@@Ashnflash but that was a set with quality vehicles, sure darkseid’s was nothing to ride home about but still fit him and the javelin was amazing a very needed in lego form as staple of the JL.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since LEGO DC first came out. I still remember getting the Superman Lex Luthor mech and being super excited to build it.
I just want to say, thank you Ashnflash for being the only Lego TH-camr to really cover the DC sets. They are my main focus of sets and I own 95% of them. It’s great because you are a fellow Canadian who cares about them like I do and always makes great rant videos that describes my frustrations aswell. Lego has been releasing great DC sets in the last 6 months and if the Tower of Fate rumour is true, this year should be good too. Edit: I just ordered the 2013 Arkham (one of the few sets I’m missing) on bricklink yesterday so I’m pretty hyped
Cool list, but I think the Javelin and the Cyborg Helicopter sets deserved to be on this list. They gave us some of the most unique builds and figures from the entire theme imo.
Interesting list. If it were my list I would've also included these ones that have both solid builds and figures: - 76096: Krypto Team-Up with Lobo's bike. - 76097: Lex Luthor's mech. I would take this over the one you chose, even if you throw out Batman. - 76120: Batwing with Shazam & Gordon. Best Batwing reminiscent of the '89 movie, great GCPD car. - 76149: 1989 Batmobile takes the 👑. I loved the 2018 wave of JLA sets if it wasn't obvious. Honestly, Lego has improved so much with time that I also have to mention that I love and own most of the modern minifig scale (non 4+) batmobiles since the Kryptonite Interceptor (Batman v Superman).
Cool list, a prove that DC haves so many potential, so good constructions and so many excellent minifigures that we didn't gave their respective value before. This is the year we have to redeem with LEGO DC and demonstrate our interest in this line. My own top list according to the sets I've been getting through the years are: 1.- Black Manta Deep Sea Strike (2015) 2.- Darkside Invasion (2015) 3.- Speed Force Freeze Pursuit (2018) 4.- Batcave Clayface Invasion (2019) 5.- Brainiac Attack (2015) 6.- Killer Croc Sewer Smash (2016) 7.- Lex Luthor Mech Takedown (2018) 8.- Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas (2015) 9.- Batwing and The Riddler Heist (2019) 10.- Wonder Woman Warrior Battle (2017) Honorable mentions to Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (2015), The Batboat Harbor Pursuit (2015), Scarecrow Harvest of Fear (2016), Mobile Bat Base (2020) and Batsub and the Underwater Clash (2019).
I see the joker funhouse on the thumbnail and I couldn’t be happier, I used to be a huge Batman fan and that’s one of my favorite sets ever (mostly due to nostalgia but still, a great set nonetheless)
Man I completely agree on that last one, that set completed my Harley collection as it's the only way to get her as Harleen, I remember skipping it as a kid and I felt horrible for years, thanks for making me remember one of my biggest accomplishments...
The Arkham Asylum is definately the best set out there! It holds up just fine today and will forever be impressive looking. I have been able to make it from my own parts collection with a few small changes and since then; I've expanded it to be 4x the size. It's now on hinges so it's an enclosed building but if you want to play with it than you can swing the sides to make 1 very long facade! :)
This is the most nostalgic Lego TH-cam video I’ve ever seen. As a kid I would look threw the Lego catalogs and see most of these sets and dream of having them. Also 5 of these sets I owned myself. Thanks for making me have those good nostalgic feelings!
I'm so pleased you put the Power Armour Lex set highly up on your list. In 2012 when this set released, I was instantly obsessed with it. I remember it being sold out in a lot of stores nearby to me, but one day when I went grocery shopping with my parents I was overjoyed to see they had it in stock. 10 years on, I look back so fondly on this set, and it is probably my favourite ever Lego set. I still remember building it, and playing for hours with the 3 minifigures, and even lending them to my brother since it was such a big deal that I had minifigures of Superman, Lex and Wonder Woman. I'm totally with you, that set is one of the best DC sets in history!
