This home is really well done inside and out. Nicely decorated as well. The landscaping is beautiful, and I love the huge cedar trees in the front.

It's a shame there is only one bath for a property that size. That may put a lot of buyers off, that and the limited consideration for clothes storage. I'd probably lose one of the 1st floor bedrooms that share the Jack and Jill shower room, to create a family bathroom and one larger bedroom that has space for at least a wall of built in wardrobes.
Am I the only one that looks these up on Google maps? So much building work going on around the property - turning it into a full on town! No wonder the owners are moving.

@Waddywoos360 Yes I some time do the same. And I was lucky enough to have 2 (or several) million to spend on a home. I like a more boundary space and trees to block out all the new builds from my view.

Can’t believe they are asking “just” (is that an attempt of humour?) £2m for that in the Midlands. Looks cheap and prefabricated. A poor attempt at being fashionable, when with a house you want something that is timeless.

The wardrobe in the principal suite is so small. There's definitely not enough space for two people, surely?
The steam from the showers i feel would be such an issue too.

Pros generally great house. Cons it’s in the midlands, it’s a bit nouveau riche, the front reminds me of the scream mask and it’s in the midlands 😂

Much prefer the Midlands but some of the interior and exterior could be different for me personally I would reduce the size to four bedrooms and invest that elsewhere but the house itself if lovely to look at . But prefer the other 1.5 million pound house from your channel

That's a lovely property. The mature trees are priceless and make it so much more characterful than the bland gardens of overpriced barren new builds

I love the country more than city you have more quite and privacy if I was living in England.
For the price finish and size you can’t go wrong. If I have to say anything negative the bathrooms are boring and too much like a hotel not a home but even that is a push.

That is alright if you want to live in a part of the UK that no longer looks like or sounds like Britain and quite frankly would not pay £2,000,000 for a place where it sounds like a foreign country
I can get much better in South Africa for a fraction of the price and it comes with better weather

With all the building suggested it won’t be rural for very long, sadly. BTW even houses in the midlands have door locks.

I agree, for £2million the wardrobe space is pretty sparse and on top of that, more work needs to be done, like the upstairs balcony and the front gate. Apart from that, nice house.

Meh. Looks like Amityville from the outside, and en-suites with no doors are a no-no. Not surprised it’s been on the market for so long.
I found a 1.3 with 5 bedrooms and a two bed where and 14 acres so not impressed, yes it had an indoor pool too, best still it's not a thrown up new build

Buy the 'City' apartment, rent it to a 'City' boy. Sell it to a 'City' boy in 8 -10 years. Get two of the above country properties if you choose to do so, sorted.
Its a lovely home.
But...................2 million is a lot above its value.
I know the area well, living just 14 miles away.
And whilst it does have just under an acre plot, those rural, countryside views will not be remaining like that for long as West Northamptonshire council have given planning permission for 15,000 new homes to be built in the surrounding area over the coming years.
I think thst whoever buys this will get a nicely appointed home, albeit with an enormously underwhelming garden, but will ultimately be left angry that they eventuslly have a property that is overlooked by yet another homogenous housing estate and thus worth less in the long run.
Add to that the fact that Northampton town centre itself is appalling and its not the prospect it first appears to be.
Only thing I'd say is that the outside color, stark white and back, looks out of place in the beautiful environment.
But I ain't got 2 million pound so, good luck to the new owner.

Weird the way the English put a driveway all the way up to the house. No greenery or landscaping around the front of the home. And at that price point the house is a slab foundation. Wow
Not all, most houses on my wonderful road in Birmingham, Uk have driveways with greenery,planting around the front of the houses 🙂👍🏼
