I'm so happy you got her! Ironically enough, the 2014 Maleficent doll from this same release was my first 17" LE doll! I remember getting ready hours in advance, skipping class, and driving almost an hour with my best friend to my store at the time. One of my favorite memories. I 100% would have gotten the blue Aurora too if I could, because she is easily one of the prettiest from this line. Really happy for you!
Out of the Pink and Blue Limited Edition Aurora dolls, the blue was always my favorite since I felt the color suited her a little bit better. For me, my grail was purple Rapunzel. I had been able to find the wedding edition for $250, which was the lower I'd ever seen her. Since I felt I'd never own purple Rapunzel, I went ahead and bought bet. While she also is a gorgeous doll I still just wanted purple Rapunzel so bad. Finally, I found her for $800. Normally, I'd be like you and pass, but I knew I'd never spend this much on another doll. So, I bought her and am actually really happy to have her in my collection. I hate how much I had to spend for her, but I like to know I now own purple Rapunzel, wedding Rapunzel, and 10th anniversary Rapunzel
Have to say, I'm not interested in her or any of the "larger" disney dolls, I just don't like the sizes, but you are clearly so excited for her. I feel you in the excitement. :) Happy for you.

I was able to get this doll on eBay for bidding for about 180 which I was more than happy to pay since she is my favorite princess and this doll is beautiful! I now want the pink one as well but my absolute grail is her rag version but is so expensive. Super excited for you tho!
Congratulations on getting your Gail. That’s always awesome. She is very pretty. I do have the parks Aurora. I did not like her dress, so I had a new made for her.
Honestly, I can relate to you a lot and we are so many things that came out doing my kid years that I really want to get bacon and get gas how expensive they were at because I was so I was so much younger
Wow, that blue dress is amazing. Too bad there wasn’t something of this calibre for the Disney World 50th Cinderella. She’s a nice doll, but not as opulent as this Aurora.
I'd really love to collect the LE Disney Princess Dolls but I'm so sad-mad that Disney stopped shipping to my country😭😭 I seriously hope it's just temporary cuz OMG I really want some of the Ultimate Princess collection😭🤣 Also I like collecting one of each princess but I would not mind at all collecting all the variants of Mulan and Belle and other princesses but only if I really love their design😆💸
I’m not a historian, I just like that it’s inspired by actual period pieces mixed with her movie design. It’s a fun way to make her different from the other dolls in the same dress
Hehe I feel you. I am completely fashionably illiterate and it’s rare that I know any kind of term that I don’t have specific experience with aha. God I love weird sleeves. I appreciate so much that sleeves have always been weird
I remember when i was little i still am but when i was really really young i thought the blue suited aurora was better idk why i still stand by my statement till this day

The pink one looks like a princess, but the blue one looks like a queen
The blue dress is definitely better than pink. I wish we'd get another Aurora doll in the blue dress.

I found the blue aurora on Mercari for 280 in box and the pink one for 185 in box should I buy them🎉
Sadly I missed out on the Elsa and Anna and Moana 17 inch dolls I couldn’t get them at the time (sigh) lol
On a real period dress the sleeve capes would be the sleeves of her overdress. The slimmer sleeves would be the sleeves on her under dress, or kirtle.
