I love how everyone is talking about what's the better computer. No one is talking about the skill, time, and effort that went into this short film. I applaud these makers. I understand the level of difficulty. Each frame was made and edited individually, maybe even a year of work.
Now think about how much time and effort went into making a Terminator movie. Real effort and real art is there.
Excellent effects. Amazing how many companies can fail to produce CGI as realistic, fluid, and detailed as these.

PCs in Audio:
1. LYNX AES16 -> Prism sound ADA
2. Concert to Yamaha Pro amps
3. Due to Multiple PCIE in PCs it gives the ability to have multiple cards for multiple I/Os for recording more instruments. Cards give up to a maximum of 32, although I prefer the 16 @ 196k with the lynx.
The only reason why you see lots of editors on mac is because they are trained on MACs.

I was hoping by now there'd be a second part or something. This was/is really good for its time and the people that made it were awesome. Also, had both and prefer my Mac. To each their own but I'll stick with Mac.
I use Windows more than Mac, but I recently started using Linux, so really I’m unsure which side to pick.

macs CAN get viruses, they're just a LOT less prone to viruses sense Mac OSX is a very secure operating system.
+mark no its because macs os is very enclosed from the public, on windows its easy to access registries and therefore program viruses to infect those areas, but not for macs because its less to not even accessable

This was my childhood
I remember wanting a different ending where linux comes in and kills both windows and mac.
Linux is only for devlopers who test Java on it.It is not designed for everyday use because it is a compact os just 50-1000MB (except android) and devloping it was not easy because its kernel is hard to manplaute it.

It may be possible, but not without severe consequences, problems, and warranty voidings. For instance, swapping the hard drive out of an iMac not only voids your warranty right from the get-go, but it also introduces several possible problems, one of which is malfunctioning cooling fans that suddenly blow at full speed for no apparent reason.
You'd never see anything like that on a PC.

No idea. Whatever the problem was it's no longer a concern, my current PCs run windows 7 and except for 1 display driver I had to upgrade myself there's been no trouble.

yup, I actually use BSD and OSX for most tasks. BSD on the server side, OSX on the desktop side, mostly.

I've only used 2 PCs since 1996, they both still work
Also one huuuge advantage of PC over MAC is the whole buying process. I enjoy to spend hours, analyzing the charts, reading user reviews and actually CHOOSING what hardware i want, while with MAC - you get a prebuild rig with who knows what hardware stuffed inside.
You also have to pay for MAC OS X, while with PC you much more flexible - you can install Linux or download cracked Windows (yes people do that).
I think MAC is for people who wants to get things easy and booring way.
Look at HP, Sony, Lenovo, and Dell's websites. They all have some way to help you choose a computer, whether it be a toolbar to choose specific specifications, or a tool to recomend a PC for you.
ASUS seems to lack that. In order to find a computer on their website, you have to look at every computers webpage in order to find out the computer's specs. Not to mention the fact that they don't show any pricing, and you have to go to a third party site to buy the PC.
Not debating the Lenovo. I'm just giving examples. I have no trouble shopping for a laptop on ASUS' site, though I don't really have need to. I use third-party sites, and I keep up to date on what's new.
Any recording studio in the music industry, and any studio that specializes in video editing mainly use Macs. My uncle owns a business producing educational videos, and they only use Macs.
I'm guessing you haven't ever been to a real recording studio, because you if you did you would know they mainly use macs. Even my macbook pro came with free professional softwares for these purposes and they do an amazing job.
...that explains all the cracks and scratches on my PC computer and apple iPad. o__o
