I also like listening to your mother talk, both your voices are so beautiful, I feel so warm!
The scenery in northern Thailand is so beautiful, I believe the air there must be very fresh!
Fresh strawberries and dried strawberries can be eaten together, which can neutralize the acidity and sweetness, it must be delicious!
Your parents are the most energetic elders I have ever seen, it's awesome that they can enter those caves, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰❤🙏

Very Hot and humid aside from a few months out the year then yes very fresh. Also it's among the worst polluted province in the World around this time of the year due to the farmers burning 🔥 massive amounts of farmland. Good times

8:55 This is a sacred cave where Luang Por Sim used to meditate. Other enlightened Monks of the Dhammayutika Nikaya order also used to come here and meditate as well.
Luang Por Sim became enlightened. He made contact with Ajahn Mun as a child. Ajahn Mun spoke the Dhamma to the boy who after hearing it, made the determination to take the robe at 21 years. He remained a Monk all of his life.
Ajahn Mun was the Arahant responsible for the renaissance in Dhamma practise leading to enlightenment, for many monks in Thailand about 90 years ago.

Hiya. A little behind in watching videos. Now I can binge-watch. Which I love.
I have a few wind chimes in my garden, a relaxing sound. Nice hike. Always the perfect music and content. As I said so many times.
You two are the perfect tour guides to any destination.
Cool to see the caves. When you said about the lights going off. That made me feel claustrophobic. So cheap for the accommodation with breakfast. It was huge.

In one of your videos you said you had to take turmeric for your stomach problems. I almost have the exact same problem. Try avoiding soy in any form of it. That was the number one killer for me. Other than that dairy, spicy food, alcohol and some nuts. Unfortunately the list is long. Research "warm" foods vs "cold" natured foods. I think you'll do good avoiding "cold" natured foods. For example bananas are "warm" natured.

Cheers, I have been cutting out grains also and that seems to help. What is helping me the most is intermittent fasting, I eat only in a 6 or 4 hour window and have barely been having any symptoms since doing that. I think its because it gives time for my gut to heal and the inflammation to heal. Also if I am eating during a shorter period of time then it's less periods for possible food inflammation to be happening during the day

In the late 1990s we stayed in an Akha village out of Chiang Rai - Baan Appa. The males had to sleep in a hut over the pig sty! and the women had to stay with the Head man's first wife along with the grain! We helped build toilets for an old couple, gather bamoo in the fo4rest and build the village hall. They cooked a dog! and as the eldest my husband had to eat raw meat. Luckily the Lao boy who was with us made sure that my meat was cooked. No we did not eat the dog! Strawberry fields forever! If you could indicate which month you are travelling in it would give the viewer an indication as to when they should or should not go if they are thiking of travelling in the region. So unfortunate they the local people have opened up the caves but without proper supervision which means that visitors handcream, cosmetics and sweat all all damage the stalagtites. After the cave crisis with the boys, I am just not prepared to go into any cave - I had nightmares during the rescue about those poor boys and so sad to hear that one of them has died just before he was to go to England to study. Thanks for showing a different part of Thailand.
