The 5 benefits I chose are strengthen, lengthen, replenish, nourish roots, and volumise. I will choose those again and this time try a strong fragrance of lavender fragrance, and the leave in cream. The leave in cream is amazing too 😍😍😍 I have yet to try the mask ❤️❤️❤️ Each to their own!
Bummer! Function of beauty is my all time favorite! I’ve been using it for two years now! (Licensed cosmetologist) It works better on my hair than all the salon brands I have tried. I’m glad you still like F.O.B.
I work at the fob plant that makes the target batches, the hair goal pods are the exact same. Honestly using the products, both online orders (I get free shampoos, conditioners, if a customer cancels an order or returns one.) And retail; you're better off with the target batches.
I've been using F.O.B for almost a year now! Made sure with my stylist to check in on their ingredient facts, she said it was A-Okay and I don't think I'll ever use anything else now XD I change up my scents with each new set, set some new goals for it if I notice my hair needs something else..And it has done wonders! I couldn't get my hair to grow out anymore before using it. Now I have managed a solid 12 inches{with trimmings here and there}. Could not be happier with trying their products!
I used FoB for a month the online version with lavender scent, oil control, lengthen strengthen, curl definition and my hair went from needing washing every 3 days to having to wash it either daily or just hide my hair. It became unbearably greasy and it was upsetting. I used to only shed a little bit of hair daily and fob made my hair come out in much larger amounts. Also for some reason I think it must have been the scent, it used to make my scalp super super itchy after washing. I just wouldnt reccomend it at all, I spent so much money buying it and shipping it to England and its ended up half empty on my shelf as its unusable for me. Also for info, my hair is fine and wavy and uncoloured lvl 9 blonde with minimal damage and split ends, it's mid back length.
Do you know what your hair needs specifically ? Because of not it’s easy to think you need something when you don’t and it makes it harder for you and your hair
You putting oil control could have something to do with how greasy your hair became, cuz when u extract too much oil from your scalp, your body thinks the oil it's producing isn't enough, so it begins to produce more and more
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair no problem also btw I just ordered FoB yesterday and I was scared when this was posted luckily you’re just trying out other shampoos.
I loved your last review about function and beauty it was really elaborate and very well explained. It would be so awesome if you could do a video about luxury hair products and recommend some products I have similar hair as you curly and very thick hair and am constantly looking for decent products 😍❤️
ever since I have been using FoB i chose strengthen and hydrate and my hair so so good every time I tug on my hair it's hard to pull out and it doesn't hurt
I love fuction of beauty . I have low thyroid and lupus and my hair actually been growing stronger and healthier since I been using fuction for beauty and not falling out anymore it growing back just say that sharing your other video your reason I try it I'm in love it.
@@bree7547 I think the target bottles are different formula compared to online because I have the same issue , at first my hair was shiny and healthy and people would compliment my hair but then after 3 months of using it my hair began to get dry and I was shedding alot sadly my sister also was loosing hair alot since trying it
@@headchangee How often do you use it? Some function of beauty bottles have rice water in them and although rice water is great for your hair, it should not be used very often as it can give your hair too much protein which can lead to hair falling out.
I have thick, voluminous hair and have since childhood. I started FoB in May of 2020 and just stopped this month (Aug 2021) because I have severe thinning in two spots on my scalp and no other symptoms elsewhere. I’m nervous their products are culprit so I’ve swapped to an Olaplex regimen. I think hormones absolutely could be to blame but I just don’t notice any other body changes that support that option. So idk. I’ll update my comment in a few months if the Olaplex regimen seems to make a difference
I’ve had the same problem, I noticed more shedding than usual and my long thick hair is now thin and my scalp is also sensitive. I switched to Shea moisture castor oil shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully it helps my hair.
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair hey! It’s actually weird you’re responding today. I just had a hair appt this AM and my stylist was commenting on how much thicker my hair has gotten. My edges/baby hairs are almost all completely full again with growth around 1-1 1/2 inches.
Can you show where it says on the pods if it's for the shampoo or the conditioner. I'm looking at my 3 pods now and don't see thst anywhere on the box or the pods itself.
One thing I want to ask is can I use function of beauty shampoo for another hair type that’s not my own? I have naturally wavy hair but I straighten my hair almost every day. I DO NOT want to make my hair even more wavier which is why I was thinking of using straight hair shampoo. However this doesn’t mean I want the shampoo to make my hair straighter. Basically I want a shampoo that just strengthens/moisturizes my hair without changing its shape. Does the straight hair shampoo make my hair straighter?
I would say the funciton of beauty is a good option. It's not going to enhance your wave so much that it would be harder to smooth. Mainly a hair product for curls is going to add hydration and strength. So, i say, go for it. Just get the one with the least amount of "curl adding" benefits. Good luck!
I can’t reach customer service at Function of Beauty. I’ve been sending emails and I got one generic response and this is over a package I didn’t receive, so it’s pretty serious. Do you or anyone else know how to Live Chat? I can’t find a link at all.
I'd like to see a review of Saphira! I've been using the Mineral Moisturizing shampoo/conditioner set for a month and have been really impressed by it.
I would say if you are washing 2 to 3 times a week, it'll probably last you about 2-3 months... maybe longer or shorter depending on the length of hair you have. I wouldn't say it's as concentrated as a high end product, but it's not watery like a low quality shampoo. I hope that helps!
I don’t know but I will say it made my hair look thinner than normal and I could see my scalp through my hair line and near my temples it looked thinner.I can say my hair was soft and smooth looking but who wants to look like they’re losing hair. I only used it once so I can’t say what the long term use of it would do to my hair but I can say that this royally turned me off to this brand and I will be returning it.
New subscriber here. After watching this and a few other videos I finally knew what your haircut is called (I absolutely love the style and have for a long time) so, the next day I got myself a long “shag” haircut. It looks fantastic and apparently my fb people think so too bc I got more comments about my new hair than I did when I said I was starting a new career! Lol Just wanted to say thank you and kudos to you.
