Good stuff. Yes, glad to see Dunne back. I think to be fair as much as the defender grabbed the neck of his shirt Jimmy is giving quite a lot back, so I think perhaps the ref, who really helped the game was just about right on that one too. I really hope Jimmy sits down and signs a deal now. This is his home. He is adored here. Yes he can probably get more money somewhere else, perhaps he would be part of a team higher up the league, perhaps he'd even get to fulfil a dream of some minutes in the Prem, but would he be happy? Yes, probably ecstatic! :) But I feel his career path as being part of the legend and fabric of growing this team, as being very much here.
What a result and the squad is now a lot stronger to call upon!
Great review as always and will be interesting to see where we are after the next 3 to 4 games. We are so close to the playoffs we’ve got to go for it! You Rssssss!
Edwards was man of the match for me. We bossed the entire match. Worth the drive from Dorset, bed by 1.30am. Come on you RRRs!!!!!
Dedication! Well played
Last night was a great marker of how we have grown as a team. Quality in the right areas, steel at the back and options off the bench. Joy to watch and let's keep it going R's.
Another great reaction mate, very informative as usual.
Thanks Steve!
Nice summary as usual...Edwards was a joy to watch...alot to like about this side now...kudos to the management.
Great insight,a few hundred grand is no deal.i hope we play united in the playoffs and jimmy heads in a winning goal.
a great performance, especially in the transitions! We STILL look so vulnerable when playing out from the back, and this causes us the usual heart stopping moments! Also, some of our comedy clearances were abysmal schoolboy stuff, a better team would have punished us. However, these are small issues, overall a great display! Onwards...!
I’ve been to a few matches this week as mates have sorted me out with free tickets, including Spurs vs Elfsborg and (say it quietly) Chelsea vs West Ham. All three home teams played like this from the back and had moments of panic. It actually made me relieved that it’s not just because we’re a Championship team 😅
saw you after the game walking down the stairs, great chap, was lovely meeting you!
And you my friend!
Madsen didn't make the bench. Shows the improvement in depth of options
Hi Conor. Great show as always. Our fans are talking about the possibility of making the play offs, wouldn't have dreamed this a couple of months ago. Just shows how far we've come under Marti. Come on, you rs.
Excellent comprehensive review here & greatly relieved Jimmy Dunne is still with us.With the overall depth of the squad increasing , Marti has many options .Beating Blackburn was pivotal. There is a growing air of healthy optimism in the squad now & I think we can now feel confident.
Very good, great summary and perspective, I’ve wanted to see Chair play at 10 for ages. I thought Blackburn looked strong and agree Edwards was immense, I hope his Dad can persuade him to stay! Great game and I loved that winner but the last 15 had me biting my fingernails.
Whatever happens this season I'm proud of them turning things around and playing like a team now
All I'm saying is right now its pretty nice being a Ranger's fan.
The 10. role is the only one that fits Chair perfectly, and I've been screaming for him to play there since Eze left us.
That allows Saito to be free to play in his best position down the left. Could possibly be the new Chair/Willock combination.
U R's 💙 🤍
great win ,Blackburn are no mugs
If qpr advances to the playoffs, the hidden card will be Yang Min-hyuk. He also did better when he started in Korea. He is a hard-working defense, soft, concise, and effective style for fast counterattacks.
Edwards is as classy as Glenn Roader 😢
Bang on the money as ever. I never tire of telling people that in mid November we were rock bottom and 5 points from safety. Upwardly mobile but still far from the finished article and without sounding a killjoy I don’t think the Play Offs would do us any favours this season, but next ……
Cantwell should change his name from todd to tom. In honour of his homage to tom daley. As Tom daley is about the person in the world to have had more dives.
😂😂
Great review important win this one….9 more points should be safe U Rsssss
Nobody mentions Willock Dykes Armstrong obviously not missed and good business by the club 👍⚽
Who?
im ever the pessimist and just want to get to 50 points. i hate being this way because we have shown we are a quality outfit....however we have a tough tough march coming up so the more points the better in feb .....! nardi has his doubters but he pulled off some brilliant saves to keep us at 1-0. great bounce back from 2 poor results tho.
3 more wins ive been doing a countdown since we needed 10. Your right 50 points anything after is a bonus 👍
After Coventry we get Derby and Pompey. Looking at their form I will be disappointed if we don’t get 6 points out of the next 3 games. Just 50 points for the year would be a disaster at this point.
Agree when we get to 50... they can get the sandals ready... swimming shorts will need to wait til at least 54 points.
Les would’ve been all over that Jimmy Dunne deal. lol
100% 😂
comment for algortihm ;)
Of course Rodney. Sure Stanley. But now Ilias claimed No. 10 as a position not just a number, against Blackburn. He seemed to thrive in the middle of the park. Now we have Saito, Smyth & Yang surely Chair should stay in that position now?
Anyone in the comments got a spare 10 million in their back pocket so we can sign Edwards? 🤞
