I actually feel sorry for the last 2 generations, they have no idea what real entertainment is. The so called musicians of today and the last 20-30 years killed the music industry, with the exception of just a few. People can’t sing anymore without the aid of things like auto tune and anything else they can get their hands onto to change their voices and change the sounds of musical instruments. How very sad.
On on NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" a few years ago, Dick said that his key to longevity was to sing & dance every day.. and marry someone half your age. Who can argue with that?🤷♂️

Such an easy & delightful read, like having a conversation with him , sitting there , with me pouring the tea & him choosing a slice of cake . I was a child actress during the 1950’s - 1960’s and was filming something at the same studio. I next met him in Malibu, California, several years ago at an art festival. He was very kind, friendly, and sweet, chatting with me like we knew each other. He was also tall!
Absolutely love it! When I was a kid, Dick Van Dyke was my boyfriend and didn't even know it. Now that I am in my 50's,he is still a favorite. Always love to see him in absolutely anything.

Tacking the likes of absolute, utter perfection like Doris Day's Everybody Loves A Lover is not for the faint hearted. But true to form, the Vantastix (and Arlene!) absolutely nailed it.
