I have used some of your recipes in the past, and trusted you for this desert. I followed it to the letter! Long story short, it was a huge hit at our event, almost completely gone. I slightly cheated on this recipe and used white chocolate flavor cook and serve pudding instead of the custard and cream cheese instead of marscopone cheese. My family loved it so much they told me to make it that way EVERY time!! I'm sure it tastes different but still delicious! I love your recipes Natasha! ❤

This is a great recipe! After cooking my eggs for 10 minutes, they still smelled like raw eggs. So I added a splash of vanilla essence and cooked them a few minutes longer. Helped a lot!
I just made your tiramisu. Turned out absolutely perfect. Didn't have any rum so I used 1 tablespoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream to whip up the cheese. Used 3 tablespoons of Kahlua in the espresso coffee (just my preference over the flavor of rum) thank you for easy step by step recipes.
I have made this like three times already and this is a no-fail recipe! I usually don't have rum, but I add rum essence and it works beautifully! All my friends are mad about it! Thanks so much for a simple, easy and yet incredibly good recipe 💐💐💐💐💐

Absolute heaven! I'm a big fan of Tiramisu I made it for the first time and it is soooooo good! I didn't use dark rum I replaced it with more vanilla. My only advice would be use a good quality espresso or dark coffee because it really makes a difference in taste! Also, if possible let the Tiramisu sit in the fridge for 1-2 days it absorbs the ingredients better in my opinion and tastes better. But overall amazing recipe ❤️👌

I’m made this on Saturday and it turned out really delicious! I love it! I added a coffee non-alcoholic liqueur & vanilla extract along with rum to the espresso. I’m going to make it again when it runs out. 😋😊

This is such a great recipe! I’ve tried several different recipes for cream and this is by far the best. I made it today and even my 5 year old and husband loved it. My husband was quite surprised how good it was since he never liked tiramisu before. It looks like I’ll be making another one in a few days. :) Thank you for another great recipe!

Hi Natasha, made this today...chilling in the fridge...hope it turns out. I used arrowroot biscuits, could not find ladyfingers. Also, used cream cheese instead of marscapone, and amaretto instead of rum...hope it sets and turns out!

I have never made a dessert but with lockdown I have learnt how to bake breads/rolls/make pastas/experiment in the kitchen which has really increased my confidence!I made this Tiramisu recipe for my SIL 1st lunch at our house.It was an incredible hit!I made 2 trays.1 for the lunch party and 1 for my friend who loves desserts.Wow wow wow,I replaced the rum with vanilla essence and made it 2days ahead of time.It was the most incredible hit!There is just a tiny bowl left.Thank you Natasha!I will make the pavlova next as I dont want to waste the egg whites from the tiramisu recipe.Il keep you posted!

honestly, i tried making this 2 times, and it tasted delectable! 💫💫the whipping process is a bit complex though, i had to bring an ice bath and keep whipping.

Mascarpone is essentially the Italian version of cream cheese. At it’s core, it is made of whipped cream, stabilized with an acidic ingredient such as lemon juice or citric acid. Mascarpone cheese has a silkier consistency, is milder in flavor and has twice as much fat as cream cheese. In some cases, you can substitute with cream cheese like in our Tiramisu Yule Log but the flavor and texture will be different.

Tiramisu is my absolute favorite desert. I made this with my daughter in about 45 minutes last night. The hardest part was having the patience to leave it in the fridge over night. We just had our 1st piece and HOLY COW!!! If not the best, it is as good as the best I have ever had. We just followed the video and it was extremely easy and is now our go to desert. Every one of Natasha's recipes have been amazing. I am now making the best chocolate chip cookies, Tres Leche, Tomato Soup, etc.... I am now a better husband and Dad because of you Natasha :)

I LOVE Tiramasu!! Its probably my absolute favorite desert. I usually eat it till its gone. It looks to difficult for me to make. My local store has 1 lb pre packaged carton of it for 7 or 8 dollars. I don't think I could buy the ingredients for under 8.00 so I guess I'll stick with pre-made. Yours looks AWESOME!

We used golden rum but you can use dark rum. You can also substitute the rum with a little Grand Marnier, or amaretto. If you prefer to omit the alcohol completely, you can just leave out the rum or ad a little bit of of vanilla extract to taste. or even a little bit

Wonderful recipe, as always, thank you! One thing to note is that a "Classic" Tiramisu doesn’t use Heavy Cream, and instead uses Egg Whites. I love using heavy cream in this situation, but I'm torn to possibly try incorporating the whipped cream made from the cream...And making more cream to fold in, using the egg whites. I haven't seen anyone do this. I also substituted the Rum with Disaronno Amaretto. Keep up the incredible work and have a blessed day!

I pasteurized the yolks and then my egg whites, added yolks to the beat Marscapone and beat, then beat separately the whites, added them in to beat, then folded in my whipped 1 cup of heavy cream (I used 1/2 the amount of heavy cream). Seems thin, but maybe because of the warmth? Hoping I didn't make TiramiSoup. Have a nice night.

Hi!!! I'm so happy reading that tiramisù Is loved all over the world. Here, in Italy there are a lot of tiramisù version (with different cream or liquid to soak biscuits). You can do It adding fruit, beer, Nutella, changing biscuits also. There's a lot of version and your's amazing!

