- Hello fellow travelers!
This one is different for sure. As you can see from the photo our Airstream is in a storage facility. We had to put it there in order to help our daughter and her family as they near the birth of their new baby girl! We are looking so forward to seeing her!
That being said, we will still be documenting our journey at this point, but it will just look a little different. We will still go check out new places in the Bay Area and greater Sacramento area of California.
W really appreciate you sticking with us during the time as we continue to live our lives full time in our Airstream.

What a blessing to be available to help your daughter. I’m currently staying with my daughter who is pregnant. Yay for grand babies! Hope all goes well. Enjoy your stay. Also looking forward to the future modifications on the airstream!
We will be downsizing this way very soon. Grandchildren (from what I hear) are an incredible blessing.

Feel the same way! Hate putting my Toyhauler in storage but need to help family for a few weeks. Then north to Idaho weather permitting ! 👍

Good luck with the impending granddaughter arrival! It's nice that you are in a position to help and spend time with your family. My guessing is that living full time in the Airstream allows you lots of flexibility. This is how I want to live too I think it's a great way to live as it gives lots of options.

Selling a household full of furniture & personal items to go on the road full time must take a ton of time, a lot of emotional toll, and a need to store items of intrinsic value that can't be replaced. You might of already done a piece on these three things, but if not I'd like to hear about it.
FYI: The wife & I live in Discover Bay, which on the other side of Mt. Diablo. Thinking, and dreaming of full time, in our Flying Cloud.
Thanks Tom, it was a process that took a lot of planning. We literally had to depart with stuff we thought was important, but ultimately it was very freeing. We still do keep a storage for stuff we want to keep. No furniture because if we ever went back into a house, we’ll just get new stuff. Thanks for a great idea for an upcoming video! BTW-we moved from Brentwood so we know Discovery Bay and my oldest son lived there a short time.
I can think of worse places to spend a few weeks! Grew up in Santa Cruz :-). Enjoy your time with family.
We used to go to Santa Cruz a lot when we were teens. Lots of memories.
