2008 auris mmt 1.6 goes into neutral whist driving (flashing N) then I have to turn off ignition for 10 seconds then start car then everything back to normal.. until it happens again of course.. any smililar experience or ideas as to what it is? It would be most appreciated.
It is something called Techstream. It is a OBD2 cable that you connect with your laptop. I'm pretty sure that they sell both the cable and a disk with the software. You can buy it on ebay or amazon or look somewhere else.
Hi there I have a 2007 1.4 diesel toyota yaris with mmt gearbox, I bought the car a week ago of gumtree but after one day of driving it the gearbox failed and the buyer won't answer me, on the screen only a small empty square with nothing on it no N, I watched some videos and tried to follow the instructions but no success, I bought techstream of ebay, tried to re learn the gearbox but no luck and also no fault code. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks in advance
@@adelnooh7979 Hi, im thinking of buying a tech stream tool for my Aygo. When you go to transmission relearning and you just want to that without replacing any new parts but just a relearn check. Do you just go to ECU reprograming and by pass ticking all the parts that may have been replaced. All i want to do is check that the ECU is timed right in relation to each gear change as think 1st to second might be timed better if you see what i mean!?

All i can say for now cause i havnt bought a tech stream yet but trying to change too fast into second will make it skip into 3rd and because the hand book for these and the manuals says up to 30 mph from 1st to 2nd and so that maybe out of sink and if it isent then even though mine has only covered 23000 miles the actuator may be slightly worn and being too slow in its operation, do you experience the same thing?

Problem fully resolved by changing clutch.
I got same problem,now driving in manual mode. Garage said change all clutch and actuator motor, costly

Salam brother. Today I replace clutch motor for Toyota Auris. 1.8. After all gear missing not N on dash can u help me ? Also I work car mechanic
actually i didnt face such problem.
but try ti get error codes and calibrate mmt gearbox like in video

check the relays there is one may cause this problem.
check the diagram.
