- Welcome back to the channel, and today, I'm taking you on Italian journey to The Venezia in Hua Hin, Thailand - a slice of Italy nestled in the heart of Southeast Asia! 🇹🇭🇮🇹
Let me tell you, man, I didn't really know what to expect because I'd heard some pretty harsh vibes from those online reviews, but I'm all about giving places a chance, you know? So, I rolled up with an open mind and an adventurous spirit.
As soon as I stepped inside, the sound of enchanting Italian melodies filled the air, setting the mood just right. 🎶 And oh, the decor! It was like taking a step straight into the charming streets of Venezia, Italy.
Now, the ticket to this groovy place was just 100 Baht (that's like $2.75 or £2.25 in our currency ). A pretty sweet deal, if you ask me!
I gotta keep it real, though - some parts of The Venezia were still kinda off-limits due to those pesky Covid times. Bummer, right? But hey, don't let that rain on your parade, 'cause the famous Venezia boat rides were up and running!
I gotta admit, the park was lookin' a bit shabby in places and could use a little TLC, but you know what they say, it's the vibe that counts, man. And let me tell you, I was totally vibing with the whole Italian charm thing they had going on.
So, if you're all about exploring unique spots that bring a piece of Italy to Thailand, and you can roll with the punches when it comes to a bit of wear and tear, The Venezia is totally worth checking out.

I thought for a minute that you met a rich widow in Hua Hin and eloped to Italy. But I like your visit. I didn't like dual pricing. But learned that my own country does it at our national and state parks ..tourists vs. locals. Thanks.

Venice in Hua Hin? Well that is certainly something different that's for sure. But what the connection is between the Easter Island Moai and the seven dwarfs and Italy or Venice we will never know unless we go there ourselves to find out, lol. But this is Thailand after all and life will go on regardless i suppose. And after forking out 100 shekels of your hard earned you never even got to do your impersonation of Casey Jones by taking the choo choo train of love for a bit of a spin? Sad that. And good to see that Elvis is indeed still alive and kicking and looking a bit slimmer too. He obviously must have thrown in his spare time job at KFC by the looks of it. Absolutely pumping these vids out in Hua hin Wayne! And I agree with you about this place, it’s looks fine but there’s not a lot going on and you have to wonder what the purpose of it is lol. But still looks worth having a look if your down that way 👍

I was there myself with my partner last week and we found there was quite a lot to do and see , but alas they say a Scotsman is tight yet I paid the money and we thoroughly enjoyed all the attractions . Personally I think that if someone is going to do a review of a business then at least partake in all that is has to offer for the cost of an extra $10 Australian instead of walking around the exterior of all the attractions and stating not a lot open , we found just about everything was open and there is also shops inside and a cafe . Final comment "It is a bit run down " which would describe just about 90% of Hua Hin or Thailand , also take in to account that it went through the covid pandemic which meant that for about 3 years nobody would have visited there , I didn`t see any signs of it being run down perhaps showing what is meant by being run down by photographs .
@@bravefart1000 I enjoyed it here but it was run down a bit. And yes, due to Covid. Hardly anything was open man, why would there be, it's empty. Again though, I enjoyed it and glad you liked it also. 👍 PS I can do whatever I want buddy 👌

If more people paid to come, they would be able to pay some workers to clean up. But unfortunately the government closed everything down due the covid scare....and hurt many places like this...and beautiful resorts too

Worth a hundred to see the art I suppose. Seems a bit run down for only 10 years old, though!
It's a strange place, I would probably come up with a new idea. 100 Baht, I had no complaints. It was only looking at the Art though.
Thanks for sharing! That place was started to show lack of maintenance already 7 years ago. Not many people there and many shops was on their way to close. And some where already closed. We turned in the door when we was told the entrance fee, but then the "cashier" said we could go in for free... That Venezia is just a ghost town now and I don't think it will ever come back to what it was 10 years ago when it opened.
Yes, this place was a bit sad, nothing much was open. The coffee shop and art work was ok. I hope they can do something with it. Thanks.

I feel sorry for the people who make these places and then have too few people attend them they seem to build some great places but not advertise them you either find them by accident or a friend tells you about them, most bussiness's fail becouse people don't know they are there. but I bet you could still have a good day out with the kids they would not notice a bit of missing paint and a bit of dirt.
It was run down a fair bit and a lot of things closed. Sad to see really . It wasn't the worst place though and I hope this place picks up in the high season. It's got a lot of bad reviews . Cheers mate

I've been to Venice a couple of times and I see the parts they meant to look like it. The rest is sort of like a modern art installation, which is fine. Seems worth the 100 baht to me. I doubt they make enough money to really keep the place up nicely because the maintenance costs are probably pretty high and it doesn't look like many people go there.
It's nice to know that it does look like Venice a bit 🤣. I think the lack of tourists has halted this place. It's got potential.

Places like this can sometimes be developed from money laundering. Wash it on some silly project. Not saying this one is, but there are some who suspect it. I don’t know anyone in Hua Hin that goes there. Drive by and everyone makes the same comment - “what a waste”.
Yes, looks like many people just drive past this place. It was sad to see. Wasn't many people about.
@@WalkAboutWayne nicest shopping is Blueport Mall and then Village Market, but you’ve probably been there already. If not they have good AC to walk about.
