@@Nielasherhello can trigger points cause tinnitus in the ear? I have a sharp, painful knot in the right rhomboid at the edge of the scapula and when I press on it my right ear ringing gets worse. What can I do please I have been suffering for a long time. I'm considering dry needling. Thanks for your help.

What you mentioned at the end is critically important.
My brother had had the pain around the base of his skull,
it’d troubled him for months and he’d thought it was just muscle pain.
However, nothing had improved after massage treatment.
It was not until the occurrence of seizure did he realize that there was a tumor inside his brain.
He sustained 2 and a half years and left us at the age of 32.
Miss you Jeff, may you rest in peace.

Thank you very much. now I can move my shoulder without pain or clicking. I hope that last for long time :(
However. after releasing the shoulder, the pain in my upper right neck came back! This pain requires me to turn my head left back until I hear popping in the right side of my cervical spine which give me a temporarily relief.
Do you what the name of that injury is?
I used to have "Texting neck" and in order to temporarily relief the pain I had to raise my head up to make the neck cracks. I treat the "Texting neck" with exercises including the towel exercise. Now the pain is only in the right side of the cervical spine along with the right shoulder joint. I do not know how to fix it and unfortunately I can't find a qualified physiotherapist in my area, so I trying to do everything by myself. I appreciate it if you would help..

      Hi Reema,
The difficulty with diagnosing problems like this, is that the symptoms and reactions you are experiencing could stem from any number of structures, such as muscular, joint, ligamentous, or even neural. This can result pain, along with the physical presentations, referred pain included. Without a proper examination by a qualified professional you leave yourself open to future problems. It is really recommended that you seek such advice, because this may be coming from your neck and the vertebral joints themselfe which may exacerbate neural structures or trigger points. By not assessing the situation properly you minimise the effect of any treatment regime, which needs to be directed at the underlying cause along with the overlying symptoms. Good luck.

I have C7 radiculopathy because of these trigger points. Was caused by a workout injury (heavy squats) a few months back. It's an agonizing pain and any use of the traps triggers the pain through my shoulder and long head of the tricep.

Press as hard on these areas as you can handle. Keep the pressure on them until you feel the tension and pain release. Good luck!
