Chills. You look at what the man RDJ has become and you look at Tony there's a reason he is the character because he lived it. And I will say when the Superhero film goes into hibernation we WILL remember RDJ and everything he's given us.

Robert Downey Jr. is the godfather of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. I can only imagine how his journey as Iron Man will come to a close.
Even after 10 years and zillion characters, Tony is still the most interesting character in MCU.. and it's all because of RDJ. Whenever he is on the screen he brings a special energy. I hope we'll see him. at least, in another 10 years.

Great video. People should remember that 11 years ago RDJ was taking a chance on a fledgling studio that had never produced anything on its own before, saying yes to a movie based on a character few non-comic book fans knew about. It didn’t even have a completed script! And yet he and faverua knocked it out of the park. There would be no MCU without RDJ. No hyperbole. Just truth.
Kevin Feige himself said : he is the heart, the soul and the spine of MCU.. Kudos to Marvel for taking the risk with RDJ when nobody else did.. and look where they are now.

Tony has been through a lot in MCU, he's not perfect, in fact, he has more flaws than his good qualities, but what people love about Iron Man isn't his fancy suits or dope technology, it's that he will never yell in front of danger, he go right straight through the challenge. If Captain America has the strongest heart in Avengers, then I think Tony is the bravest. Because he's always afraid of losing people he loves, and that fear has haunted him ever since the battle of New York. But he didn't let that beat him, instead, he turned that into the energy to push himself to become stronger. You can't be brave if you're not afraid. and Robert, he really brought this character alive in his own way. I'm really glad that Marvel picked him for this role now, he completed Tony Stark.
Honestly, I see Steve being a lot braver than Tony.
Hats off to Downey for embracing the whole giving back aspect of his superstardom. The footage of he and the child moved me...

Iron Man is what got me to love comic books and comic book movies. Robert Downey Jr. and his acting genius is what got me to love Iron Man. And this video impacted me on an emotional level. Both Robert Downey Jr. and Tony Stark had troubled lives. And that is why I love them. They showed that you don't have to be perfect to be successful or famous. You don't have to pretend to the world that your life is perfect. That you can be dealt a bad hand, and turn that to your favor, IF you have the willpower to do so. Really, Thank you so much for making this video.

RDJ loves being Tony Stark. The other actors like their characters too but look at everything RDJ has done outside of press. He went to an Iron Man themed party and he got a kid an Iron Man prosthetic arm. I'm not ready for him to go.

Amazing to see Iron man become a household name thanks to RDJ and the MCU. Kevin Fiege and crew took a C list character and elevated him to A class status. A decade of great character development combined with the perfect actor in RDJ created magic. This edit captures that magic and will never be forgotten.
This almost brought me to tears. Now we need the Endgame supercut!!
Just started my big MCU marathon of the year and rewatched the first Iron Man. I’m glad this was released before I continue it. Great edit, guys :)

One day one of these is going to say “In Loving Memory of Robert Downey Jr” and I think I would have to just retreat in grief.
The actor and the character informs each other to the point where it’s hard to find where actor begins and character ends, he means so much to so many because of his constant struggle to do the right thing from a past that haunts him.
And he isn’t perfect either even after all this time he still makes mistakes and yet still strives to be a better man. Notice how I didn’t say iron man at all?
