  • Full-grain cowhide leather belt has a deeply embossed design that extends the length of the belt. All you need to do is trim the strip to the desired length, punch the sizing holes, dye and finish, then add your favorite buckle or buckle set. Pre-cut buckle slot and pre-attached snaps. Belts fit up to 42" waist and 1-1/2" (38 mm) buckles.

    I love your craftsmanship, it's beautiful. I do have a question though. I'm redesigning my Native American dance regalia and want to implement leather work with this one. How would you go about doing an aztec design into the leather?

    thanks for the quick response. I'll look into that product. what I wanted to know is would glass burnishing, sanding, casing or dyeing would give it a done look. thank you I enjoy all your videos.

      +Luis Alarcon Casing would dry out and you have to be cautious with the dyeing of the flesh side of leather as it can be quite difficult for it to get a good seal and may bleed color when damp. Gum tragacanth is used most frequently to slick edges, however it can also work quite well used on the back of belts with a glass burnisher.

    nice video. I bought one of these belts and I don't like the back to rough. any ideas on how to smooth them out?

      +Luis Alarcon You could slick it down with Gum Tragacanth, however many people will sew a thin leather lining on the back for a professional looking finish.
