Hey Chris just a thought of the face scars, Jason in the comics and the animated film died in an explosion, so why not give him scars tearing across his face like something blew up in his face, might be neat.
But.... but.... when he was resurrected thanks to that crisis thing, he was completely fine (well, despite the fact he was buried) and Talia bathed him in the Lazarus pit afterward to heal any remaining wounds :/ The idea is neat design wise, but it really makes no sense.
I am not sure if you will see this, but after a while do you think you will be able to 3D copy the Red Hood mask for sale? It looks amazing so far and I want a solid mask. Thanks for everything !
Hey Chris ! About the neck seal: you should cut the velcro stripes in small pieces, so that it still "sticks all the way but now it's way more flexible, it will allow you to bend your neck forward !! Can't wait for the finished look ;)
I've never been so excited for a cosplay reveal. I'm loving your ideas and the direction you're going. I'm a fan of the scars, I've always thought he'd look a little different considering what happened to him. You're nailing this, Chris. Big fan of this one!
Looking forward to the full cosplay!! As for scarring, a little something on the lip/chin area, then the majority on the eye opposite the "J" scar. Like there was major reconstruction around the eye socket.
1:40 Wow dude!! What a neat idea for adjusting the neck seal!! I have been figuring out how to have it on but with your idea on this....I love it!!!! Thank you for the review and tips bro!!
Oh man, your cosplay is just turning out to be more and more phenomenal! I love the direction this project is going in. I think you should do the magnetic faceplate for the helmet. The render for the helmet is outstanding as well. Keep up the great work!
Hi Chris, could I please ask for a breakdown of how you added the strap to your TigerStone mask and how you attached the Velcro to your neck seal? I have tried to slow down your videos to see, but I can't seem to catch the process enough to replicate it. Many thanks!
THIS WILL BE AWESOME. and I do cosplays to not nearly close to u cause I'm a kid and I can't go out and bye a 3d printer but I love your channel it inspires me to do my channel so thanks for being awesome
That helmet looks sick man. I absolutely love it. I wish you had the render for sale. That helmet would go great with my darthstroke (sith deathstroke) cosplay
I'm making my helmet with Eva foam and I have the magnets inside the trench of the helmet. because it goes from the back of the head to the end of your chin it's super open when you open it for breathing room. highly recommend the magnets. down side would have to be the extra side of the head support needed because the top of the head gets uncovered, so you need something holding it up around your ears.
early on before he started the road to red hood i saw his batfleck vids and that made me want to start a batfleck inspired red hood i couldn't get it started until june but i'm on a very very low budget but if chris can do it i can. hopefuly u read this chris
Hey Chris, I was wondering if you were planning on adding some shoulder pads/arm/shoulder muscle suit underneath the leather jacket to make you seem more bulky (even though you're already buff). I've noticed from a lot of Red Hood cosplays that the head seems over bloated by the helmet which makes the final overall suit look out of proportion even though they fit the wearer well. So to compensate for the "big head" you should think about shoulder pads if your end result helmet seems too big in proportion with the rest of the suit. just a suggestion. Helmet looks awesome btw.
It would be a cool idea to make it like a ironman-ish style helm. The chin guard armor is a nice touch. The opening might work like a catering dome thing.
Can't wait to see the finished helmet. There's a great TH-camr called James burton. He build and iron man suit and helmet were the face plate lifted using electric motors you should do something similar. I was thinking of doing my own iron man helmet but low tech using springs on the face plate
Hahah I use a neckseal on my Iron Man suit, I totally get what you mean with the restricted movements. That said, I always like putting it on because, a: it completes the suit, and b: it gets me into character more. I don't know. Something about having my neck all suited up along with the rest of my body makes me feel like I'm not just wearing a shirt and stuff, but a whole suit that goes from my neck to my toes. I don't know. It's a weird feeling. But I always stand up straighter and take a more heroic posture with the neck-guard on XD Love the look of the helmet, can't wait to see how it goes.
