    Love it. Notice how Courtney says “we” went down this road and “we”...her husband is a cornerstone in her life in all aspects, it’s very clear to see! More power to you Courtney, bigger and better achievements are ahead of you! ❤️👍🏼😎

    That was pretty tough and very warm. She lapped me when I ran the 50k. It looked so easy for her

    Nice job. I have noticed that Courtney resists people.shaping her message, but you did a decent job relating to her on the terms she is comfortable with

    I am so interested to know more about how top athletes like Courtney keep pushing and performing when their legs feel "toasted" during a race that has a good amount of miles left in it. My feedback about going deeper with follow-up questions is centered on this idea.
    When someone starts to open up about something challenging every runner struggles with like at this moment:
    th-cam.com/video/uLBtDZC4iWw/w-d-xo.html
    Consider asking a non-judgmental follow-up question like "What was that like for you to keep going when your legs felt toasted on lap 2." The answer to that questing is more interesting than the generic next questions about what their training, racing schedule, sponsorship and look like. And it shows the person you are talking to that you are actively listing to their responses to your questions.
    Thanks for creating this podcast.

      Thanks for listening! Honestly, I think a lot of those types of questions and follow ups have been exhaustively covered with Courtney. I would rather just point you to excellent episodes she did with Freetrail or Rich Roll than recycle the same conversations...but on principle, I do agree with your points here otherwise

    Was there a reason you predicted Courtney to place 2nd at Bandera??? and a follow up, who did you predict to win the damn thing? I would never pick against Courtney to be honest haha

    • @runsingletrack
      @runsingletrack  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had Amanda Basham winning..with Courtney, it's hard to bet against her...I guess I assumed everyone is fallible at some point and every once in a while, you have an off-race - that's what I was assuming would happen here and it certainly did not!