This product must vary for each person. I have been using the deep conditioner and love it. I don't use it often mainly because I'm lazy but whenever I get around to it my hair is hydrated for days and frizz-free. I've noticed that my hair was also shiny and of course smelled really great. If I were to condition my hair regularly I'm sure my hair would be in a better state. I haven't used the shampoo and conditioner yet but I do want to try it. I'm confident that it'll work out.
I spent $40 on my function of beauty order, yes, I already had hair loss, but now I have even more hair falling out and burning on the top of my scalp. It also leaves an awful residue in my hair. Yes, I would try to change the formula and try this again, but I don’t have the money for this if it’s just not gonna work it probably would help so good luck to you if you buy it.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I had this weird experience with the shampoo. I ordered a lilac colour shampoo which got black in 3 months, and I was shocked after seeing that because I felt like I have wasted my CAD 90 on a shampoo which I thought would be worth it. I’m not sure who else have experience the same. 😰😰
I came to this video to find out if hair loss was an issue but idk if my hair is just not working with the ingredients but I am experiencing a little more hair loss or shedding since using FOB for about 3 months . I use the strength and moisture boosters in the wavey hair bottles . they do smell nice and I love the packaging but maybe its just something not for my hair type .not only that but my sister also uses the same wavy hair bottles and she is also experiencing a lot of hair loss. so I stopped using it unfortunately. maybe ordering online it might be a different formula and have more control of what goes into it . which I am open to trying because I really wanted this to work lol . but its not super excessive hair loss but it is something I'm noticing when washing or brushing my hair . I have wood floors in my room and I can see hair on my floor or on my sweater , and I have to vacuum everyday and sweep cuz it bothers me . my hair is long and thick , I shed normally but I am noticing more shedding since using FOB . 🤔
My hair has been falling out since the last time I gave birth lol! I’ve been using Pantene my whole life (broke girl probs) and just got my fob yesterday, I’m going to try it but all of these reviews are making me want to stop using after I finish the bottles because they weren’t cheap and I’m not about to waste money or product like that lol! I’ve used a target fob conditioner previous to purchasing online to see how my hair would do with it and to eventually switch over and it’s done really good so far but we will see! 😬
I've been using function of beauty for a couple of months now. I have been using the grape fruit one. In the beginning I enjoyed using it. I'm going to stop using because it's starting to my make hair dry and when I brush my hair comes out. After I wash it makes my hair look greasy. It's also make my hair knotty. Does anyone else have this problem ?
Guys we have different textures of hair it probably did not work for her hair I have 4c hair “I use perfectly fine” that is what you are all saying we have different hair!???!!!!!!
I still want to try Function of Beauty. I have the worst kind of hair- fine and thinning. I struggle with finding the right shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully I can customize a set to make my hair a little healthier 🤞
You should definitely try it! I also have fine hair and before I tried it I shed like crazy and had some thin spots towards the front of my hairline. I've been using it for about a year now and its been a game changer from day one. Barely lose hair now and it looks so much healthier.
@@michelleb5184 I chose Hydrate, Replenish, Strengthen, Volumize, and Oil Control...my full hair profile is: wavy, fine, oily. I also only use their 100% natural scent options as I find that much like in skincare, fragrance in haircare can be irritating. The "all(you)calyptus" in medium strength is my favorite.
Did you feel over time that your scalp wasn't feeling clean with FOB ?? Cause I'm having that feel. Idk if it's more a seasonal thing or I'm not massaging the shampoo in enough or just the product 🤔
I really want to see hair care with no sls no sillicons no parabens ect. And its really hard to go buy them because after afew months I throw it out. Because it doesn't work well for my hair type. Or would you recommend any natural hair products besides hair soap shampoos. I am a new subscriber and love your vids.
Hi! Thanks for subscribing. Glad you like our videos! There are two shampoos that we love to recommend that work for almost everyone. Here are a couple videos we did about them: Bumble: th-cam.com/video/--B-aznfjoY/w-d-xo.html Pureology: th-cam.com/video/9cNJHgPy-50/w-d-xo.html Also, something to consider... not necessarily all silicones are bad. Your shampoo just might be working for you. Hope this helps!
has anyone have some tips on dry scalpe ?! it drives me nuts .. it's not dandruff it's just really dry and the thing is i have buzz and i wash my hair once a week...
Hi! I just stumbled across your channel! I’ve been on a hair journey for months and I can’t find anything that works. I’m currently on a medication (accutane) and it’s been making my hair and skin very dry so I am battling frizz and puffy hair on the daily. I was wondering if you have any recommendations. I honestly just bought these yesterday at target but I don’t know what to expect or know of any other options. I am just using the Maui shampoo and conditioner (Shea butter) and the only two other products I have are the kiny curly knot today and the living proof curl definer. I have wavy hair. Thanks in advance :(
Try Pureology Hydrate th-cam.com/video/9cNJHgPy-50/w-d-xo.html or this Kerastase line: www.kerastase-usa.com/collections/discipline/keratine-thermique-blow-dry-primer.html
@@monicabarbosa9284 try Shea moisture, the best ones for curly hair are the curl enhancing formula in an orange bottle, and the Jamaican castor oil formula.
For the last 2 months I've been using fob. After changing to it my hair has been falling out, in chunks.. the blad spots I now have isn't growing any hair. I had changed nothing except my shampoo and conditioner to FOB.
Your hair will do that when you switch from shampoo with silicone to silicone free (kinda like detoxing your hair) and some hair types actually benefit from shampoo with silicone.
My hair hasn't fallen out like it has until I started using function of beauty, its made my hair look so thin and bland and not to mention oddly.. stretchy? I've tried so many shampoos and I can NOT find one right for my hair type. (I used lengthening, strengthening, and anti frizz in mine)
Hey, I don't know if you're still struggling but I think you might have a protein overload problem with your products and routine. Maybe swap out and replace them with hydration. I noticed when my hair had too much protein it was stringy and flat.
I yes I'm having a problem with function of beauty as well. It's making my hair dry and it looks greasy even after washing. When I brush my hair it comes out. It does itch too.
