You don't need a special rupping chain to noodle a log from the side. However, you do need a ripping chain if cutting from the end of the log as if you were making lumber.
You are right. I got a roll of it with a chain lot, so might better use it up. Won’t be doing much milling with a chainsaw so it would just collect dust.
Nice to see the splitter working up some not so nice stuff! Great job Reuben 👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah! It is nice splitting boiler wood too, not to worried about the look of the finished product, makes it go through quick! 👌
Many hands makes light work. Very good video Reuben, very nice haul of wood and made short work of it, well done gents 👏 👍
You got that right! And the right machines 😉 🪵💪
@Earth and Bloom absolutely, I could watch this all day. Such good production. Awesome machines at work 👍
@@famasmaster2000 thank you, I really appreciate that!
That's a perfect compromise between power and speed. Also that was a couple of big deere in that field.
They nailed the 12-22 that’s for sure! And there was a few nice ones running around eh 🚜🚜

@@earthandbloom now I get what you meant by making a ripping chain. You had a spool of chain.
@@thefirewooddoctor Yeah, I bought 6 or 7 assorted rolls of chain with the tooling off market place in the summer.
That's some nasty ass wood.. wouldn't want to have to use a boxstore splitter on that stuff... another good reason to own an eastonmade 12-22
You got that right! Would have been there all day with some sore back with a box store unit 😅
To be Canadian correct isn’t Timmy hozzzzzzz?
Eh! 🇨🇦😎
Excellent splitter ! Nice work Guy’s 🪵🪓👍👏 Rick
I don’t see how I did firewood before it! Thanks Rick! 👍🤟🪵
