Depending on Ware and the other young guys’ development, as well as the return for trading Jimmy Butler, Miami is looking to be a very attractive destination for 2026 free agency. That has to be on Pat Riley’s mind now.
Spo is a defensive-minded coach. He never plays rookies. The fact that Ware was able to be in the starting lineup means he worked on/ improved on what the coaches saw early up to half of the season (foul prone, bites on all fakes, P&R screening defense, setting screens, etc.) AND ofcourse the undenialble talent.
I'm biased as someone who was high in Ware early. Early mock drafts had him going in the mid 20's or later even (while also questioning his "motor"), so I thought the Cavs might have a chance at him... when they do a re-draft in a few years, I think he'll be a top 5 player in retrospect.
Been saying that he should have started day 1. Only reason he is doing what he is doing, is cause he is getting more minutes. Niko needs to play the 3. Tall front line. Why is this so hard to understand? My goodness. Let them 5-Ware, 4-Bam, and 3-Niko.
Niko at the 3 for sure…if Spo allows Niko to go to another team without trying him exclusively at the 3 his natural position then that would be another situation like Michael Beasley and I would lose all confidence in Spo as “arguably one of the best coach in the league”
Well. The only way you get timing is by actually playing actual nba minutes. It's okay that he looked out of place. He's a rookie. He needs to learn. He needs to take his lumps early
Other then ware at the five the rest of the starting line up will be positionless. Bam can play 4 & maybe three jovic can too. Herro can play 1 or 2 jaime can play one or two.. right now we need a player who can average at least 7apg , round 15ppg, and a solid bench. We will be good with that
Says who? Heat fans have complained for years about us not having any size we were consistently bullied by other teams (especially on the boards in late game situations) because we had a 6'5 PF
Spo will eventually come to accept that small ball is dead but man is he resistant 😂 bring on the bam niko ware lineups with Tyler as the shortest player on the court I’m here for it
We complained about Bam's size because every other position outside of Jimmy was lacking for years. It wouldn't have been so bad if we had big guards. Miami took their time with Ware because he didn't understand the defense. People just want Spo and the rest of the staff to rush him in and don't want to understand the ins and outs. I'm seeing trade Bam stuff and y'all are just blinded by new things. They can both grow together. Ware is more of an offensive player naturally Bam had to grow into that just a down year. The new offense got all of Miami's “mid-range” players playing out of rhythm this year. TRADE TERRY PLEASE
Amen on all of this. Bam isn’t a natural offensive player and we know this. Can we have a conversation about whether Bam is a true max player? Certainly. But we definitely shouldn’t be talking about trading Bam. We need that defensive combination of him and ware going forward. Bam is going to need an offseason to work with so and ware on how the offensive component is gonna fit. What the Heat need is to find a true backcourt partner next to Herro no shorter than about 6’5 and they need to find an athletic wing at the 3. Once Jimmy is gone this roster will start to make a lot more sense and I think it’s fair to attribute the iffy roster construction to a lot of guys not being able to get in rhythm too.
This is why I sub to both channels... ACTUAL in depth basketball content outside of only talkin bout drama & the big market teams. ESPN & mainstream networks could learn from it.
Bam, Ware, and Jovic should be our 3,4, and 5. Jovic should pretty much bring the ball up to set up the offense. He is our best point guard. Spo is very slow to make changes. Thanks for the review.
Can you do a video on the odd case of Duncan Robinson? He looks like he got better in multiple facets of his game but he became somehow less lethal than when he was just a pure shooter.
As a professional coach, Spo needs to put his best 5 on the court which included Niko @ the 3 ..Spo is almost immaturely stubborn with highly skilled big young guys like how he handled Michael Beasley
The "truth" of all this is, Jimmy Butler is a double agent for team owners. He's going to end the "player empowerment" era by being the biggest B in the league. Man, I wish there were odds for that, I'd bet every single dollar I can get my hands on... Think about it, a one-time payment for $160m from all the owners is a small price to pay in order for them to GOUGE the player's association for the next era of basketball. What era is that you say? THE SPORTS BETTING ERA, STUPID!
Bam is not a 4. He is a 5. A high energy 5 that doesn't fit this current NBA and that is okay. Ware is an Isaiah Hartenstein that can shoot. He seems very disciplined and can pass a little. His ceiling is like a KAT type or a young Brook Lopez. Unfortunately, Bam and him don't fit on the same floor. They just don't now... if they traded for a guy like Zion Williamson they fit together. Sorry but Bam as a player/archetype of how he plays does not fit in this league anymore. If he molded himself into a more Draymond Green type than maybe he fits but noooo. If Ware becomes anything, even at least a Myles Turner you trade Bam for a shooting/athletic 4 man.
Youre so wrong you dont even make any sense, bam has always been a 4 everything about his game is how a pf would play from his shot selection to his defense prowess, the heat made him that hybryd pf/center they turned bosh into because of the system they have
@majorhurricane3712 lol! And what can Bosh do that Bam can't do... ? SHOOT! I'm sorry but if you can't shoot you are a liability. Bam is really good but he doesn't bring anything else to the floor. He isn't a reliable double double guy. He isn't a reliable scorer inside the paint due to his size. His 3 point shot is nonexistent and he isn't a good enough passer to give him the ball in the high post to initiate offense like a Draymond Green or an Isaiah Hartenstein and you are trying to convince me he is some hybrid Bosh? He is no where near Bosh. He wishes he was Bosh. He is a modern day poor man's Ben Wallace with zero amount of the intensity.
He looks incredibly comfortable and his game is extremely fluid. such a great talent for Miami.
Exactly what I thought... the words incredible and extreme came to mind right away... and the word hyperbole too 😂😂
Depending on Ware and the other young guys’ development, as well as the return for trading Jimmy Butler, Miami is looking to be a very attractive destination for 2026 free agency. That has to be on Pat Riley’s mind now.
if Pat Riley does anything offseason

