They didn't say that she could ask just one question. So she could have asked a basic question (2+2, do I have hair, etc.) figured out which one was the liar, then asked the truth one which door leads to the castle. 'Course here she could have climbed the wall then walked the roof of the maze.

Or both doors would lead to both certain death and the castle. Fill the 5gal, pour it into 3gal, so 2gal left in 5gal Dump out entire 3gal Pour the 2gals from the 5gal into the 3gal Fill the 5gal again, but this time, pour it only to fill the 3gal (which already has 2gals), hence you're only pouring out 1gal from the 5gal... Which leaves you with 4 Gallons in the 5gal! \o/ Try the 13/7 ones and end up with 2, it's more fun :-D

That said since labyrinth is very much wizard of Oz meets alice in wonderland, there's the possibility that both doors lead to the castle, but jareth decided to remove the floor in whichever one she entered, much like how he changed the wall behind her and had his goblins move her arrows.