It's crazy to look back on the DC sets that we used to get! DC was my favorite LEGO theme when I was little and seeing some of the sets on this list is so nostalgic for me! 🤩 Thank you for always loving and talking about LEGO DC even though it has been a little lack-luster in the past couple years! It's good to see that not everyone has given up hope for the theme! Keep doing what you're doing, and happy 10th anniversary of LEGO DC! 🥳

Arkham Asylum Breakout (my favourite and only DC set) is what I hope the rumoured Tower of Fate to be like. The set has plenty of room to pose the figures (which has a good selection of them), is of a good size and displays well, interesting build techniques and surprisingly very modular (you can make it a corner build instead of a fully straight structure). On a side note, I use the Mr Freeze prison room to store all the weapons when they're not in use (pretending that they've been confiscated from the inmates).
My favorite DC Super Heroes sets are 10) Green Lantern VS Sinestro 9) Brainiac Attack 8) Lex Luthor Mech Takeout 7) The Riddler Chase 6) The Batcave: Clayface Invation 5) Arkham Asylum Breakout 4) Scarecrow Harvest of Fear 3) The Penguin Face Off 2) The Joker Steam Roller 1) Jokerland
i like the batgirl minifig with the steamroller but the new chomping motorcycle thing for joker that came with harley quinn is probably better in my opinion
I don't collect LEGO Batman but I actually have/heard of most of those sets which goes to show how much LEGO cares about DC. DC doesn't get nearly as much love as Marvel which is sad.
Tell me about it. Lego loves Harry Potter and Ninjago and has recently been giving Marvel a lot of love. While we do get some really good sets from time to time (and the Lego Batman movie sets were fantastic) Lego doesn’t care about DC
When I was 6 in 2014 I had the other 3 Lego sets the penguin, manbat helicopter, and Riddler vs batmobile sets and the last one (my most favorite was #9 on the list)

I remember when I was younger and finally got the Arkham Asylum-set. Its still standing in my room, though it lacks a few pieces.
Not a big DC fan but I just got hit by some nostalgic vibes from this list .
Dynamic duo funhouse escape and superman vs power armer lex were my first Lego superhero sets and there still some of my favorite sets.
1:45 i love that bat buggy
I just finished rebuilding my power armor lex!!!!! Thanks for making me remember!!
Glad I own Jokerland, such an amazing set!
Amazing video
I miss these so much
Dude I just got JokerLand for my birthday this year. And bro it is amazing 😮
pre 2020 dc sets were so amazing, the post 2020 dc sets have sucked
Idk, some sets are really good, its just 2 much batman and 2 little sets
I wish LEGO did a Teen Titans subtheme, we still need raven, kid flash super boy etc.
This was a great list
I don't collect LEGO Batman but I actually have/heard of most of those sets which goes to show how much LEGO cares about DC. DC doesn't get nearly as much love as Marvel which is sad.
Tell me about it. Lego loves Harry Potter and Ninjago and has recently been giving Marvel a lot of love. While we do get some really good sets from time to time (and the Lego Batman movie sets were fantastic) Lego doesn’t care about DC
Love that I have all the top 3
Where's Javelin-7? It's a really really good set, one of the best. Ship looks amazing. And the figures are great.
Love the videos
AshnFlash i think we should get Teen titans sets because i would buy them all
Yesss
DC is my favorite team I been getting sets for years and I wish DC comes back
10 years and we haven’t gotten a GCPD set
When I was 6 in 2014 I had the other 3 Lego sets the penguin, manbat helicopter, and Riddler vs batmobile sets and the last one (my most favorite was #9 on the list)
Nice list have a couple of these sets my self and i am not a huge lego DC set fan.
4 and 1 are one of my most fav of all time
i remember getting jokerland 2 years ago. i really wanted it and would constantly ask my dad to get it for me, sadly, now its broken and i cant seem to find starfire or beast boys head-
its still one of my favorite sets to this very day!
Just finally bought the Asylum set for 280 new. Such a rad set
I personally feel that DC Speedster Pursuit should be on the list for the figures alone
That steam roller I have wanted since I saw it in my Lego magazine
I wish in number 2 it had all the teen titans excluding cyborg
