I am just always skeptical. I don't believe anything a dev says anymore. They will be yes men most of the time to try to sell their game. Especially smaller teams. @@IMakeStuff92
It's a pre alpha build bro, this was probably recorded last week. They've been fixing everything that creators noticed

Ya AI needs some serious work. Lighting is also meh. Rest of the game looks great though!
Good to see how open these developers are with their game, at least for now I can feel ensured that this game indeed does exist.

I think adding a few random villagers and livestock in different areas in the map will make the game more lively, interesting and more immersive. And also a few villagers harvesting in the rice fields to grab that vietnam or south east asian atmosphere. And also the gang or militants in the area interact with the villagers like harasses them or take them as hostages for a quick in game mission. Like i mean random events that might escalate in different places.😊

Sounds like a nice idea.
Have inhabited zones where you might find civilians, and have some sort of penalty for killing them. Maybe have enemies disguised in civilian clothes among them, with hidden weapons (pistols, knives and such). Would make for a tense enviornment.
Gotta love it when the squad leader says “what is the mission again?”

This was a much better introduction to the game than most other videos I've seen so far - didn't expect the home base to be so close! Cool video :)
I love the minimal hud and terrain details, highly immersive.
Love the detail of the optics when you move. you lose some of the view till you steady it. Just like real life. Game looks amazing

This is what I wanted the newer ghost recon games to be like. With the option of ai teammates.
From what I have seen Ghost Recon is Pseudo Tactical, it only has the looks. Looks arcade at best.

@@53strat55 That's true, but back in Ghost Recon's day, it was the creme of the crop for tactical shooters (SOCOM was another, but Playstation exclusive).

I'm happy this game exists (not getting hopes too high ofc) although I don't play extraction shooters. I do enjoy that they took the time to really understand how grenade shrapnel works, the gun ballistics, and the shoulder swap mechanic. I think they have something cooking, but I don't want to be in the kitchen if it burns. High hopes and great video, Jack!

This is fun. I like this slow-paced, tactical gameplay. Very cinematic too; feels like Im watching _Lone Survivor_ or _Platoon_ 🪖 (or _Tropic Thunder_ with the voice-over dialogue 🤣)

It looks like it could be a lot of fun, definitely got potential. Really enjoyed the video.
Would be sick if the NPCs mounted a proper defense once the first shots are fired and some of them died. Like they become aware and start digging in/ spreading out to meet the attack. Could be different from a lot of PVE where NPCs either just ignore your attack until youre right on them, or once they hear a shot they all try to bumrush.
Thats why MGSV is still the best for me

If this game comes with mod support it could very possibly be an arma killer
Gray Zone & Arma are completely different games though, it won't dethrone Arma, especially once Arma 4 comes out and that is okay. both games can co-exist, arma is pinnacle of modding!
Arma is more of a open world sandbox, whereas Gray Zone Warfare is more like a large enclosed map. I don't think it will "kill" Arma, because the next Arma will kill "Arma"

These games are completely different genre. This map very small compared to some arma maps. Arma has fighter jets, tanks, submarines in the big ocean and all kinds of vehicles. Hundreds of players in the pvp battle over some city with attack helis and jets bombarding.
Looks very cool. I'm not sure I have the skill needed, but might be a fun play with friends that can carry me :)
No skill needed in these type of games. Good strategy will get you through tactical games. Don't need twitch aiming in tactical genre just brainpower.
If you dont have skill this game should be perfect for you

Love the realism, the helo just flies directly parallel by the side of the target as it comes in to drop off at the start 🙈😂
The gameplay looks very fun. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I only wish that you're also able to idle your Weapon so you don't actually shoot one of your teammates or when you're stacking up for a breach, that'd be really neat.
They have this feature in Deadside and I really enjoy it.

Me, looks quite stale the movement. The concept is nice, but just feels quite just plain. Most people will prob get bored after a while

Its awesome that they actually have a guy that shoots firearms and knows about the accessories a part of the design team.

