Hello fellow nokia enthusiast! I have watched a couple of your assembly/ disassembly videos and i am impressed. You really know nokias. Being an expert i was wondering if you have an idea how to fix a nokia turning on and then shutting off almost immediately. I have a collection and one of the nokias was working but now it turns on and then turns off on its own. I am very sad. Please help. You are awesome
Hello. Thank you! Sometimes they break with no explanation. Worst case scenario the main board got damaged. Other reasons: 1. Depending on the model, the battey is not pressing correctly on the pins. You can pull the battery pins from the mainboard out but not too much. Just a little. They are easy to snap. 2. The battery may be dead. Did you try turning it on while charging? 3. If it has a memory card in, sometimes it geta corrupted and it would do something similar with what you are describing. Take the memory card out and turn it on without it.
Its the 5510. The first glorious music phone. The battery is brand new. Even while it is charging it is acting the same way. I think it has a memory card of like 32 mb😅 i will take it out and try it. I will also inspect the pins and i check for continuity. Thank you so much! Keep it up my man ❤
@@zhangradev3264 I had the same problem with that model. Unfortunetly I could not do anything to save it...that was a mainboard problem. You should take it to a phone service. Maybe they can save it. Sorry for not being able to help you :(