So I just went to the Melbourne Oz Comic Con and I saw this guy and he was wearing the Batman Vs Superman Batman outfit and I nearly crapped myself because I thought it was you, Unfortunately it wasn't. Any way can't wait to see that Red hood outfit completed because it is going to look sick!
Also worthy of note Chris is that in the comics Jason was said to be a natural brunette but batman made him dye his hair black to look more like Dick did as Robin. I remember seeing a lot of pics of him with brown hair and his grey streak so you could get away with just the streak if you wanted. ^_^
I feel as though you should go the magnet route because the welders helmet look would take away from the over all costume and with the multiple parts folding out while it would look cool I feel like if you had a whole face plate come off it would make for a better look for when you take it off to reveal your face
there is always the idea that you could have a battle damage on the mask n faded scars leading from it, seeing as he see's batman as abandoning him he'd keep the original mask to add to batmans guilt
hello all the way from Puerto Rico. one question. can you do a remember video? one that says remember back in 20¿? to see how much have change for the greater good and recap how much money has cost and how much more you have gained?. it will be a blast
Just an idea, but why not include the scar from the Joker's smile on one side? Heath's Joker liked to "put a smile on that face" so I'd think that he'd mark Jason with it.
Hey Chris you should totally do an opening mechanism like iron man!!! That would be dope. If you do need help you can look up Xrobots he is an iron man cosplayer and shows you how to do it
You know if you want to look at other examples of Red Hood helmets the Injustice 2 video game has red hood gear that includes helmets, and they look pretty cool but your looks awesome too
It would be cool if you made the helmets face part come off by pulling it out a little, then sliding it over your head. Kind of like the first iron man movie where instead of it just flapping up like a welders mask, it slides over the top of the helmet.
When I saw the concept from last video, I wasn't really feeling it. It looked a little cartoonish and weird. That said, I really like the look of this render. It's like a realistic, more technological version of the comic Red Hood. Looks great.
can't wait til this is done super excited to see it
Juan Ortiz same
Juan Ortiz hello my long lost brother
yo what's up u went to the store an never came back
Hey Chris just a thought of the face scars, Jason in the comics and the animated film died in an explosion, so why not give him scars tearing across his face like something blew up in his face, might be neat.

89.000 since 100K - congrats Chris U deserve it👍🏻 best youtuber
I am not sure if you will see this, but after a while do you think you will be able to 3D copy the Red Hood mask for sale? It looks amazing so far and I want a solid mask. Thanks for everything !
Hey Chris love your Vids! you should put a voice modulator in the Helmet like most Red Hoods have. not as crazy as the one batman has though.
SilentAssassin1919 most red hoods? because the ones I've seen doesn't use voice modulators
Punished Fernando arkham night...
If I'm being pedantic, that was technically was not red hood. Same character, sort of, but it was the Arkham knight, not red hood.
dobrien09 yeah I guess so but I think a voice modulator might be something cool to try.
Oh yeah, it would be cool to see :)
Hey Chris ! About the neck seal: you should cut the velcro stripes in small pieces, so that it still "sticks all the way but now it's way more flexible, it will allow you to bend your neck forward !! Can't wait for the finished look ;)
Love red hood, would kill to make my own red hood helmet
Harold Darold same but for me it would be that i wouldn't kill i would just 3D print one
hey Chris I like to thanks you for the inspection for me to create my own red hood helmet, love your vids and keep doing amazing job
I've never been so excited for a cosplay reveal. I'm loving your ideas and the direction you're going. I'm a fan of the scars, I've always thought he'd look a little different considering what happened to him. You're nailing this, Chris. Big fan of this one!
don't forget his knife its a pretty special weapon
Looking forward to the full cosplay!! As for scarring, a little something on the lip/chin area, then the majority on the eye opposite the "J" scar. Like there was major reconstruction around the eye socket.