I'm a dutchie and I have trouble finding a shampoo and conditioner for my hair because of my allergies (ppd and linalool). I was looking into FoB but I had a lot of doubts because of the price. Do you have any recommendations for a good shampoo and conditioner I could get in a dutch store or online?
Kerastase has great products. And you may be able to get it abroad. I just did a review of one that’s hypoallergenic and great for sensitive scalp. Here the link: th-cam.com/video/y2helOsOVBA/w-d-xo.html Really anything in the Kerastase line is great. I’m not sure about your specific allergies so you might have to do some investigation on your own just to be safe. Also Kerastase isn’t cheap. So if you’re looking for a more affordable option, FoB might not be too bad. Hope that helps!
Been using this brand for around 3 months. So far i kinda like it. I do like the shampoo but the conditioner is not doing anything for me. It leaves my hair tangled, even though i brush it, it still leaves my hair super tangled and not feeling hydrated. I do have thick hair so maybe I chose something wrong. I would give Function of Beauty a 7/10
A couple things to think about: Your shampoo and conditioner night not be right for your hair. You can rebalance it with a nice scalp cleansing shampoo: bit.ly/2YLfqNe A lot of times when your shampoo strips your hair of its natural oils, your scalp will over produce. So make sure you're not using a harmful shampoo.
As a cosmetology student I honestly don't think FOB is a high end product. If they were an online only avenue then I would reconsider, but now that they are sold at Target I feel like they sold out and market towards the everyday person who wants good hair at an inexpensive price (which you often get what you pay for!) instead of salon professionals and their clients.
guys she is just saying how it didn’t work for HER snd that if you have similar hair it may not work for you either. everyone has different hair types and some products may work while some may not.
i just started trying out function of beauty and at first my hair was less tangly and felt healthier for a couple weeks then i started to notice my hair would dry and become greasy so im trying to figure out if it's the formula or the boosters thats the issue
I started using the Wow shampoo and conditioner. It worked at first but now it’s just even more oilier. So I ordered the Beauty of Function but I’m now kind of scared to use that after seeing a lot of bad reviews on it.
We found Function of Beauty to be pretty average, but not bad. Although, everyone's experience is different. As you noticed, the type of product can affect the oil in your hair. You could try FoB and see how it does. But if you're looking for something higher quality that might be better for your hair, we recommend Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil for almost anyone, including people with oily hair. Here's a link to a video we made about it: th-cam.com/video/--B-aznfjoY/w-d-xo.html
Covid can make your hair fall out. No one is really mentioning that. And before you say you didn't get it, just about EVERYONE has been exposed. So all the panic over the hair loss can *probably* not be chalked up to bad products.
Hi there! Besides having a stronger scent, it shouldn't affect it too much. Some people have scalps that are sensitive to fragrance. But that varies from person. You can always reach out to their customer support and ask for a swap. I've heard they are pretty responsive.
I bought one set of shampoo and conditioner and I wanted my hair to be stronger cause I was pulling so much out during the shower and during the day. But the shampoo barely lathered and made no difference. And the conditioner, don't get me started. It had the consistency of mustard. Could barely spread it. I had to use so much and ended up finishing it first
I currently use Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner. High quality. And want to switch to FOB to try it. It’s a little cheaper. I just like variety and get bored easily with products even when they work well. Lol 😅 But I can’t do it cuz Kevin Murphy is such a good high quality brand and FOB is just too big of a risk lol
In my opinion, you might be disappointed with FOB coming from a higher quality product. There are other higher quality products you could use if you’re bored with Kevin Murphy
There are different kinds of silicones. There can be lower quality and higher quality. Most of the time a silicone is added to provide softness, frizz protection, and shine. Less expensive products will usually have the lower quality silicones in the products which can lead to dry and brittle hair.
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair ok thank you I've only ever used Head and shoulder shampoo and have never used conditioner. Was thinking about ordering fashion of beauty but wasn't sure if I should hit the silicone free options. I have always had really bad dandruff that Head and shoulder only seems to help barely
If you struggle with dandruff check out this video I made about a shampoo last week. It’s a little expensive but I love to recommend for people with it itchy flaky scalp. It might be worth checking out. th-cam.com/video/y2helOsOVBA/w-d-xo.html
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair thank you I will for sure check that out. I came looking for reviews because my hair is falling out! I use Not your mothers and it works wonders. FOB makes my hair feel completely stripped and the conditioner does NOTHING to help
I hated this stuff. It made my hair brittle, frizzy, and it was falling out. I ended up going a bit Karen and asked for my money back. They did refund me, which was appreciated. This stuff is not worth the money at all.
I filled their quiz perfect to how m hair was. My hair had kinky curls and I customized it to curly hair. M hair it now frizzy and the curls are less defined. I have to go now every six months to a year to a salon to get my hair permed so itll look the way it use to. F.O.B is not worth it in my opinion.
Bummer to hear it didn't work for you. Although we think it's a decent mid-range product it's definitely not for everyone. Here are some things to consider: 1. Curls can sometimes loosen as you age. 2. Perms can weaken your natural curl (it chemically changes your hair... there's no going back) My advice (without actually seeing your hair and knowing your history) to get back to your natural curls, would be to grow out your perm, and use a product specifically designed for curly hair like Ouidad... OR keep getting the perm if it's giving you the results you want. Just be sure to use the products your stylist recommends. Hope that helps!
@@Jennj96 kinky was a typo I didn't realize it was there and my hair was a 3b and 3c mix. I been using it for four years and absolutely in love with their products
Awesome!
ever since I have been using FoB i chose strengthen and hydrate and my hair so so good every time I tug on my hair it's hard to pull out and it doesn't hurt
Girly! You scared me thinking something real bad was the reason you stopped! Props to that ahaha 👏 🙌 👌
Sorry for the scare! 🥲
I've been growing my hair put since March 2020, its grown at least 9 inches since last year obv I have some split ends... how do I take care of that
The best thing to do would be to get a trim. Maybe an inch or two. The split ends will damage the rest of the hair if they aren't cut off.
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair the ends definitely cling to eachother like velcro. thank you for your suggestion!

