giggs was exceptional , I was lucky enough to watch him live in the 90s, I always felt though that other wide players like lee Sharpe and Kanchelskis were underrated/unsung heroes
Kanchelskis was brilliant but he had some shady people around him and wated too much money, Sharpe was asked to move to left back by Sir Alex and refused and wasted his career after that/
If he left Manchester United and went to any of the clubs abroad that wanted him in italy amd spain he would of won a ballon dor easy but at United its all about the team and he couldn't just focus on attack
I really like he stayed with one club though, it made him such a figure for Manchester United fans. Its one of those players you can't hate whichever team you support...
Giggs was a class act. Played for the most demanding ruthless manager of all time his whole career. Ask any right back that faced him what they think . 40 years old still playing top level, only Maldini compares. One of the greatest.
@@umarrazvi last i checked he was a footballer and he did his job spectacularly. Completely meaningless comment as this video was about how good he was as a player not how good he was as a person lmao
@GoalRevolution I don't think Andy Cole gets enough credit now, there would have been no treble without him. He scored some of the best goals I've ever seen in my life, yet he's never mentioned in the same vain as strikers that came after him, like Rooney or Van Nistelrooy. I feel even Solskjaer gets more credit, because of that CL final goal.
@@jamesmccarthy6764 Yep its true, he was amongst the greatest. Those bicycle kicks from him were something else 😅 We will take a consideration making a video for him in the near future...
Giggs imo is the closest player to Messi that UTD have. Started off as a flashy winger, capable of winning matches on his own, slowly transitioned into a deep lying playmaker in his latter years.
I've heard him described by the younger generation as, 'James Milner with a bit of pace', and it's sad that people don't know how good he was. Giggs an exceptionally talented footballer who transformed from a tricky winger into a midfield playmaker.
The information about europe is not entirely accurate. Yes Man U had had not won the UEFA Champions league, but won both the Cup winners cup and UEFA Super cup in 1991.
Just read the comments to see if anyone had picked up on that. Winning that trophy gave Utd a kudos, without which we might never have signed Schmeichel, Kanchelskis and maybe others.
The thing is how long he lasted. You would never see a player like that other Scholes last than long with ONE club. Even as he got older and couldn't make the same runs as he did when he was younger, he got better with passing and crosses. To last that long is just amazing.
Giggs is underrated. His acceleration back in the days was wicked, the fake runs, which got defenders in a daze. And given the fact that he was once the player with the most career titles at the time he retired. If he played for a stronger national team, he'd jave done better on that stage.
Love him or hate him you do r play at the highest level into your 40s if your no good giggly was an amazing winger one if the best the games ever seen and I'm not a man u fan
We still wouldn't of won. England have had enough great players to win tournaments, but they need winners, not it's the taking part that counts attitude.

Eric must have loved having those three to run on to his perfect passes.
Glory days, Keane Ince middle , two flyers on the wing, hughes and Cantona up front

The perfect footballer. My passion for football was really reignited after watching him on tv the first time… in the 90s
He was absolutely incredible, the best career of any British footballer ever.
Giggs was the best ever, amoung other greats at United...period
Very true. Absolute Legend.
Do you want to see another video for a Man Utd legend ?

The way you pronounced Cantona is bordering on criminal.
Had to switch off there.
Mate swear down not even a fan 😂
😂
I had a visceral reaction to that too 😂
That’s where I turned off the video 🤣
Ryan giggs went above and beyond measurement
He truly is..
I feel like you really meant he had an affair with his brothers wife for 8 years

Giggs's name is not written on the heart of every man utd fan, its written on the heart of every football fan ,just like messi .
Best left footed player to ever play in the prem and this includes the present 2023..
One of the reasons we win
Our games
He run football right left,skill
It's a shame what he did off the field but on the field he was such a great player, his longevity and staying at 1 club his whole career is rare.

I'm a Liverpool fan. No doubt, Ryan Giggs was the best in the league if not the world back then.

He's a beast trio in PS1 with ronaldo nazario and roberto carlos
Zidane once said, "If he was French, Pires and I would be on the bench
Thank you Ryan giggs, you are a legend ggmu

True.
Giggs, scholes and keane...they are priceless
I love that you've made this video, but it would be great if you did your homework on the pronunciation of footballer names.
Fact check: ‘a treble’ can be domestic or continental. Liverpool won an impressive Treble in 2001 without winning the domestic league.
That's not the real Treble though! 😂
Played the entire field
Consistently fast for 20 years
People forget how good this guy was.