Herro played, Bam played, Precious played, JJJ played, Justise played, Ware is playing. He plays rookies all the time
@@PastelitoPapiEach player you mentioned is a first round talent that filled an area of need on the team. Their roles were also extremely limited.
@@PastelitoPapinone of those players you mentioned started in their rookie season

He usually inserts them gradually, which makes sense as that builds their confidence slowly. Spo likes to develop and integrate.
We knew he was going to be good, and we knew he was going to do extremely well with that whole heat culture stuff.
lead us Kel’el!!!! thank god Spo is finally starting him

Ware was lost on D for awhile it's clips out there you can see he just lost floating in the lane

That size bullying in the 2023 finals should have changed him permanently

So good to see him succeed as an IU fan
He's a keeper
Only heat fans knew he was a perfect fit.
I’m happy to see TH-camr talking positive about the heat, all I’ve heard is how Miami is terrible ands falling about
They think our team didnt exist before butler and wont exist after him😂
What are people's thoughts on a Jimmy to Sacramento for like Demar and one of their young guys like Devon Carter or maybe like a Malik monk and stuff
We have another one in pelle Larsson and kashad Johnson stay tuned

My waiver wire goat ☝️
Whiteside 5.0 Lets go... JIMMY thank you Heat fans would like thank you. But we movin on.
Get rid of Jimmy for a young wing or guard with potential and this team is in a really good space
Naw I think they need to trade for a defensive point guard and a backup big
Ware plays better with Jovic and Tyler, not Bam. Not so far. But yes, he is the best rookie by far this year. Unstoppable in the pnr.
That’s because bams hating on him so he keeps shooting when he knows he has no bag but ware does
Can you do a video on the odd case of Duncan Robinson? He looks like he got better in multiple facets of his game but he became somehow less lethal than when he was just a pure shooter.
Can't tell me yall didn't think that was Wemby at first in the thumbnail 😂💀
They calling Ware Temu Wemby from when he balled out on him a few days ago 😂
Talk about Wemby and Chet, this guy is a unicorn too…
Honestly we should be mainly worried about draft picks and cap space for jimmy. We can always trade for a good veteran player

beasley was bust get over it
@@11GWBeasley just couldn't get his mind right he was a good player
Isn't Dalton Knech rookie of the year?
Miami always find good players in the draft. Watch out if they trade Jimmy Butler for a really good player.
No Dalton ain't roy
I think Ware and Buzelis are similar players, potential wise etc. Differents is- one team knows what they are doing, second doesn't!
i thought wembey got traded to the heat lol
#2 swear he's D. Wade lol
Kinda like Cleveland with Mobley
He looks like wemby 😅
No bam needs to be traded for a guard and a stretch big.
Roty please 🙏
why in every video mentioning the rookies, Wells is always direspected, brushed over
What you mean saved? He's a rookie

The Heat traded Thomas Bryant to give Ware more minutes.