Hey was wondering what 5 hair concerns you picked ? Lupus runs in my family and one of my cousins have it. Its so hard for her to find good hair care.

Function of beauty made my hair dry , my scalp dry and itchy . Issa no for me
What do you use that you like?
I had the same issue, so disappointed, I bought mine at target. Now I have to find something else.
Any updates with the new product?
I’ve had the same problem, I noticed more shedding than usual and my long thick hair is now thin and my scalp is also sensitive. I switched to Shea moisture castor oil shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully it helps my hair.
Any updates?
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair hey! It’s actually weird you’re responding today. I just had a hair appt this AM and my stylist was commenting on how much thicker my hair has gotten. My edges/baby hairs are almost all completely full again with growth around 1-1 1/2 inches.
I’m a fan of Olaplex! Do you think that’s what helped?
Can you show where it says on the pods if it's for the shampoo or the conditioner. I'm looking at my 3 pods now and don't see thst anywhere on the box or the pods itself.
Love the energy in this FAQ video. Laughed quite a few times but that title is SUPPER click bait but go awff sis!

Lol 😂 - just reading this now.
Good luck!
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair Thanks!!
I can’t reach customer service at Function of Beauty. I’ve been sending emails and I got one generic response and this is over a package I didn’t receive, so it’s pretty serious. Do you or anyone else know how to Live Chat? I can’t find a link at all.
Maybe try a phone number on your confirmation email?
Ohhh ok that's good to know. Because I'm going to buy it today
I'd like to see a review of Saphira! I've been using the Mineral Moisturizing shampoo/conditioner set for a month and have been really impressed by it.

