Coming from 2,000 hours in Tarkov and REALLY hoping this game rocks. Got my fingers and toes crossed. There is definitely a community/market for truly hardcore shooters. Seeing a minimap made me sad but that's just the brutalness of Tarkov coming out lol. Can't wait for updates on this one as they come! Great vid thank you 🤘🏼
I've got a few hundred hours in Tarkov as well. While GZW won't be as brutal, like no minimap, I think it will help new people come into the tactical shooter space in a more "calming" environment lol . Glad you liked it and hope to make more!
The game isn't tarkov so I'd just say dont go in expecting that experience or you'll be disappointed. It's a great game on it's own

I have a first impressions out due to time constraints. But with the release being tomorrow I'll be able to get more feedback and footage for anyone still wondering about if they should get it. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Different camos for each faction would be a good idea
I think it would be really cool to have different fits for each faction and I can't wait to see what uniqueness each faction gets later down the line.

Hopefully they will have unique uniform for each faction or identification cue like arm band color to aid in with IFF. Open a map to check is not convenience if you are fighting within a village and you have friend & enemy in close proximity with each other
Yes their will definitely be some more diversity on looks down the road! And I agree 😄. Gotta check them targets XD I only team killed once in the playtest lol
Did they say anything about adding bullet wound decals / blood decals from hits?
Imo shooting something in a realistic game should lead to there being at least a bit of blood on the environment, especially when a character is bleeding. It’s a great layer of visual immersion they really shouldn’t neglect. Would make fights a lot more impactful if done right - not over the top and gamified, but subtle and visceral.
During the playtest they did and it was pretty subtle. Felt very grounded! i was happy to see. People would even drip blood on the ground. I'll be able to look more in depth when early access hits! The trailer for the release date is in 1.5 hours!
