Hire a good lawyer and sue nature zen and the first landscaping company. You could also go after the first mudroom contractor and get a judgment against him but if he ghosted that’s kind of over. Worked in the legal field and this is unfortunately a major trend with contractors botching jobs and leaving them unfinished.
The mudroom contractor was probably passed because he had to sand the watermarks that Raven said may have been caused by Ziya. He would have been done.
@@abbe1abbe156 he took a few weeks to come back and finish the job. If he had came back sooner there wouldn't be any stains on the wood. I think she hired a professional so they could give solutions as these kind of things do happen.
Chef Toni is always right! Also if he's a licensed contractor file a nice lil complaint with the state board of contractors because he done got on my nerves not completing his job!
Hey Raven, just a suggestion. What if instead of the risers for the washer/dryer you create faux drawers to match the middle one. It might be easier and less expensive.
It’s the thumbnails that draw me in. Whoever creates them does a phenomenal job. The thumbnail draws you in but not only that, you have the entertaining videos to back them up. Very entertaining video. Keep them coming.
And that stain could be used to match your custom risers for the washer and dryer. Thx for giving us updates and sending all the positive vibes your way for smooth sailing from here on out.
I live for her updates. I cringe every time something doesn't work out right and I feel for her always. I know how it feels to pay thousands for repairs or construction and folks just come in and practice mess with your vision and dreams. These updates let people see what can possibly go wrong (and right) and what you should look out for. Love it🥰

Measure the trim, let Home Depot cut it in house, nail it & finish it yourself. Have your lawyer send a demand letter and/ or file a small claims court case to get your money back. Leave a bad review as well.

I saw someone use a marble (or marble looking) rectangular box with a marble top for their dryer sheets. It was so pretty. They kept it on a lazy Susan with their detergent jars and one of those plants like the ones Raven took down from the top shelves.

Your mom is right (love her! More video from Toni!) So I learned from People’s court pay half or cost of supplies (whatever’s cheaper) then pay the rest or labor after the work is done. Also big thing to note in contract, the agreed upon timeline along with “time is of the essence.”

I think beyond the gap, she may be having a tiny issue with the amount of low bending. Her machines are literally on the ground. The risers are needed especially because she's tall.

2 things: what about custom drawers for the washer/dryer spaces instead of pedestals? Also what about a printed vinyl decal that has the wood grain/tones you’re going for? A local print/graphics shop could print the piece and would likely have an installer to do it.

Absolutely not! I agree 100% - some of these so called workers claim they can do the job but when they realize they are screwing up they disappear! It is so hard to find someone who is actually reliable and experienced. I had to tell one guy to leave my house because he was making a total mess! I do know a little about home improvement- my Dad taught me well! So I can tell immediately if they have a clue about what they’re doing! And I’m watching everything they do!!
The contractor watched a few TH-cam videos and thought that he was a professional craftsman. Then he discovered that he was out of his league so he decided not to come back. SMH 🤦🏾♀️
Maybe you can find two baskets that can fit in the spaces under the wooden counter. You could use it for extra storage so that you don't have to do another build.

Yes. Bamboo/wood tone hangers would give the esthetic also and functionality. Even when they’re empty they will still look appealing. I got slight anxiety when she hung that white on that hanger😅

My 2 cents: My suggestion for the space above the washer dryer, is to have them make a pull out board/table on both sides (or just one side and make the other a drawer or something)

Hey! May I suggest you get a really good high quality desk chair and getting it re-upholstered by a seamstress/tailor with fabric you like and get a cute white seat pillow..ive seen some cute ones shaped like flowers gamers use. 😊

Have a carpenter make you two false drawers on top of the washer and dryer. It'll be easier then making wooden base.

Absolutely not! I agree 100% - some of these so called workers claim they can do the job but when they realize they are screwing up they disappear! It is so hard to find someone who is actually reliable and experienced. I had to tell one guy to leave my house because he was making a total mess! I do know a little about home improvement- my Dad taught me well! So I can tell immediately if they have a clue about what they’re doing! And I’m watching everything they do!!