Yes! I’m actually using it for my daughter with curly hair and it’s working well for her
@@Bekah_and_co_prohair thank u sm ❤️❤️
I have very dry frizzy hair.. no matter what I use .. any recommendations
Is it thick or curly?
It's really thick.. American Indian hair
Have you tried pureology smooth perfection? Or kerastase discipline line?
I haven't.. I will try
Give one of those a try! And before you do, use a clarifying shampoo like Bumble and Bumble Sunday shampoo to give yourself a clean slate
How long does the shampoo and conditioner last? I don’t want to have to buy something expensive if it doesn’t last a long time 🤷🏻♀️
I would say if you are washing 2 to 3 times a week, it'll probably last you about 2-3 months... maybe longer or shorter depending on the length of hair you have. I wouldn't say it's as concentrated as a high end product, but it's not watery like a low quality shampoo. I hope that helps!
Can I ask where you got the painting and the frame on the back wall from?
Home goods 🧡
Ever since I started using this my hair has been falling out a lot, could it be from function of beauty?
I don’t know but I will say it made my hair look thinner than normal and I could see my scalp through my hair line and near my temples it looked thinner.I can say my hair was soft and smooth looking but who wants to look like they’re losing hair. I only used it once so I can’t say what the long term use of it would do to my hair but I can say that this royally turned me off to this brand and I will be returning it.
Sorry you had a terrible experience. That sucks
I have a new video coming out addressing this!
Thanks!! Congrats on the new look! I still love my shag cut! It’s so easy. Thanks for subscribing! ❤️
Hey! I was wondering if you can review Love, Beauty & Planet?
We'll put it on the list!
Thanks, very helpful!
I guess it really depends on the formula you choose
This product must vary for each person. I have been using the deep conditioner and love it. I don't use it often mainly because I'm lazy but whenever I get around to it my hair is hydrated for days and frizz-free. I've noticed that my hair was also shiny and of course smelled really great. If I were to condition my hair regularly I'm sure my hair would be in a better state. I haven't used the shampoo and conditioner yet but I do want to try it. I'm confident that it'll work out.
Thanks for sharing!!
What do you recommend me I have wavy hair and i use ogx right now and I feel like it making my hair fall out I'm 16 years old?