It looks insane already! I hope the mask doesn't end up over-sized, proportions are key imo
The multi plate opening would be so sick
The only channel where i watch every new upload
This will be your most epic cosplay ever, I always loved the red hood.
1:40
Wow dude!! What a neat idea for adjusting the neck seal!! I have been figuring out how to have it on but with your idea on this....I love it!!!!
Thank you for the review and tips bro!!
Red hood is awesome he's my favorite D.C. Character ever
As dc characters go, he is also one of my favorite, bane and doomsday beat him
Oh man, your cosplay is just turning out to be more and more phenomenal! I love the direction this project is going in. I think you should do the magnetic faceplate for the helmet. The render for the helmet is outstanding as well. Keep up the great work!
I am so hyped for the final reveal. I think you're doing a great job with how you're going about making Red Hood.
T-800 crossed with the Red Hood design? I like the idea of mixing those looks.
Chris this is going to be your best cosplay ever! I am really excited for your star lord cosplay.
So excited! I finally bought and watched Under the Red Hood and loved it. Perfect cosplay idea.
Can't wait to see the final product mate. Awesome work so far
I love ur channel and it's the best cosplay and nerd channel ever. I love it and ur great and u deserve so many more subs
Hi Chris, could I please ask for a breakdown of how you added the strap to your TigerStone mask and how you attached the Velcro to your neck seal? I have tried to slow down your videos to see, but I can't seem to catch the process enough to replicate it. Many thanks!
you plan on putting the print file for sale when it's all finalized?? would love to add this to my collection
I love the helmet it is so asome looking
Wouldn't the Lazarus pit heal the scaring?
aaron gatica TRU
aaron gatica yes but shouldn't it also heal the J on his face
Mr Pug yeah probably. I don't know, just don't think that far into it I guess lol
THIS WILL BE AWESOME.
and I do cosplays to not nearly close to u cause I'm a kid and I can't go out and bye a 3d printer but I love your channel it inspires me to do my channel so thanks for being awesome
awesome part 3 for the road to red hood buddy!!!!!!!!!! and also so pumped to see how the red hood suit turns out:)
Random question - have you seen Baby Driver? I'm watching it tonight and cannot be more excited!
That helmet looks sick man. I absolutely love it. I wish you had the render for sale. That helmet would go great with my darthstroke (sith deathstroke) cosplay
looks great so far, can't wait to see it. was awesome meeting you at melbourne ozcomic con :)
Looks amazing mate! Can't wait for the final reveal!!
😍yes😍 I can't wait to see this. I'm just stupid excited to see this one!
your looking "infamously" happy Chris!! Great vid as always.

Your cosplay will be AWSOME like all of your cosplay's I'm a really big fan of you and I love your videos they can help me when I star cosplaying
Nice update. Can't wait for the finished suit!
Is it going to be a glossy red? or more of a metallic red?
That helmet looks sick, son. I would suggest, as assembly style, my helmet in Arkham Knight
Hey Chris, I was wondering if you were planning on adding some shoulder pads/arm/shoulder muscle suit underneath the leather jacket to make you seem more bulky (even though you're already buff). I haven't even seen the video but already liked it. Because I know it's gonna be awesome😀😀
Do you actually need facial scars? I could be wrong but wouldn't the Lazarus pit heal all off them?
I like the dust and uncleanness of the seal now, it looks worn and gritty, really fits the character
It would be a cool idea to make it like a ironman-ish style helm. The chin guard armor is a nice touch. The opening might work like a catering dome thing.
I can't wait to see the final product this is by far my favorite cosplay he is doing
James Pettus same
Hey to make looking down easier what about sectioning off the Velcro so that there's some room with added gaps for it to bend a little
Can't wait to see the finished helmet. There's a great TH-camr called James burton. He build and iron man suit and helmet were the face plate lifted using electric motors you should do something similar. I was thinking of doing my own iron man helmet but low tech using springs on the face plate

Love the look of the helmet, can't wait to see how it goes.
Honestly the magnet plate sounds like it'd be less time consuming and still look pretty cool
This is going to look epic Chris!
