This Video will show you a quick inexpensive way to get your treadmill working if you lost the key.
Some how when I moved I lost the key to my treadmill.
So I had to come up with something quick and easy to get it to turn on.
Check out my video for Details
And just a FYI I used a Shower Curtain liner.
I cut the magnetic pieces out of it.

I found a treadmill in my neighborhood, my mom walk a lot and she always wanted one and coincidently, I found this treadmill but when I plugged it in, an error came up and never got it running. You just saved my day because I was about to throw away again! Genius! Thanks a lot.

I didn't have those magnets on my curtains, so I went to look at my real magnets. Lo and behold, I found the keys. I hung them up like a magnet this whole time.:)

Yes go to the Walmart and purchase a new shower Curtain. Then cut the magnets out.... :)

I lost mine and googled replacement key for treadmill and found your video. I cut 1 out and it worked! Yay! When I'm not using it I'm going to keep it stuck on the side of my microwave where I won't forget where I put it and my little one can't get to it. I was just about to replace that shower liner anyway so I'll cut all of them out to have just in case. Thank you!

It worked!!!!! Went to my shower curtain liner, took off 3 of the four magnets, and stuck them across the yellow plate and on it went!

I found a perfectly good Nordic Trac treadmill on the side of the road abandoned. Used your magnet trick, I need to buy a new shower curtain anyways😀 thank you so much! The treadmill works like new!

I have the same treadmill, and I love it. I have my key, and I know it's a "safety" device, but sometimes during my workout, I accidentally pull the cord, and it shuts off during my workout. Thanks for giving me an option, if I decide not to use the original key, or if it gets lost. xoxoxoxoxox

We just brought one and the previous owner lost the safety key but puts is a slot😅 unfortunately this way does work for us but you are amazing from sharong this information!!

Thank you! I had an old shower curtain that I was using as a drop cloth. Two magnets were still in place, so I removed them to make a new magnet key. Problem solved! Also, I have a magnetic dry-erase board with the little round magnetic pieces for holding up notes. Those magnets are the same size, so if I lose my curtain-magnet-key I can use one of those to make a replacement.
