One thing that could also be a reference. Is the TV brick from the 4+ Arkham last year with the Joker on the security camera. Could be a reference to his recordings in Arkham Asylum. But did I miss anything else?
None that I could see. Great video. I watch and like everyone of your videos that I find. Keep up the great work!
I just remembered this but, doesn’t the Batgirl minifig from the Joker Steam Roller in 2014? Does that Batgirl look like the one from Arkham Knight?
@@spencisknight9612 Interesting thought. But that doesn't really line up timeline wise with Knight releasing in 2015. They would've had to have given LEGO pics a year in advance
@@justinlegoproductions8449 If they created a new piece I'd agree. But idk bud
Ashnflash oh yeah. I felt really smart for a second. But I just looked up the minifig and the batgirl and they have the same belt, cape, and everything! See for yourself.
Fun fact: The stubble Batman face used for the Arkham Knight Batman is actually a reference to how Batman grows stubble in Arkham Asylum to show how much time has passed in the game
And Yet it always night time.
AniMedia Plays you’re not the only one bro😅😂😂
@@gammelgaddan_jr870 I mean in Arkham knight it was confirmed but in the others it wasnt
@@AniMediaYT I mean, I think sometimes it's kinda bright because in Arkham knight when you play as Gordon for just like 2 minutes I think its bright but not like a sunny morning, like the sun passing through the gray clouds but it could be night in that scene, but I still agree that most of the time its dark
I kinda think the best way they showed time passing in that game is how Joker looks healthier and healthier throughout the game because he’s getting stronger in Batman’s mind.
I think a more direct reference to the Arkham series in LEGO DC Super-Villains is that they got Tom Kane to voice Commissioner Gordon, who hadn't voiced him since Arkham Asylum.
Ya him and riddler. I just didn't mention everyone
Same with batman and joker, although they had the same voice actors in BTAS
He didnt voice him in City?
@@Marceilus Nope, David Kaye did.
I may be a year late but the VA for Strange in AC also voices him in Dc Supervillains
Even in the character encyclopedia it states the Robin is a reference to the Arkham City Robin.
The 2018 one right?
I remember that lego Batman 2 had black and white posters, just like Arkham City.
Nooooooooooo. I forgot about that 😭
@@Ashnflash It's okay Ash. We forgive you.
Also in Lego Batman 2 the Joker Robot may be a reference to when Oracle started listing off random things that she thought Batman had to deal with, one of those being a Giant Joker Robot, but this could be just a coincidence
@@papyrusgaming4820 holy freak how the hell did i not remember that
You're a goddamn genius
Drinking game: take a shot every time he says ripped right from
I have liver failure
🤣
Instructions unclear: I’ve got liver cancer
Dead
Maybe we’ll eventually get a UCS of the Arkham Asylum batmobile. I’d love that so much
Same. Definitely my favourite batmobile
I’d prefer one of the actual asylum
Or Arkham knight
Great video! Tho Aaron Cash is not an original character to the Arkham series. He comes from a comic called "Arkham Asylum: Living Hell" which has no relation with the Arkhamverse of the games or tie-ins to it other than having Arkham at the name.
Yeah lego has made lots of references but i wish we could get an arkham set so much
Really technically the rc batmobile is
For reallll
EpicGamer Legend not really, the batmobile Is pretty different to the ones in the Arkham games
Yeah the most expensive set could be the funhouse brawl from Arkham city with Batman, joker, tons of thugs, Mr. Hammer, and a joker titan thug
As much as I want an arkham lego set I dont think lego would made a set based on the game due to their age rating
Reminds me of the Arkham Asylum set I have from 2006. I was obsessed with the Lego Batman theme when I was little
Avery the Cuban-American I’m jealous. Original Batman sets are so expensive now a days, even without figures or used.
same hell I still am.

Ash: I’ll just play the audio
TH-cam: Ad plays
Me: Interesting..... Wait what does this have to do with LEGO Batman? Oh it’s an ad.