I spent $40 on my function of beauty order, yes, I already had hair loss, but now I have even more hair falling out and burning on the top of my scalp. It also leaves an awful residue in my hair. Yes, I would try to change the formula and try this again, but I don’t have the money for this if it’s just not gonna work it probably would help so good luck to you if you buy it.
I would contact the company and get your money back

What is your opinion of WEN products?
I’ve never tried them. I’ve heard mixed things. Have you tried them?
Should you use the silicone or not?
no
Depends on if you like frizz control
Why use such a misleading title if there's nothing wrong with the product
You should do a video on pure zero! They sell it at target!!

How do you feel about living proof?
I tried the PHD by that brand and it made my hair feel like straw. Hope this helps!

i bought function of beauty for my mom and her hair was looking FRESHHH
I've been using function of beauty for a couple of months now. I have been using the grape fruit one. In the beginning I enjoyed using it. I'm going to stop using because it's starting to my make hair dry and when I brush my hair comes out. After I wash it makes my hair look greasy. It's also make my hair knotty. Does anyone else have this problem ?
That’s a bummer. It doesn’t sound like it’s a good fit for you. Have you found anything to replace it? What kind of hair texture do you have?
Guys we have different textures of hair it probably did not work for her hair I have 4c hair “I use perfectly fine” that is what you are all saying we have different hair!???!!!!!!

Prose made my hair fall outtt
I still want to try Function of Beauty. I have the worst kind of hair- fine and thinning. I struggle with finding the right shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully I can customize a set to make my hair a little healthier 🤞
You should definitely try it! I also have fine hair and before I tried it I shed like crazy and had some thin spots towards the front of my hairline. I've been using it for about a year now and its been a game changer from day one. Barely lose hair now and it looks so much healthier.
@@Elle.Terraine what boosters did you use?
@@michelleb5184 I chose Hydrate, Replenish, Strengthen, Volumize, and Oil Control...my full hair profile is: wavy, fine, oily. I also only use their 100% natural scent options as I find that much like in skincare, fragrance in haircare can be irritating. The "all(you)calyptus" in medium strength is my favorite.

Did you feel over time that your scalp wasn't feeling clean with FOB ?? Cause I'm having that feel. Idk if it's more a seasonal thing or I'm not massaging the shampoo in enough or just the product 🤔
I didn't feel that way. But if you do, try shampooing twice and be sure to scrub your scalp well.
I really want to see hair care with no sls no sillicons no parabens ect. And its really hard to go buy them because after afew months I throw it out. Because it doesn't work well for my hair type. Maybe talk to your doctor?
Its my second time of the week using fob but it’s making my scalp sooooo itchy i think i might stop using it
You wouldn’t be the first person to say that. What do you want in your shampoo. Maybe I can help.
Royce & Bekah that would be amazingg, i want something that will strengthen mainly & get some better curl definition 👍
I read that FoB will let you reformulate your shampoo for free but only the first time.
I have a video addressing some of these issues coming out soon.
My hair started getting this weird buildup and I used the silicone free version. So I had to stop
Interesting... what did you switch to?
Same. It was frizzy dry and brittle but had a coating to it...I also had silicone free. This stuff is crap.
Your hair will do that when you switch from shampoo with silicone to silicone free (kinda like detoxing your hair) and some hair types actually benefit from shampoo with silicone.
I’d like to know what you’ve heard about Headquarters hair care line.
i've never heard of it... I'll have to google it.
I’ve heard a lot about prose in comparison to FOB since they also have a quiz, would love to hear your opinion on that one
I just got my prose box in the mail!!! Shouldn't be too much longer ;)
That’s awesome I can’t wait to see that video 😍

