I got the Tops as a blind buy and sooooo happy I did. Listening on the Tops the Hype 4 felt a bit more open and airy but less detailed. They both sound good but I would still recommend the TOP if the person could save the extra 150$. It covers most music I listen to with and without an amp and gaming. Honestly end game for me. I cant see going higher in price as it is just diminishing returns after a certain point I feel. Feel like for IEM's and Headphones 500/600 range is really good for things that will last years when taken care of. I will say the white Hype 4 is beautiful though.
@@BrianLimoa I love the Tops with all kinds of music from Pop, EDM, Jazz, R&B etc. They are my main IEMs. Only use these and HD 650 Headphones. Both off Schiit Heretic AMP @ PC. I would suggest you get them from a location you can do a return on. I know Amazon has some of the Xenns (not 100% on tops) or if you have a place that will allow you to test IEMs.
I own the top, I can tell the top sound signture is way better, more balanced, deteiled and resolving, but the hype 4 had more bass richness in the sound i guess.

mangird has a distinct and inspiring sound. hype4 sounds smoother but not as interesting as mangird.

Terrible song choice. There's should be more instruments and both representing male and female ranges