Ash: I thought today w should take a break from the reviews and become a little bit like WatchMojo
Me: Hello and welcome to AshnMojo
Lol
Yes super pieces yes
Hello There
I rather watch AshnMojo.
@@SuperiorSquid general Kenobi
I think the Killer Croc from the set that you showed(not from Lego Batman game) looks more like the Killer Croc from Arkham Knight rather than the Asylum version.
Just the Arkham series in general I think
Ashnflash yeah. But you have to admit: Arkham knight Croc looks wayyyy different than Asylum Croc.
Isaiah Compagne Yeah it makes sense
Love the Arkham series ... wish they made more content within that universe...
I wish the Arkham games weren’t just based on long nights
This was a really cool video idea
Love your profile picture nightwing is my favorite superhero
Genico 17 thanks man, nightwing is my fav too
I agree.
I wish they would make at least one usc set for it.
5:09 going back to the riddler trophies, it was also referenced in lego dimensions in the level Riddle-Earth as a Minikit collectible also to me there is a lot of hints to the arkham series in lego DC supervillains like all the riddles there are for the file finder challenges and all the other ones.
Imagine disliking the video because I can’t
I personally wouldn't describe some of these as references, due to the fact that they are so different. For example the Batmobile you show at the end
This is a really cool idea for a video, would like to see more of these. Nice job as always
The new cape design could actually be a reference to the Dark Knight trilogy where Batman is seen gliding through the city
I think when i get the joker trike set, I'll only build the trike and use the parts from the set and my own to make a kind of accurate arkham knight batmobile
I really hope they make a scarecrow minifigure that looks kind of like the Arkham games at least
I love anything you make about the Arkham game series
We need arkham sets
You're really stretching it with Croc.
The Lego Batman movie croc looks like New 52 Killer Croc. I distinctly remember him having that crocodile face in Red Hood and the Outlaws (as well as the arm restraints).
The videogame Croc is your stereotypical Killer Croc look. Red Eyes and dark green skin. Arkham Croc never had that.
The only one I'm willing to believe to be Arkham influenced is the big fig with the flat face. Then again that v-shaped scale forehead is ALSO a thing in the comics (it's almost as if Arkham Asylums Killer Croc was basically just directly adapted from the comics :/ )
There is one in here that’s wrong. Aaron Cash debuted in 2003 in Arkham Asylum: Living Hell #1. He existed before the Arkham games
Aaron Cash first appeared in 2003. He was a well established character by the time Arkham Asylum came out.
This is the best LEGO channel by far. You definitely have the best video ideas and reviews. Keep up the great work!
Aw thank you so much :)
Happy you made this video before Screen Rant...
😂
Thanks for the heart
the pathway to Arkham asylum in lego batman 2 dc superheroes unite is a direct comparison to the opening of Batman Arkham Asylum.
The Arkham series didn't invent Aaron Cash. He's been a character since 2003
I love the Arkham games
It's a shame we didn't get the batmobile/tank in lego form. I like the idea of this series Ash!
Another “reference” in the LEGO DC Super Villains game is that you can eject out of the Batmobile just as you would in the Arkham Knight game. Then you could continue to glide with similar glide mechanics like the Arkham games.
Is that the Arkham city theme I hear in the background
Gotta love these vids.
Watch.Mojo.Watches.This.
Top 10 Watchmojo references
We need a ucs set based on the Arkham games
UCS Arkham Batmobile?
UCS Arkham City?
UCS ARKHAM ASYLUM??? (Would be creepy af if they made a reference to Jason Todd being held by Joker, maybe the wheelchair Easter egg)
1:29 Hold up, does that mean Lego Batman 2 is a prequel to Batman Arkham City? If so my replay of the Arkham series is gonna go a little differently
I just played arkham city today! Batman just got some of joker in him! Excited to see what happens tommorow
I love this video!!
It's good for something different!