I made this tonight for my grandsons birthday. He loves tarimsu. I dont think I did it right, my filling was very very thin. I dont think I mixed the heavy whipping cream long enough, out of fear of not mixing it too much. It's in the fridge now, I guess I'll see what it looks like in the morning. Try with amarena cherry someday. Just replace the coffee with its syrup in the mascarpone and dip ladyfingers mixture of amarena's syrup. milk and a little rum (Stroh, what else) Decorate the top with some cherries. It will blow your mind (mouth).
I loved this recipe. First one i tried with 200 ml whipping cream. it was good. Second time tried with 400 ml whipping cream, but it was too runny and ladyfingers was coming above. My mascarpone is 400 gr by the way.

Oh Natasha, I discovered this video mid last year and have made several times, it was always a hit whenever I made it. It s so good !! I’m making one right now to take to my friend’s house tomorrow. I find that 4 yolks work better in my case, 6 yolks made the mixture really runny and I thought I messed up when I made my first tiramisu, the result was good.

You can always add some vanilla extract. Instead of rum.

I have never made a dessert but with lockdown I have learnt how to bake breads/rolls/make pastas/experiment in the kitchen which has really increased my confidence!I made this Tiramisu recipe for my SIL 1st lunch at our house.It was an incredible hit!I made 2 trays.1 for the lunch party and 1 for my friend who loves desserts.Wow wow wow,I replaced the rum with vanilla essence and made it 2days ahead of time.It was the most incredible hit!There is just a tiny bowl left.Thank you Natasha!I will make the pavlova next as I dont want to waste the egg whites from the tiramisu recipe.Il keep you posted!

Can cream cheese be used instead of mascopone? Love all your recipes Natasha!
Mascarpone is essentially the Italian version of cream cheese. At it’s core, it is made of whipped cream, stabilized with an acidic ingredient such as lemon juice or citric acid. Mascarpone cheese has a silkier consistency, is milder in flavor and has twice as much fat as cream cheese. In some cases, you can substitute with cream cheese like in our Tiramisu Yule Log but the flavor and texture will be different.

Tiramisu is my absolute favorite desert. I made this with my daughter in about 45 minutes last night. The hardest part was having the patience to leave it in the fridge over night. We just had our 1st piece and HOLY COW!!! If not the best, it is as good as the best I have ever had. We just followed the video and it was extremely easy and is now our go to desert. Every one of Natasha's recipes have been amazing. I am now making the best chocolate chip cookies, Tres Leche, Tomato Soup, etc.... I am now a better husband and Dad because of you Natasha :)

I LOVE Tiramasu!! Its probably my absolute favorite desert. I usually eat it till its gone. It looks to difficult for me to make. My local store has 1 lb pre packaged carton of it for 7 or 8 dollars. I don't think I could buy the ingredients for under 8.00 so I guess I'll stick with pre-made. Yours looks AWESOME!

This looks so good Natasha, though I have a question. If you're like me, and not a fan of alcohol, could you replace the rum with rum extract instead?
We used golden rum but you can use dark rum. You can also substitute the rum with a little Grand Marnier, or amaretto. If you prefer to omit the alcohol completely, you can just leave out the rum or ad a little bit of of vanilla extract to taste. or even a little bit

One thing to note is that a "Classic" Tiramisu doesn’t use Heavy Cream, and instead uses Egg Whites.
I love using heavy cream in this situation, but I'm torn to possibly try incorporating the whipped cream made from the cream...And making more cream to fold in, using the egg whites.
I haven't seen anyone do this.
I also substituted the Rum with Disaronno Amaretto.

I pasteurized the yolks and then my egg whites, added yolks to the beat Marscapone and beat, then beat separately the whites, added them in to beat, then folded in my whipped 1 cup of heavy cream (I used 1/2 the amount of heavy cream).
Seems thin, but maybe because of the warmth?

Hi!!! I'm so happy reading that tiramisù Is loved all over the world. Here, in Italy there are a lot of tiramisù version (with different cream or liquid to soak biscuits). You can do It adding fruit, beer, Nutella, changing biscuits also. There's a lot of version and your's amazing!

I Love your recipe. I never mess up. It came out great this is the 4th time I make Titamisu.
I made this tonight for my grandsons birthday. He loves tarimsu. I dont think I did it right, my filling was very very thin. I dont think I mixed the heavy whipping cream long enough, out of fear of not mixing it too much. It's in the fridge now, I guess I'll see what it looks like in the morning. Worse case scenario, I can always run to the store and get one from the bake shop. Here's to hoping it get firm overnight. Thanks for sharing your recipes with everyone.

Just replace the coffee with its syrup in the mascarpone and dip ladyfingers mixture of amarena's syrup. milk and a little rum (Stroh, what else)

I loved this recipe. First one i tried with 200 ml whipping cream. it was good. Second time tried with 400 ml whipping cream, but it was too runny and ladyfingers was coming above. My mascarpone is 400 gr by the way.

Oh Natasha, I discovered this video mid last year and have made several times, it was always a hit whenever I made it. It s so good !! I’m making one right now to take to my friend’s house tomorrow. I find that 4 yolks work better in my case, 6 yolks made the mixture really runny and I thought I messed up when I made my first tiramisu, the result was good.
