Hi! You should avoid using skincare with active ingredients such as retinol and vitamin C after HIFU. Skin is usually back to normal after about a week. And I would recommend you start at a lower concentration ie. mix moisturiser with retinol and Vitamin C.

Hi there, 😊 Saunas, steam rooms or other heat treatments should be avoided after HIFU procedure as they can contribute to irritation and swelling while potentially exposing the skin to bacteria.

hi! thanks for this video. i would just like to ask for an advice because i just had a hifu treatment yesterday and it was extremely painful, the doctor said it was set to max the effect since i have a rounded face. now my face is so swollen, i mean puffer fish swollen type. may i please know if is this normal? i asked the clinic and they said this is just normal and should go away after a few days. @@1farahnaz hello! my face is now fine, however i still feel that my lower cheeks, jaw and neck is swollen inside or not yet fully healed. i noticed that my face became smaller than before. im still waiting for the full result. lastly, i am currently getting rid of a somewhat a “burn” like discoloration because of the procedure.

Hi, Niacinamide should not be applied right after the procedure, but you may safely include it in your routine after about 72 hours, as long as your skin feels fine. 😊

Can we wash face after treatment of hifu
Yes, you should wait at least four hours to wash your face. Also, you should only use lukewarm water for the first 48 hours. On days two and three, it's safe to cleanse with a gentle, non-exfoliating face wash.
