Beautiful! And I would love to see a video on the pattern making process! I'm new to sewing, so understanding how you can look at a picture of a garment and recreate it would be super valuable!! I'm sure a lot of it comes down to experience but I'm sure seeing how you do it would be educational : )
this is such a beautiful dress made by an even more gorgeous person! i would love to see you do a sherri hill spin off of a ballgown, or maybe a remake of a dress worn by royals!
Would like to see how you made the train pattern, it’s a beautiful dress and i’m sure any young lady would be thrilled to wear at the prom. Tempted to have a go for my daughter who didn’t have a prom due to covid here in England.. Some photos in a beautiful dress would help her mentally as she’s suffering from anxiety and depression.. Would this type of dress be hard to design on a dress form? i’ve not tried anything so beautiful
This one is actually not the easiest on a dress form (I constructed the pattern) because it gets so heavy. If you're interested, I linked my pattern in the description box 😊
@@jadealanna9519 She’s a U.K. size 6, thank you so much for the offer! but i’m not sure they’ll be having prom so was going to try and make one just for photos ♥️
This dress is beautiful and fits so we'll. I would live to see some more of what it turned out like, in brighter light and the front too. Awesome job on such a tough material
A tailors ham will help you get those bust curves pressed perfectly, I made my own with canvas cloth and stuffed with excess cabbage (fabric scraps of cotton, flannel, anything not synthetic) but also rolled up socks work in a pinch!
I am so impressed by how well you made this dress. You did an amazing job. And the dress is beautiful. It fit you well. And you looked stunning in it. It is my goal to be able to be this good at making clothes.
It is like an eyelet stitch, I put these little ltags between lining on skirt and trousers legs if lined. I put a blanket stitch over the lengths of the thread rather than wind the thread around.
Wow! this is the first time that I came across your video. You have such a lovely personality. Your video is super informative and intricate, love it. The dress... omg the dress is stunning on you! New subscriber here.✨
Hi! I'd like to see how you made a pattern, because I am trying to do my own ones for different dresses, but don't succeed - I definitely need more information on this topic🙏🙏❤️
Hi! I noticed that there are horizontal wrinkles along the waistline on the back sides. I was wondering if you've managed to find a solution for it? Is it something we have to modify on our own on the pattern before cutting the pieces? I bought your pattern on Etsy, but I don't know how to avoid these wrinkles seen at 26:19 of your video. Thanks for your help! 🥰
it's a beautiful dress and well made tutorial! there two things I wonder about though. one is why you didn't make the dress the right length from the start and the second is maybe just my personal preference, but I don't think bare elastics make the prettiest shoulder straps
I mismeasured without shoes in mind 😆 and the elastics, I went by the picture Paulina sent me, it had elastics on. I also personally like the look of those elastics 🥰
i love your process, definitely would love to see the pattern, and do you do PDF patterns for your etsy?what software do you use to create them?and can you recommend a course i can take to learn as well.
Yes, if your purchase the pattern, you will receive a pdf in US letter and DinA4 size. If you print on 100% and (if possible) set your printer to seamless printing, you'll get the perfect result. I use Illustrator to digitize my patterns 🥰
Beautiful dress! Would love to see the pattern making. Also what is this giant heat proof table I need this. So sick of up and down to the ironing board.

Such lovely fabric. The colour is stunning on you, and you are a good model.

Thanks so much! I was scared that the skirt wouldn't fit cause I didn't want to "waste" fabric for sampling 😱
@@THISISKACHI well no need to be concerned about that. It fit well. And I don't think that you were wasteful at all. You did an amazing job.
@@EmorettaRobinson im glad to hear that! 🥰
I would love to see the pattern making video!

So beautiful and I am sure she is so happy!
Love the dress!!! Just for reference, how tall are you? (So I can consider how much I would need to elongate the dress)
I am 1,67m and had on 10cm heels in the compilation at the end 😊 I hope that helps ♥️
