I really appreciate the videos of parents or siblings with DS. This presents a truthful picture of what special needs children are capable of and how loving they are. It also helps dispel the fears and myths of the public who do not take the time to know these wonderful people. In addition to being the father of a daughter with CDLS I have worked with special needs children and adults most of my life including volunteer teacher, coach and shaperone and member of local, area, and state Special Olympics games.

I was waiting for someone to think that was funny...
We do Shabbat fellowship on Friday at Sunset and rest Saturday but we volunteer at a seeker friendly church on Sunday. We have done this 16 years and I have seen so many come to God and grow from it. Those seeking the Lord really do come to churches looking for God because that's the place they have heard to go. Time and time again I have seen people saved there but three years after they leave of it saying, "it changed." It didn't change, they did, and that's a GREAT THING! It's not more watered down, they are simply at a place of neededing more meat and not yet feeling ready to give out milk to those with a need for mercy, time, and (I joke) yes, they are there for the coffee bar. We NEED Bible reading people to keep relationally influencing at our mega churches, yes, there are fewer and fewer strong Christians there but over the years I got to read the letters on why people leave and it's because they feel bringing God to where the people are is too big of a job. IF your at a place where you can influence in mercy and love maybe see the modern church as the market place your called to. Pray about it. "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. New Living Translation These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields."

We are going to do the Penderwicks this summer.
I love the sign! We did basic signing with all our babies until they were confident speaking. I love sign language it’s a shame my skill isn’t used other than practicing with TH-cam videos and practice conversations. Oh well. Maybe God will have me use it for him someday!

Been watching your channel for awhile now. I too attend a Messianic synagogue. Just curious, what made you want to go back to attending a church on Sunday?
I do both. I am in leadership at my messianic congregation. So in order to relax a bit I go to a church. I may not disagree with everything, but I like hearing their perspective and appreciate the unity.
3 am bedtime? I wouldn't survive. 10 pm is late for me. Granted...baby wakes me up often enough still... Our 3 year old likes toothpaste so most of the time I keep it hidden...and I also make sure to buy fluoride-free kids toothpaste.
I know, I am ridiculous.
