Really, this is a great direction for the Street Fighter series. I wish these were in the games, but that is unreasonable, cost-wise. Animated well, intriguing story, great characterization of established characters, and the action is well-done. This is a Street Fighter cartoon done right, and I wish Capcom would continue releasing these.
No, the power of the Feng Shui Engine is directly determined from the power and abilities of the one who weilds it, kind of like the Satsui No Hado is for Ryu or Akuma. Plus, it stated in the beginning part of this video clip that Juri was considered to be the top Tei Kwan Do martial artist at the age of 15 years old. That means that she, at that age, was stronger than people who had been practicing this Martial Art for 50 years or more. Just a thought.
She's my favorite character too. She's Street Fighter's version of Takeshi Asakura/Kamen Rider Ouja from Kamen Rider Ryuki. Both are purple-colored sadistic fighters who fight just for fun.
Also, keep in mind that Akuma is considered to be at least 10 times stronger than most of the fighters in the street fighter universe(with the exceptions of Gouken, Oro, Gill, and perhaps M.Bison to name the few that I know of)
If Akuma thought that she was even worth his time. Akuma will only fight someone he deems worthy of his attention, holding back even then to either give himself more of a challenge or to even the odds for his opponents, proving to the world that he really is the ultimate bad@!
It seems that Capcom, after releasing a few animated movies, limited themselves to releasing only video games. If they released at least one season of an anime where they adapted all the lore, the history of the franchise would be at the level of Kimetsu no Yaiba or Naruto. Street Fighter has a spectacular history and they have been wasting it.
There was a really good Street Fighter anime series that came out like 20 years ago. I think it was 24 episodes and it was basically the original story arc. Highly recommend!

Without her eye, the dolls would have easily taken her down. The whole time she fought them, she was using her eye. Juni and Juli especially because they still have psycho power (SFA 3 story and Juni being able to Mach slide and heal each other). Juri's still cool, I just would have like to see a better battle with all the dolls especially Juli and Juni.

Yes, her move and skill is quite good but thanks to the Engine that she can use her chi and her momentum is too much, it also enhances her power. In the whole, she relies on the Engine very much. I bet that without it, Cammy and Chun-li could defeat and subdue her easily
The Juni & Juli fight scene could've been so much better. In alpha 2 they're always introduced as a shadowy figure that turns out to be 2 characters and along with Cammy, they were possibly the most dangerous agents Bison had at his disposal- especially considering Cammy was rocking psycho powers at the time. Oh well, this animation is tight.

Secondly, Juri wasn't charging her attack, that was merely the ki energy resonating from her Feng Shui Engine, she could've moved and counterattacked at any point had Cammy and Guile tried something like that. Didn't you see Juri's sadistic smile? She was obviously toying with the two of them.
At any point in this fight, I was expecting Akuma to jump in this fight and sucker punch Juri with the Satsui No Hado just like he did with Bison in street fighter 2 turbo.
The only reason Juri is remotely a threat is because anyone who could pose a challenge to her do that stupid thing anime characters do where they'll just there and do nothing while the enemy charges up an attack: Case in point 5:44 until 6:24 for forty seconds Guile (Who is the only guy who gets in a solid hit by the way) stands in one spot and allows her to just lay into him with all she's got.

They lack confidence in their new character designs, and it shows when they constantly advertise them, like putting Viper in MvC3, having UDON put them in their comics or shoehorning Hakan and Juri as alternate rivals in SSFIV. Because of that, they make them overpowered hoping that will make them popular. But at least a chi amplifier as an excuse is more believable than Viper's gadgets.

Look at Guile's Wipe Out super to where he's airborne for a few seconds landing consecutive hits, no great athlete level could ever achieve that, or anything Chunli or Cammy can do either, not to mention the durability to sustain the things that they get hit by as well.
The problem in movies/shows coming from fighting games is the transfer sucks. They don't know how to really balance it out. Juri is pretty easy to beat in the game. Unique character, but not that difficult to deal with. Guile has no problems fighting against her....at all. Now to translate that into a movie while conserving the lore is difficult, which is understandable, but I don't ever see producers get it right. Realistically Guile shoulda washed her, but engine nonsense kicked in. Guile creates a sonic boom, right?
With what happened in SF4 I wouldn't be surprised if Juni, Juli and Charlie made a return. Or the guy who Abel saw use a similar technique in the game was Alex and we are getting trolled. Though that wouldn't be bad, I like Charlie.
