EmpowerHER STEM Tour and HoloLens Workshop

At BlueScope, we're proud to continue supporting women in #STEM as a key sponsor of the EmpowerHER STEM Summit, which is run by the University of Wollongong (UOW) in Australia! The latest two-day event took place at Inside Industry and our Port Kembla Steelworks during the school holidays and was designed for female high school students, accompanied by faculty, current students and industry professionals. In this video, you'll see footage of the site tour and the Microsoft HoloLens workshop at the Inside Industry Visitor Centre, which included a fun origami activity to demonstrate how the technology is used for on-site training.