GREAT JOB I LOVE IT
Great video but at 5:45 Aaron cash was in a comic from 2003 I think where his hand is bitten off by killer croc and they brought him into the Arkham asylum game.
Yes, Arkham Asylum: Hell on Earth
@@jackjaws thank you couldn’t put my finger on which comic it was just knew it was from around 2003 think it says on his Arkham bios
Nice video! I always love this channel. Keep up the good work :)
I can’t wait to get the sets!!!! Also please make a Arkham Series 3! I know you’ve used a lot of characters but everyone would love it.
Maxime Fournier series 3? lol
I definitely wanna do more
Really cool video
Oooo where are those capes from?
For Batman's 85th anniversary, and asylums 15th
They should go all out and here's what I'd love to do:
Ucs batcave with a couple thousand pieces. The minifigs will be based of hush comic. Like batman and Catwoman, nightwing, superman etc. Also hush is included. Storage for batsuits and pre existing batmobiles. Various trophy's like t rex. Penny and Jason Todd memorial
Batcave attachment that is an armoury including a capullo batman, court of owls and talons. And the Thrasher armour
Ucs Wayne manor (it's modular) and can be attached to the batcave. The minifigs are based of 1970s. So it has a detailed blue and grey batman along with robin. Bruce Wayne. Ra's Al ghul, red hood etc.
Modular Arkham asylum, it will release areas of Arkham island from the game to have a complete deluxe model. So one set is intensive treatment. The minifigs are based off Arkham asylum the game. The minifigs included are based off the scene. The gardens have poison ivy. The patient centre has Titan joker. A smaller set would include a batmobile and batwing.
There would then be normal sets based of Arkham in minifigures, and what structure it is but doesn't need to be explicit. So Arkham city joker steel mill or stuff like that.
Arkham origins and knight get normal sets too, one for knight is cloudburst and batmobile.
They could start new ideas like Gotham modulars and maybe a Gotham like Ninjago city. Making it up for how lackluster DC has been in Lego recently. And provides adult collectors with new sets to come like modular GCPD or clocktower. Iceberg lounge.
Yes yes yes, I love the Arkham series, I finished all 3 and I'm currently Playing Arkham origins!
Awesome vid
The Arkham series I love...duh...
My favorite is Orgins
I'd love to see the Arkham Batmobiles as sets. But the theme I want the most to see is Batman TAS.
I don’t know how many references there are but could you look and see how many Arrowverse references there are.
LEGO Batman 3 has a dlc pack for arrow
Awesome video idea.
Literally any piece: *exists*
Ashnflash: It'S sO cLeArLy A rEfErEnCe To ThE aRkHaM gAmEs
This man pulled have of his crap out of his rear
The Mr. Freeze you showed I always thought looked like the Arnold Schwarzenegger Mr. Freeze from batman and robin.
I'm starting to like DC now
Nayden DR Studios good job.
You should watch the dc animated movies because they are so good, except from the killing joke, read the comic version of that instead
In Lego DC super villains, Solomon Grundy is able to have an ability where you swing ball and chains just like in Arkham city.
ooh this will be interesting
Would love to see a video like this for other movies, games, and franchises. I'd especially love to see one of all LEGO set references to other original I.P.s, like the Aqua Raiders skeleton in an Atlantis set or the map of Voya Nui in one of the City boats.
6:09 I'm pretty sure it's because Batgirl had that color because it was meant to be lighter flesh color printed on purple like Catwoman in that movie
I'm pretty late and idk if someone brought it up but one tie in that ended up being accidental would be how in arkham asylum oracle mentions the possibility of a giant joker robot, which immediately made me think of Lego batman 2, even if it did come out 2 years or so after asylum did.
I wasn't expecting this...but i love it!!!
There's such a long list of figures and builds designed for the lego games that would have been incredible to get irl
4:37 killer crocs legs are not orange they are blue
Arkham is the best game series I’ve ever played.
2:34 it's also a reference to the schwarzy version
Jojo!
I knew those LEGO designs are references from the Arkham games, I'm not crazy. 🤪
Great video dude!