One thing I would love to see is them implement lowering your weapon when a friendly passes in front of your weapon
It won’t because you can kill your teammates by accident. Thats why you will need to over communicate. This is a lot like Escape from Tarkov

The environment is crazy dettailed. Those mountains look amazing. Hope they dont disappoint.
This has got huge potential, can imagine the pvp fire fights being pretty intense
Inventory/loot system very reminiscent of Marauders. One of my favorite things about that game! Not as intricate as EFT, but still a great feel. I could definitely see myself getting very immersed in this game

American viewer here. I love guns inside video games as well as outside them. Love the fact they’re using real brands with real military contracts in game. Such as the AR which is the Daniel defense mrk18 used by our special forces. Also the Eotech logo on the side of the red dot. Always bugs me when games just invent optics for guns… really promising signs!
Liked the fact Jack and The other guys where asking "the right" questions like replay value different locations after just a play through and not just loving the game for the sake of playing with the Devs.

feels very pixelated to me. not sure how else to describe it.
@@W3TTBUTT3R the zooming part looked low res, but the actual aiming down sights looks quite real with the depth of field, etc.
it looks terible lol, nothing can be compared to tarkov scopes and zooming, they need to rework the scopes, iron sights

I've been looking forward to this game for a while, never been able to jump in to a milsim early and I plan on finally managing with this one when it releases
This is a game of my dreams. If they pull off high quality AI, sounds and third person animations as they develop.. this game will be incredible.

Ghost recon has a 1st person mod, it's amazing if you haven't tried it
@@DragonNectar The health/survival aspect is very much like Tarkov from everything I've heard across this play test. Fairly brutal as well.

I love how they use actual real life guns and accessories in this game. it's gonna be awesome to play a game using guns and parts that I actually own in real life

Man this seems like my kinda game. This seems like tarkov meets farcry. Farcry 4 was one of my favorites and has a similiar type layout where theres missions with objectives in "bases" of sorts but they were always fun to go after because it felt like an accomplishment when you cleared an area
This looks really cool for early access, just need better gun sounds for immersion but it looks really good, movements seems good. Definitely on my radar now

Arma is a war sim. This is a spec ops behind enemy lines infiltration game. Different experiences
Exactly, and even when Arma does include units that sneak behind enemy lines, they're still two different games in two different genres
Its crazy how these developers came from making mobile games like Dead Trigger to making something so detailed as this.

The scene is in the northern region of Thailand. I remember the blue and white canvas of the hut. It was very realistic, except that the bots' reactions were rather slow and unrealistic.
Going for authenticity. But just a slight criticism. Suppressed rifles. Yeah, they have the suppressed explosion from the gun nailed. But the bullet should be sonic booming (unless subsonic round). Kind of like a really hard clap in a cave (but louder), getting duether and further away. Most games ignore this, so does this one. Suppressed rifles are alot louder than this game makes out. The people in the village might not of heard the gun (explosion in the gun), but they would have heard the bullet. That snap and crack is obvious to anyone who know what bullets sound like and it eould have alerted the village.
I don’t think anyone has listened to the video, they’ve said they’re working on all the audio a lot and the AI. Also some of the people working on the game do own and shoot guns regularly and do testings
The expert called it “sonic booming” lol you mean the bullets should sound super sonic 😂
never claimed to be an expert buddy. But what I do know is that supersonic refers to anything over the speed of sound (over 767 mph) and sonic boom is the explosive sound created when objects go over this speed.
Looks great, and seems to have a lot of realistic touches.

I wanna see a FPS where you actually have to work the controls of the firearms. A certain button for mag release. Certain button (long hold) for charging handle. Certain button for bolt catch/release etc etc. would be really cool seeing how many people really know firearms irl and would also teach people’s asic firearms safety and manipulation for those who don’t have the chance to handle them. I understand that would probably be a pain in the ass for some who wouldn’t like it but I would love it. Would bring more of a realism on game if everyone has to use the controls on their weapons.

Poor GI, abysmal AO, Reused assets everywhere, seemingly static environments. The have a long way to go before this game looks beautiful
