfarmvids would you prefer a 5 furrow Reversible over it?
I would probably get the 8furrow reversible if I had my chance again. Was a lot more money though