I like the stubble doe...
It's the dark skin colour that just doesn't work
Majorly regret getting rid of my nurse Harley Quinn now :(
Arkham city has to be one of my favorite video games of all time!
That bat mobile though!
Cool video idea
Indeed
Imho I feel like using voice actors isn’t really a reference
Getting specific people who have only voiced characters in the games. I think that's a reference 🤷♂️
@@MonsieurEldritch Arleen Sorkin was Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum and BTAS, before deciding to retire the character. Tara Strong (who voiced Batgirl in BTAS) picked it up afterwards doing an impression of Arleen in most of Harley's later appearances. You can't say that the movies "Batman & Harley Quinn" or "The Killing Joke" are also references to Arkham City because they use the voice actors. It's just that casting directors prefer to use the same actors because of how good they are in their role.
Yeah exactly
You are right
@@Ashnflash mate that means btas is a reference to the Arkham games
You should do injustice
Love the Batman content dude
The Gotham part of Lego DC Supervillain's Open World takes quite a few ques from the Gotham seen in Arkham Knight, at least visually.
I don't get why Lego doesn't make sets based of the arkham games for asylum you could have a set for each building (medical centre, penitentiary etc) like the hogwarts buy each part and put it all together with its own minifig based of all the bossbattles. and a batmobile with the gates and the hitchhykers maybe escaped patients sign. for city have the Mr freeze lab, iceberg lounge and theatre. and knight the batmobile and the tank varients as well as gcpd and Wayne tower the possibility are endless. And the batting that can hold the Batmobile like in knight
Probably because they have to get permission from Rocksteady.
They didn't make sets for the Arkham series because Arkham Knight was rated M/PEGI 18.
Another more obscure reference is that the fact that the promotional art for LEGO Batman 2 was based on the promotional stuff for Arkham City with the "black-and-white except for one color" style.
They could make a UCS Arkham Batmobile as part of the 18+ line
Love your content
The last blue nightwing figure was a identic to the suit from batman arkham knight
4:34 you said orange legs , there’s no orange on killer crock
his prison shorts from asylum
i love how these lego games are full of cool references
Hey this is awesome! What part did you use to put his head in? Can’t find that anywhere
officer balls
You could swap the arms from the Lego Batman Movie!Killer Croc with that Sewer Smash!Killer Croc.
Ash, another weird thing is whenever I go to download either Lego Batman 3 or Arkham Knight in my ps4 it gives me the option to download the dlc for the other game. For example when I downloaded Arkham Knight. The Lego Batman 3 dlc showed up
Dude you have got to start doing custom sets! You are so awesome and my favorite TH-cam and I would love to see your design for a arcade set. Keep building!
5:26 why didn't they do this WHY
1:10 it starts
I actually had an idea for a Shrek mini figure series on my channel and actually don’t do one because I am working on it.
Yeah he shouldn’t
Rufus Marlow did you reply to your own comment?
Xpsquid yes 😀😀😀🤪
Cool idea
Ya
Either then the batmobile one which is an eehh, the rest is almost definate a referance
The mechanic of the Batman glide too is Very Arkham style
Cool video Ash :)
Idk if anyone has noticed but in lego dc villages the exact same dinner you start on in Arkham knight can be found in Gotham and is where the condiment king side mission takes place
Wow, I didn't realize that Legos placed so many references to the Arkham video game series. I wish I could play them but I am only 12 years old. I'm aloud to play Arkham Origins, but it's not for Xbox one :(.
Great video by the way :-)
now your 13 :)
@@VaultCreeper yup
@@whatamidoing5656 :)
You should do more video that are connect to certain stuff like this
I love the idea of this video it’s amazing
I own that mister freeze figure! I never knew it was a refrence
The breaststroke for dc super villains looks like the one from arkham knight
In a joker death scene in knight,he says "Thats what i get for betting it all on black"
And in the lego movie batman says,"Always bet on black?!"
Maybe its a reference