Don’t hate the playa, hate the game
I'm a dutchie and I have trouble finding a shampoo and conditioner for my hair because of my allergies (ppd and linalool). I was looking into FoB but I had a lot of doubts because of the price. Do you have any recommendations for a good shampoo and conditioner I could get in a dutch store or online?
Kerastase has great products. And you may be able to get it abroad. I just did a review of one that’s hypoallergenic and great for sensitive scalp. Here the link: th-cam.com/video/y2helOsOVBA/w-d-xo.html
Really anything in the Kerastase line is great. I’m not sure about your specific allergies so you might have to do some investigation on your own just to be safe. Also Kerastase isn’t cheap. So if you’re looking for a more affordable option, FoB might not be too bad. Hope that helps!
I Love the conditioner for fine hair! No booster is awsome!!
I would give Function of Beauty a 7/10
I used it once. The perfume stinks. It's so strong and I hated it. I'm usually not real picky about that, but this one was horrid.
It is pretty strong… I feel like the longer I had it… the stronger then scent got
I would love for you to do a review of Aura!
thank you for your input! :D
My hair is super greasy I have to wash it after 24 hrs it sucks have any tips?
A couple things to think about: Your shampoo and conditioner night not be right for your hair. You can rebalance it with a nice scalp cleansing shampoo: bit.ly/2YLfqNe
A lot of times when your shampoo strips your hair of its natural oils, your scalp will over produce.
I'm going to try it . I've tried pureology , redken , joico and none have made my hair feel soft or wowede for the price. Hope I can find something
guys she is just saying how it didn’t work for HER snd that if you have similar hair it may not work for you either. everyone has different hair types and some products may work while some may not.
i just started trying out function of beauty and at first my hair was less tangly and felt healthier for a couple weeks then i started to notice my hair would dry and become greasy so im trying to figure out if it's the formula or the boosters thats the issue
I only used twice so far and girl, they gave me sudden dandruff and itchiness????
I have super oily hair what shampoo and conditioner do you recommend?
What do you use now?
Thank you! I’ll give it a try ☺️

Covid can make your hair fall out. No one is really mentioning that. And before you say you didn't get it, just about EVERYONE has been exposed. So all the panic over the hair loss can *probably* not be chalked up to bad products.
It’s true. COVID can make your hair fall out. So crazy
Hi love! i accidently chose strong for the fragrance, is it gonna affect it?
Hi there! Besides having a stronger scent, it shouldn't affect it too much. Some people have scalps that are sensitive to fragrance. But that varies from person. You can always reach out to their customer support and ask for a swap. I've heard they are pretty responsive.
Ok so the title is just click bait. Lame.

I just like variety and get bored easily with products even when they work well. Lol 😅 But I can’t do it cuz Kevin Murphy is such a good high quality brand and FOB is just too big of a risk lol

Is there really a different in silicon free and silicone shampoo and conditioner
Yes it not good for your hair in the long run only for or alcohol dries your hair Google it
There are different kinds of silicones.
Here are some things to consider:
1. Curls can sometimes loosen as you age.
2. Perms can weaken your natural curl (it chemically changes your hair... there's no going back)
My advice (without actually seeing your hair and knowing your history) to get back to your natural curls, would be to grow out your perm, and use a product specifically designed for curly hair like Ouidad... OR keep getting the perm if it's giving you the results you want. Just be sure to use the products your stylist recommends. Hope that helps!
If you can get your hair permed to get your curls the way they typically look, chances are your hair isn't kinky XD are you type 4?
@@Jennj96 kinky was a typo I didn't realize it was there and my hair was a 3b and 3c mix.
