LED's are a little brighter but I think they would be expensive to replace if they failed or were damaged. And if you couldn't find them the car is unusable. Whereas a bulb can be found anywhere.
@@kumudukulasekara6684 ... true. But on the bright side (no pun intended), they should last the life of the car. Aside from an accident, you'll probably never have to replace one. The 2025 model is going full LED and I have to say, it does give it a more modern appearance.
About 100 tears ago I had a 1977 Suburban. Four wheel drive, 350 four barrel V-8 and a manual transmission. Fantastic vehicle. Drive anywhere through snow, mud or whatever. I used it to pull Tree stumps out of the ground. Pulled trailers and loaded it from top to bottom and side to side. I paid $1400 for it and drove it for five years. I bet a modern one wouldn’t do as much or last as long doing it. I did look at a 2014 one a few years ago but the motor was an oil burner.
Does this diesel have the oil pump belt that needs to be replaced every 150k or 200k miles like the diesel Silverado, and the cab needs to be removed to get at the belt?
To be fair diesel without DEF smells so fkn bad following it, I shouldn't have to have recirculation on just to filter that away. Otherwise with DEF you can still get very good mpg on diesel suburban.
Started with the Suburban Z71 now I stepped up to High Country with no regrets super comfortable cruiser. Maybe fog lamps would be the only thing Chevy could have added to it, otherwise great SUV. The Duramax engine has got my attention for some time now.
I have a 1st gen Cruze 2.0L Diesel. Power and torque are great but I've had issues with the emissions DEF components. I'm in California so i cannot delete anything.. Without those issuest it would be perfect
how much more cargo space is there in a suburban than a tahoe? its me and my 4 kids. i rent minivans for vacation and we keep it packed with luggage and a cooler
The vehicle is huge. Too big for its own good, imho. Imagine that in the parking garage, the mall parking lot, Costco parking lot. Does it even fit in Ma & Pa’s garage/driveway?
I can clearly notice the extra cranking turns the engines makes because of a problem with those engines. For the 2025 model year all of that is fixed with the second generation engine. Waiting until 2025 ❤❤❤
Never understood why people send this kind of money on a vehicle and treat it like trash. Looked at a 2021 Suburban and they allowed the kids to waste drink and drink inside the vehicle. The stains and food in crevices that were hard to reach was disgusting. The smells were as bad.
I simply don’t understand the difference between a high country suburban-base Yukon, Yukon Denali ultimate- Base Escalade. There’s too many of these cars and I personally think they should cut the Yukon.
I'll hold out for the 2025 with the refreshed interior and available Z71 Duramax. We can only hope for the ZR2 Tahoe
Purchased a 2023 Suburban High Country with the Duramax for our family hauler and we love it! Literally checks off all the boxes. 30mpg highway.
Our suburban typically 27mpg but I'm usually cruising close to or at about 80mph. Still excellent for size.
poor
Holding off for 25 , with all new updates , including LZO updated diesel , and super cruise now in RST
What is wrong with these manufacturers, $86k and no LED Taillights, 0ld school bulbs.

@@kumudukulasekara6684 Very good point that is easy to overlook.
Diesel vehicles are the go to choice for SUVs and trucks in South Africa. I had A Chev with a 2.8 Duramax engine, loved it

Ben Hardy’s videos make me smile 😊
I'll hold out for the New improved 3.0 diesel available 2025
I like the diesel engines too, but when I ask a mechanic how much will it cost to fix an issue; yikes!

Not a huge fan of the beard but these videos are always the best!
I agree 100 percent on the diesel emissions. It’s all about trying to get more money it’s got nothing to do with saving the environment.
I would prefer a 6.2 V8 RST Suburban With The Cat Back Exhaust And The Red Brake Calipers
6.2 sounds great with an exhaust
Definitely a nice truck. Can haul and pull. If that's what you need, it is a nice one to get for sure!
Cheers
It's a numbers game. If they didn't meet forecasts, they move on to something else...Sucks.@@Brian_Eugene_Lee

Whatcha think 4 months later?
Chevy suburban great suv cool head lights great family suv love the interior awesome TV into the seats that's so cool
2024 Chevrolet Suburban Premier 3.0L Duramax Diesel 10-Speed Automatic 4X4!
Without emissions on diesels aren’t high enough to need to put filters on
Love diesels. You should see the restrictions they put on trains and huge ships that use diesel. None and their sulfur levels are higher.
The Suburban SUV died when they took away the truck frame. This is just a big station wagon.

That's right or big daddy Newsome will spank you 😂
When you have to take out a mortgage to pay for this vehicle you know the price is too high.
But it's the highest luxury trim, the base model is about 30k cheaper
how much more cargo space is there in a suburban than a tahoe? its me and my 4 kids. i rent minivans for vacation and we keep it packed with luggage and a cooler
It would be perfect if it had the larger Duramax in it.
I agree 😊
86k? What am I missing here?

What’s does American car manufacturers have against putting diesels in smaller midsize vehicles? I agree

Much rather have a 2024 Tahoe Z71 black 6.2 (if offer the 6.2)

Chevy suburban is better than escalade esv

GM dealerships has graveyards of vehicles awaiting parts. Until GM fixes the part unavailability issues, that should not be allowed to sale vehicles.
I think the new 3.0 gets 300 /500
"dashboard has pretty cool design".. I think I've seen better on Kia but..
Hey don't dog on kia, they and Hyundai been cookin 😎
garbage
Kind of wack for the price not going to lie🥹 also that entertainment screen is so sad hahah wtf is that thing
Agreed. The 2025 screen is a huge improvement. It puts the current one to shame.