For my helmet, I'm just using the Hasbro Iron Man electronic helmet. Gonna paint it and maybe modify it. Perfect for the faceplate issue.
Loving the helmet dude! If you are planing on making them available I might be interested!
You should totally do a batfleck inspired zero year cosplay. I could see you loving that
Nice, Looking forward for more!!
hi Chris looks great, you wearing a Robin mask under the red hood helmet 😄😄
Phil's pick n mix videos that's what redhood does. He wears a red mask under his helmet

I remember seeing a lot of pics of him with brown hair and his grey streak so you could get away with just the streak if you wanted. ^_^
use a mini neodymium magnet for guide you to help connect the neck seal..
Dude this is gonna be epic!!!
how will you put on the eye mask underneath? asking for my own project
I feel as though you should go the magnet route because the welders helmet look would take away from the over all costume and with the multiple parts folding out while it would look cool I feel like if you had a whole face plate come off it would make for a better look for when you take it off to reveal your face
can't wait for the leather jacket !!
Hello Chris LLLLLUUUUUVVVVV YOUR CHANNEL!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Keep it up man!!!!!!
Where can i get that neck cover dude!!!?
Chris down the road you should do a subjective marvel cosplay like this one
there is always the idea that you could have a battle damage on the mask n faded scars leading from it, seeing as he see's batman as abandoning him he'd keep the original mask to add to batmans guilt
Honest question, why does Chris use a muscle suit when he's all muscles?
hello all the way from Puerto Rico. one question. can you do a remember video? one that says remember back in 20¿? to see how much have change for the greater good and recap how much money has cost and how much more you have gained?. it will be a blast
With the neck seal can you turn your head or do you have to do the bat turn?
You should look at redhood gear pieces in injustice 2 to get and idea of how you want it to look
You can do Deadshot instead if you decide to leave it that color.
Try looking into how that one guy did the working Iron Man mask which slid up and down
Just an idea, but why not include the scar from the Joker's smile on one side? Heath's Joker liked to "put a smile on that face" so I'd think that he'd mark Jason with it.
I feel like the sides of the helmet are a little too much like the t-800 aesthetic. It looks great though, can't wait to see it done :)
Did he sculpt that on Zbrush
The neck piece makes him look like Zod! XD
How do you clean your urethane properly?
Hey Chris you should totally do an opening mechanism like iron man!!! That would be dope. If you do need help you can look up Xrobots he is an iron man cosplayer and shows you how to do it
Can't wait to see that bad ass helmet
Gorgeous helmet!!!!
And also i like to see you, doing a Arkham Knight Cosplay. At the 6:00 you look like exactly Batman in Arkham Knight with that neck piece.
I vote for the magnets. I think it will be the best way to be get what you want out of this.
It is literally 3:30 am and I'm still watching this video lol
I personally think the single face plate would be the coolest option, like if you agree
A magnetic one I reckon
You should do of big face plate and have it on with magnets
Look cool but I noticed your helmet design piece from Terminator head side and iron man and red hood three mixed so thug life! Lol 😂😂😂😂
Is he gonna Bat Turn?
You know if you want to look at other examples of Red Hood helmets the Injustice 2 video game has red hood gear that includes helmets, and they look pretty cool but your looks awesome too
It would be cool if you made the helmets face part come off by pulling it out a little, then sliding it over your head. Kind of like the first iron man movie where instead of it just flapping up like a welders mask, it slides over the top of the helmet.
Keep the neck seal dirty weathered = every cosplay Chris video ever
Im also going to see homecoming this friday!
Why not use snaps instead of Velcro?????
When I saw the concept from last video, I wasn't really feeling it. It looked a little cartoonish and weird. That said, I really like the look of this render. It's like a realistic, more technological version of the comic Red Hood. Looks great.
Holy shit, that helmet is going to fucking rock!
I can't wait
i cant wait for it to be done
Looks awesome.
