The most beautiful movie i ever saw. I’m rarely impressed and get bored quickly yet this novel and the movie i’ve read and watched countless times. Exquisite simply.
One of my favorite romantic movies. Just to add to the rhetoric, perhaps he notices her because she isn't malleable or influenced by the fact that he has plenty of money. She is her own person of that time and she stands apart from all the other women he has known in his past. Just saying....
Two strong-minded yet vulnerable people (vulnerable due to inner decency). The two points where they nearly kiss jump with energy. One of the best films I ever saw.
100 likes….some old dead poet once wrote, “ I could not love dear, so much; loved I not honor more.” I think of that quote when I watch Darcy….and Elizabeth in this scene. Deeply attached, emotional and in love yet…..not the right time. Later, their prayer will be answered!
She’s so ready for that kiss. He showed his strength though. And, then, when I ask you again, I will have already taken care of the offense that you have held out to me. What a man!
@crismillet62 My opinion is that you both have stated correctly. Few women would have been able to resist the proposal. It was Elizabeth's integrity and love of her sister that she stated the truth to Darcy. This would be a great 'book club' book to discuss with you ladies! Obviously, texting is not a great way for indepth discussions. One of the great love stories! ❤️
@@DiamondsRexpensiveVolume 2 Chapter 12 the tone of Darcy’s letter is harsher and given to Elizabeth on her walk alone the following morning by Darcy and not in the Collins home. Please read JA’s book for an in depth explanation as my review would be inadequate. Happy reading fellow JA student. This is my favourite movie portrayal of Elizabeth and Darcy (UK edition) and favourite book by JA ❤ I hope this is helpful to you ❤
I love this movie but sometimes they focused too much on Keira's face close up. That scene of her staring at herself in the mirror for 30 seconds was unnecessary and kept staring at herself even when Darcy was talking to her. That was the only part in the movie I didn't like.
I think she was looking deep within herself, very focused on her thoughts, and the absolutely huge row she had had with Darcy after he had declared his love for her. The fact that he wrote a letter to her to tell her his reasoning because he couldn't get the words out. But she's thinking of him, almost feels like she conjured him up out of thin air, it feels unreal, but there really is a letter that makes a huge change in their relationship.
compketely butxhered jane ausrens characteres. Elizabeth did not have feelings for mr Darcy at this time. Thats what the whole story is about, Mr Darcy later on chnges because of Elizabeths strong words,
This is sad but as much as Mr. MacFadyen didn't like this role it is obvious that he never looked better. So trim & poised then as Mr. Darcy & later in life a chubby donut who did sex scenes with aging hags. The standards Darcy imposed on Elizabeth that make her 'appear insufficient' should alone disqualify him as any suitable husband material. Elizabeth should seek enough wealth to afford a change in America. Why waste her assets on someone cruelly disparaging her worth as a human being let alone as a woman?
Insults her to hell and back, and then says "I love you" 😂
I'd rather live in modest circumstances than live with a man who was such an absolute bore.
Yeah, the very 1st thing I noticed! Inferior by birth, he said!!
👍👍👍👍
"I do not deny it", those words felt heavy, and showed to Elizabeth mr. Darcy true colors, he was man enough to admit what he did.

My favorite movie of all time.
Absolute perfection and beauty
Me too ❤

He did have a good voice for this, especially as we hear his voice as she reads the letter
Love, love, love his voice.
Darcy desperately wants to kiss her…. But he realizes that it’s a bad idea
He wasn’t brave enough.
It would have been an impropriety. She wanted to kiss him too!
@@MsEldee oooh that kills me- and you know by the way she acted after he left she wanted him to you know she did…🥺 cringe cringe cringe oh

The beautiful couple all the times in the best romantic work of art in cinema.
In the book he leaves her with wishes for her health and happiness....so a kind departure

AMAZINGLY written
Love this movie, Kiera Knightley is excellent as Elizabeth, great actress. ❤
The sexual tension was palpable especially with both their longing facial expressions.
Charolette…a masterful treasure in this film.
Yes, sensible and very sweet actress.
Passions running high. Few women would have turned him down. He was so rich and handsome. Oh Elizabeth what have you done?

Well, he did start the proposal by insulting her... 😂

The way darcy gives her his note in the movie is so much more civilized compared to how he does it in the book lmao
What does he do in the book?

Most ardently...
Quite stirring.
Absolutely phenomenal scene.
Man don't feel love , only desiree . Alright????
amo esse filme🥰
I need a man like this
Do they even exist? I wonder...
All the great men in these love stories are written by women so doubt they exist in real life. 😄
Everyone of us needs s a man like Mr Darcy. But, where to find such a person??
For that you have to be the girl like Elizabeth
Without question, the best adaptation of this novel❤❤❤❤
Ótimas atuações! Adoto essa cena.
In every love story I pictured him and us together. Now never again he chose someone else. God help me 😢
good movie many lessons
He's so pretty.
Exacto 👌 ahí cambia la cosa

His proposal: I’m willing to overlook your inferiority by birthright 🙄
Does he hear what she is saying.. or has he become deaf 😂😂😂
Film mogę oglądać codziennie
Cam is charging me for breathing and using my family's resources. But the falafel man is free for the others to see while they were at work.
Why can’t God put these two people together?

Which is how Austen wrote it!
Cam is not in her own position.
This is sped up. 👎👎👎
Be grateful you get to view it for free. It costs money.
Why does she always keep her mouth OPEN?
To cool her ever- heating brain, maybe
