Although we don’t like to hear it .. I feel it happened for a reason. You said it yourself that this was the best season you’ve ever had thus far, and God is testing you to maintain that humility, that patience, and that faith in him by that one loss so that you know what it feels like to lose BIG and stay planted within your faith & not give up. It stings more because you’ve worked and worked and it seemed like it was in the palms of your hands but God simply said not yet. We believe in you at the end of the day & will continue to support you. You ran fast & walked off the track healthy & with a second chance for outdoor. I love that you acknowledged that because it is a blessing! Keeping being a light, keep being positive, and keep God first .. everything else will come after. Love❤

It’s never easy being vulnerable and talking about the mental side of things. Sometimes we work so hard and still end up just short, but as the saying goes, “what’s delayed is never denied.” The hard work got you here and the hard work will get you to your there. Outdoor season I know you’re gonna do amazing. I always like to remember my favorite Bible verse Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Never lose that faith and keep being your best Masai! Always rooting for you

Just because indoor didn’t go as you planned wait to see what God as for you in your outdoor season!! You are killing it and our such an inspiration to others

Have you adjusted any of your ultimate goals after indoor season? Very proud to see that the desire to win is still burning deep inside you after not achieving a victory. It sounds cliche’ but your response to that is what will separate Legendary from Great. Drive towards your goals with all that you have, regardless of outcomes and you’ll be sure to receive them!

You were amazing all season! You should definitely feel proud of yourself. There are many greats who did not necessarily win THE title in their fields. Gail Devers is a great example. She’s one of the best 100m hurdlers of all time, yet did not ever win an Olympic medal in that event. Keep up the hard work! 💫

When you set the record you stroll across the line so i knew you can run faster. In the finals you stumbled and still ran the same time as your pb you can reun faster. Indoors is just training for outdoors this is the real track meet you're going to wow yourself this out door season...so just keep doing what you're doiing and you''ll get that dub when it count most...looking for to seeing you in outdoors.....GOD'S CHILD...

Proud of you. I would have given anything to run that fast! I was sooooo committed to being a great athlete, but didn't have the amazing genetics that you have. I remember working so so hard and then finding myself crying at the end because I just couldn't get faster. What I found though is that track gave me a lot of amazing skills that helped me make millions of dollars in my life: A relentless work ethic, goal setting ability, self- discipline and a desire for constant improvement. I even got to coach a couple of amazing track athletes after I taught at UK years later.
So never forget to count your blessings before thinking about what you didn't get. There is so much in store for your future and I can't wait to see it. You're now one of my favorite athletes. I'll be watching all season! Go Cats!

Don’t look behind you at the woulda, shoulda, coulda’s. That ish is behind you! Enjoy your last collegiate year of eligibility. You will run fast when you have fun and not worry about things around you. Fun Fact: I believe you are among the first athletes to break the indoor record and then the outdoor record in the same year of comp. The only other athlete I can think in women’s collegiate Track and Field is your former Teammate Abby Steiner in the 200m indoor/outdoor last season. ~Let’s get it~ Takeoff voice

Hey great job on all your pr’s and accomplishments you had this indoor season and more to come this outdoor season. You inspire me a lot and I love watching your TH-cam videos. I run the 400m in high school and I’m a sophomore right now and 2 weeks ago I had a bad race day and during spring break I trained and worked out and coming back now to a meet on Thursday I keep feeling insecure abt my time and thinking about if I will pr again. Since indoor track I’ve pr at every meet and because the streak is over it just idk made me feel some type of way. I ran a pr of a 1:01.40 and at the meet I ran a 1:03.24. And I have high expectations since this is my first year officially running and I have high expectations from people for me to run sub 1 min and idk if I can’t do it and I don’t like to feel that way about myself. I also want to do college track to so what are some helpful tips to get my mind back on track and stuff. Thank you if you do read this comment it means a lot to me
