Got bored the other night and went through some old scrapped scratch/ TurboWarp projects and games. Let me know if I should work on any of these again. :) Project in thumbnail is here: scratch.mit.ed...
Best way to do rotation, that i found, is to have 3 block that take in a position and rotayion in x, y, z(thats the 3 blocks) and return back the position of xyz
(For shared project 1050757683 aka the one in the description) Jeez how did you optimize the game so well that it actually runs on scratch? It's a full on 3D game too, and it didn't even struggle one bit with the entire screen being filled with wooden walls
it’s just like a game with a bunch of clones similair to griffpatch’s minecraft or other tile games. the only difference is that it rotates the coordinates of each clone on a “3D” rotation matrix to give them their “3D” location on the screen and then uses a sorting algorithm to determine which clone should be layered first and last
Your understanding of the 3D world is fricking crazy! This must require some calculus or trig type stuff! I need to get back into math and geometry!
5:17 Turbowarp's extensions are pretty neat.
please disable the interpolated high frame rate stuff lol. Looks so weird having everything warp around like that
motion blur tho 😢
next vid i will lol mb
All of them are really cool! Would be very grateful for you to share the sb3 files for those projects!
These are all very nice!
INSANE!
Why do you have a gazillion tirbowarp extensions
5:51 bro is selling turbowarp projects to buissneses
this is actually awesome, but why is the whole video interpolated?
it's not even interpolated, interpolating would look so much better, like even just hovering from one thing to the other makes it rly smudgy
i put motion blur on bc im dumb lmao
@@KindPump lol
The First Scrapped Project Is Literally Terraria But Blocky.
Stop Writing Like This
@@flops6969 AND I DON'T CARE! I'M NOT SACRIFICING MY PERSONALITY TO TYPE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!
Continue the 3D tile game! It's amazing!
can you share the link the 3d horror game? that's look amazing
its literally terraria with minecraft physics
Neat stuff! How well do you know Simple3D? I'm having trouble figuring it out
I’ll hopefully release a youtube video on it soon. Theres some documentation for it but it is kind of convoluted. Next video might be Simple3D tut
@@KindPump That would be great :)
why is this entire video interpolated, it looks not very.... uhhh... pleseant
a someday i hope i can make a game like your games
the amazing thing is that you can! keep working on things you enjoy, things that are challenging, and experiment while you're coding!
@@KindPump thank you so much
@@onlyardaof course bro
I think you are missing a sin block on one of the rotations

remove the motion blur
5:00 is open source project?
it can be if you want the source project
@@KindPump i can use it for my games so i need
@@onlyardaokay once I’m home I’ll release an open source version. obviously you will need your own API code
@@KindPump okay thanks
@@KindPump when you will release and where to you will release
