I've bought a few Bangood items, which like this have been perfectly satisfactory quality for the cost, but of course not the best. The desolder pump is very effective.
I would guess the top diode being a zener to regulate the voltage. after the capacitive dropper- although the schematic looks a bit weird.
I have seen these on aliexpress, I was going to buy a few and overload them to see what happens.
